  1. I think that the fact that they have been getting ready to refurbish the scream trains for a while now might mean they are also going to give it a paint job before TC opens.
  2. The guy in the patch vest is clearly charging up his laser eyes. Stay safe at magic mountain everyone.
  3. ^ They have been cutting off a lot of track on all three major structures of the ride (both horseshoe turns and the weird bunny hop thing) as well as placed more track on the lift hills. Also, the top of the lift hill support structure looks complete and ready for the track and walkways to be added.
  4. ^ Awesome construction video! Can't wait to see how this ride shapes up within the next couple of weeks!
  5. Wicked cyclone looks like it's gonna be bananas! This + Tc > Outlaw run + Medusa.
  6. Really?! You start an ebolaesque frenzy with the statement, "Interesting stuff going on at TC's construction. " And respond with, "I just saw some workers talking and funky looking stuff, nothing picture worthy so I just figured it was interesting." Seriously?! Generally one would follow the statement, "Interesting stuff going on at TC's construction. ," with say... ...pictures of the workers installing glory holes to each individual seat of the ride vehicle. That I would find as, "Interesting stuff going on at TC's construction. " I agree and ... LOL!!! I'm sorry No glory holes
  7. The front row of the second to last car on Viper gives you a smooth ride!
  8. ^Screw that. How about re track Goliath with a more complete layout with airtime hills. We'll call it Go2liath "You only drop twice" will be the tagline. I'm a freakin' genius
  9. I just saw some workers talking and funky looking stuff, nothing picture worthy so I just figured it was interesting
  10. I actually really dislike Goliath's drop. I don't like being firmly planted in my seat and watching the ground approach. From my experienced, the more parabolic drops create an increasing sense of weightlessness and free fall until they hit the pull-out. Part of the problem may be that it's not very steep though. It would be interesting to experience the ramp-style drop on something much steeper. The Goliath drop definitely gives a more...unique feeling. The drop itself isn't very scary/exciting since it's not forceful at all (unless you're in the back seat). But I don't know, it's just something about a nice looong plummet into the ground that is just awesome to me.
  11. ^I really like the Goliath/Titan style drop. It's long and consistent. All these curvy drops nowadays...
  12. Does anyone know how many feet of track the Goliath drop consists of? I'm not talking about the 255ft height of the drop, I mean like actual feet of track. I'm assuming it's more?
  13. Telling kids to not cut in line might disappoint them now, so I can see how easy it is to just let them get away with it. But you're doing them a huge favor by telling them to not disrespect park policies. Kids can't just go around thinking they can get away with being jerks. Think of all the possible things that could lead up to in their future.
  14. That seeexyy whiite woood oh my GOD. Cant wait for that last one to get erected. Don't take that out of context.
  15. I don't care if the ride op's ride. But when they do it just to make sure Green Lantern doesn't spin anymore that's where theres a issue. I know SFMM ordered the ride op's to counter-balence the cars so it doesn't spin about 20 seconds after it opened or so. But I still think it's bullshit to operate a ZacSpin so that it doesn't well, spin. It might be a decent pelvic bone buster, but I don't think thats worth the wait. Riding with the other side of the car empty will not deliver an enjoyable experience.
  16. ^I've also ridden coasters at this park alongside a ride op, what's so bad about that?
  17. I like the feeling of being high up in the sky that Tatsu gives you. Manta looks cool for what it is but I value living out my dream of flying more
  18. I've never greyed out or felt like i was really going to die because of a coaster, but I have felt like I reached my limit on Intimidator 305 and Green Lantern First Flight at MM.
  19. Now I'm second guessing myself. Also, this may sound like a silly question, but you can get to the park without a car, correct? I mean I think it would be silly to be forced to have a car in order to enter, but when I think about it, I don't recall ever seeing people walking up the road into the park. You absolutely do not need a car to enter the park . There's even a little drop off area if you want someone to give you a ride to the park without needing to pay the parking fee And I actually have seen people walk up the road to get to the park lol
