  1. I've ridden the Whips at Kennywood, Knoebels, Hersheypark, and Dorney Park. I like the ones at Dorney and Knoebels the best. The others seem to run slower.
  2. If that's the case, a rainy day would be a good day to ride it. In my opinion the VR gimmick is completely unnecessary.
  3. ^ I even enjoyed my ride on GateKeeper with my calf cramping up just as I got in the seat. It was a chilly day when I rode it and my muscles seem to cramp more in chilly weather.
  4. How long is this VR gimmick supposed to last anyway? I want to know when it's safe to plan another trip up to SFNE.
  5. I actually found T3 to be a lot less rough than Mind Eraser at SFNE.
  6. I asked this question earlier, but never got an answer. Is it better to visit Kennywood on a Saturday or a Sunday in early September if you want shorter lines? I've only been to the park once and that was on a weekday. I also plan on hitting up Waldameer the same weekend. On another note, that one time I went to the park Exterminator seemed to have the longest and slowest line of all the coasters.
  7. I've ridden Wicked Cyclone at SFNE as well as Storm Chaser, and they're both amazing rides.
  8. I haven't been to the park in June, so I can't say anything about that. However, if you're going to do QuickQueue, do the QuickQueue Unlimited. The regular QuickQueue only lets you skip to the front of the line once for each ride that has QuickQueue.
  9. I'm planning on going to Kennywood the first weekend of September. I also plan on hitting up Waldameer that same weekend. Should I hit Kennywood on Saturday or Sunday if I want shorter lines? The only other time I was at Kennywood was during a weekday.
  10. People being giant pansies. I kinda want Togo to have a resurgence in America so these people would properly understand what "rough" means.
  11. As I said previously, I rode Banshee in the very back row and experienced no rattling whatsoever. When I think of a B&M rattling, I think of Hydra at Dorney Park.
  12. My day at Kings Island was very rainy, especially in the afternoon. There's nothing that compares to riding Diamondback and The Beast in steady rain.
  13. I sat in the very last row when I rode Banshee on the 20th and I didn't notice any rattle.
  14. I went to Knoebels on Saturday. I got in line for Flying Turns at about the sign that says the wait is 45 minutes. I got to the platform after about 20 minutes. So, yes, the operations at Knoebels kick some serious butt. On another note, for some reason Twister had both trains running through the course but they were only loading one of them. Anyone know why they would do that?
  15. I gotta say the train that Kentucky Kingdom uses on their Vekoma SLC was the least painful ride I've had on an SLC.
  16. As Alice once said, curiouser and curiouser.
  17. It's the taste. I'm very picky when it comes to how things taste. Anyway, back to discussing Kings Island.
  18. The only water I will ever drink is the stuff that comes from the tap in my parents' house. They have a 300-foot well. Plus, I enjoy drinking Coca-Cola, Mello Yello, and iced tea.
  19. My only issue with Banshee is there's no place to store my souvenir bottle in the station while I ride. The souvenir bottle is literally the only thing I bring into the park that doesn't fit in my pockets. I hate having to spend $2 every time I ride Banshee.
  20. Am I the only one who doesn't mind Wildcat the way it currently is?
  21. Yeah you guys totally never have. Wow. Seriously, way to be a giant arrogant d*ckhead to a guy who works for the park and frankly doesn't deserve a crappy attitude like that. It's responses like that that make me shake my head at some of this "enthusiast" community..... Pete, for what it's worth, I applaud your park for the fantastic effort and hard work you've put into at least getting the ride up and running in some format! It is appreciated, and not all of us share the kind of attitude that the poster above showed. My wife and I are heading to your wonderful looking park for the first time this weekend, and we're very excited!! If we manage to hopefully snag a ride on LR while we're there, that'd be tremendous!
  22. I don't care what people think of me. If a ride scares the bejesus out of me, I'm not getting on it. Drop rides scare the bejesus out of me, so I don't ride them.
  23. With a breakdance ride, the cars are attached to the arms with a hinge or pivot mechanism so they swing or spin as the arms rotate. With a scrambler ride, the cars are fixed to the arms so they can't move separately from the arms. That makes the two rides give completely different experiences.
