  1. Oh, I didn't realize that they were closed that day... I remember that Valleyfair has been doing it on a different day than other parks for the past couple years, I think.
  2. Valleyfair is on June 14th. You can sign up now, will a thread be made soon?
  3. Nope. I'm not a waterpark guy. I'm sure they'll be very popular rides, and I think it's great the park is getting them, but I'll stay in the dry park. I mean, Renegade is in the dry park, so I don't see a reason to leave it... Also, for people thinking about doing Coasting For Kids this year, it's on the 14th, NOT the 7th, other Cedar Fair parks are doing it on the 7th, but Valleyfair wants to be special.
  4. Wacky Worms and Euro-fighters are good. I'll go with Wild Mice as all.
  5. Hey, does Nolimits 2 have a feature where it automatically adds trees, or do you have to add each individual tree?
  6. Well, I would love to see something like Cedar Point's Pointbuzz, but if you're talking about an event, I would love a backstage tour of the maintenence shop, a backstage tour of renegade, and some ERT on Renegade and/or Wild Thing (Maybe have some trimless High Roller ERT ). Just a couple of suggestions...
  7. I know! It's going to be a red Aquatrax!
  8. ^This is a B&M, I don't think we have to worry about that...
  9. ^Did Cedar Point market Gemini as the tallest and fastest and longest coaster in the world, when it opened? OK, Cedar Point doesn't need to falsely market Gatekeeper.
  10. Uh, bad planning? I'll definitely pass on this one.
  11. Couple from Nickelodeon Universe: Ninja Turtle
  12. ^I had a really hard time reading your post, could you please use proper spelling and grammar? Renegade is NOT a lame design, Wild Thing's turn-around is unique, if some transitions on Excalibur would be fixed it would be a really fun (and comfortable) layout. I'm not seeing where you get this idea that Valleyfair only gets "lame" designs.
  13. No one is arguing that boomerangs are better than impulses. It used to have one, but I'm guessing that it just didn't bring in enough money to support it (after all, Excalibur isn't very popular)
  14. Hey, I just bought Nolimits 2 today, and I was wondering how to actually ride the coasters and see it in full quality. How can I get it to run at full quality (as in, I want to see the actual wood, not blue lines)? I would put a screenshot in, but for some reason I can't put one in. EDIT: I figured out how to do it, however I don't know why I can't post a screenshot here.
  15. Cool ride, I like how elongated it looks compared to the HUSS. How large a space might it need? From the website: Lenght dimension 37,365 m (122’) Width dimension 25,236 m (82’) Height dimension 44,80 m (147‘)
  16. Well, I am over a week late, but this idea came to my head, Renegade walk back. Have they called yet?
  17. That was amazing. This is the most extensive theming I've ever seen on a wacky worm. Is it your new favorite coaster, Robb? "REAL DUCKS! Oh wait, they're animatronic."
  18. Yeah, I was thinking this as well, I haven't heard very many good things about Six Flag's "traditional" wooden roller coasters. Especially is this "traditional" wooden coaster has inversions, then I'm worried that after a few years it might turn into a Hades 360. Gwazi, haven't ridden it but I think I've heard it got REALLY rough, proved that if you don't maintain a GCI well, it shows. I'm perfectly OK with them sticking with RMC and Intamin for their extreme wooden coasters, but I don't want them to turn their back on GCI forever (don't think I'll have to worry about that, though).
  19. Hmm--not necessarily sure I agree with that. I think an RMC is most likely always going to be a better choice than a GCI, even though I like many of the latter company's coasters. Yep, I agree. I would think that a park would benefit more from an RMC than a GCI. I haven't been on an RMC (just a few more months...) but they seem to be building more intense, smoother, marketable, and they costs less to maintain (I think) than a GCI. I'm a HUGE fan of GCI, and I think the more GCI coasters the better, it's just that I think an RMC is a better option. However, if they wanted an inverting wooden coaster, which seems to be a trend with RMC, I would love to see GCI enter the inverting wooden coaster race. I've heard that they designed the Millennium Flyers to do inversions.
  20. ^Wow, that wooden coaster is REALLY good!
  21. 7/10 You've been on Wodan and Expedition Geforce, and I think that's awesome!
  22. If anyone is interested, Knoebels is on google street view. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.877561,-76.504016,3a,75y,141.61h,108.63t/data=!3m5!1e1!3m3!1sJMAt2HUCNQH-jyefZh2rng!2e0!3e5
  23. RCDB promoted my Facebook page (link in signature) on their Facebook page!
  24. I saw "Into The Woods" today, and it was extremely well done. I don't know what Disney's doing, but they keep hitting home runs (Frozen was super popular, Big Hero 6 was 100% awesome, and now Into The Woods) Strongly recommend this!
  25. Congrats! Where will you be working?
