Friendzone

T2 at Kentucky Kingdom. The ride would beat you senseless from every direction. I pray that Ed Hart can work his magic on this one.

Flight of Fear at Kings Island. The one at Kings Dominion may not bring the train to a full halt, but this one still pulls the intense positive Gs in the first three inversions that makes you feel like you're upside down at the top of the spaghetti bowl. I also really like Vortex at Kings Island, although I understand the hate. It'll definitely rearrange your spine on a bad day. But the first drop is fun, the loops are forceful, and the corkscrews have really fun hang-time.

Chang at Kentucky Kingdom used to roar so loud you that could hear it everywhere throughout that little park. Not sure if it still has as fierce a roar as Green Lantern. But Incredible Hulk is almost painful to stand under.

I usually weigh several factors: How often do I get to ride this? What is the usual wait time? How much do I like the ride? Is the park busy today?

I've been on Incredible Hulk in a drizzle, but it was still pretty annoying. I've been on Diamondback at night in the rain immediately after the fire works. Steady rain hitting you at 80mph and diving into a cloud of smoke makes for a rather unpleasant experience.

Rides that I'd like to ride again: Tomb Raider:The Ride at King's Island - back when it was themed and actually good) Rainbow at Kentucky Kingdom - it was a fun little family ride and could have greatly added to their line up this year The Quake at Kentucky Kingdom - just because it was fun, but never really open so I hardly ever got the chance to ride it Chaos at Kentucky Kingdom - again, a fun ride that would have greatly added to their line up this year Son of Beast - because kidneys can be replaced Rides I never got to ride: King Cobra at King's Island - only because I chickened out in the station the only chance I ever got to ride it Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg - because it seems like it was a really fun Arrow Suspended coaster Vampire at Kentucky Kingdom - because I've never experienced at true Vekoma boomerang Batman and Robin: The Chiller at Great Adventure Hypersonic XLC

Thunder Run is typically a walk-on during the week. Lightning run is usually no longer than an hour and will get closer and closer to a station wait as the day goes on. It only runs one train during the week though, so the line moves painfully slow.

Banshee is an amazing night ride. If you've already experienced The Beast at night, I would spend some time at Banshee. By night time the line is usually very short and you can get several rides in.

I mean, technically it is necessary since you have to get back to the ride somehow. There's a little path back by the station for quick re-rides, which essentially renders the longer path no longer part of the line.

Thunder Run screeches to a halt and is already halfway back into the station when it does.
