  1. I wasn't "impressed" the last time I rode it but it sure was fun. I rode it last summer. I much prefer Nitro or Diamondback. Heck, I even like Steel Force better.
  2. If and when there are any updates, you can bet someone will post them here without waiting for you to ask if there are any updates.
  3. I got a mild burn on my hand when I rode Howler last summer. Hot sun on black wheel.
  4. I saw that map posted on Facebook in the Knoebels Connoisseurs group.
  5. I'm pretty sure that if and when there is activity in that area, someone will post about it.
  6. that first hill itself makes me want to get there to ride. only been there once when Chang was brand new. lol I can't think of a worse b&m than Chang! And now we're saddled with it here in NJ.
  7. Yeah, I'm not going back to the park until they remove the stupid VR gimmick.
  8. Am I the only one who actually enjoyed T3? The only other Vekoma SLC I've ridden is Mind Eraser at SFNE so I don't have much to compare it with, but I thought it was much smoother than Mind Eraser. I didn't have any problems with the restraint crushing my thighs, either.
  9. No no no... OVER 2 1/2 hours. It just doesn't go any higher. See the little plus sign? Lol Christ, I missed that. I just don't know what to say lol. How is 2.5+ hours worth strapping a phone to your face to see a cheesy movie? Especially on a ride that is so great it doesn't need extra bells and whistles. THIS!!!!
  10. I just realized that when I ride The Joker on Saturday, it will be my 100th coaster.
  11. ^ Not before I get a chance to ride it. I wanna see what all the complaining is about.
  12. I haven't ridden Lightning Rod yet, but I have ridden Storm Chaser and Wicked Cyclone. I fit into both of those with no problems, but could not fit into Millennium Force because the seat belt was about an inch shy of reaching the buckle. That really put a damper on my day at Cedar Point.
  13. Dunkin' Donuts has a coupon code available to give you $12 off if you purchase online for a July visit. The coupon code is 20076.
  14. If you want rough, head up to Agawam, MA and ride Mind Eraser.
  15. I think that's just lame. I was under the impression that it's required for roller coaster operators to push on all the restraints to make sure they're down.
  16. You want it back? Please take it. Please. Come on Six Flags, nobody would care... give it back. lol
  17. I only ever ride Steel Force in the very front row. Rode it in the back once and it was pretty much a snooze fest. On the other hand, I love Talon in the very back row in the left-most seat. It's awesome getting whipped through those elements.
  18. Is it considered snapping when one of the cables attached to the flyer becomes slack and then tightens back up again? If so, then I think I snapped the ones at Knoebels without even trying to.
  19. I, too, enjoyed Kings Island more than Cedar Point. Primarily because I actually fit in the restraints of all the coasters I queued up to ride. I was walk of shamed off Millennium Force because the seat belt was about an inch shy of fastening. That pretty much put a downer on the rest of my day.
  20. Even though I've never been to Hersheypark, I agree that wooden coasters being shaky is alright. Other than Racer at KI, every woodie I've been on has been perfectly fine, and I've ridden Hurler and Mean Streak. I even enjoyed Racer at Kings Island. The only woodie I haven't really enjoyed is Thunderhawk at Dorney, even with the new trains.
  21. I honestly don't know why Wildcat gets so much hate. I have a very low tolerance for pain and I didn't find Wildcat to be painful at all. Sure it was rough, but woodies are supposed to shake you around.
  22. ^ I was kind of expecting you to put "here's your sign" at the end of your post.
  23. I think the gist of this is for first time visitors to the park to ride Intimidator before they ride Fury.
