That sounds awesome, every major park in the U.S. probably wants an RMC and now they can make it happen!! I just hope quality doesn't suffer in the process of expanding, sometimes less attention is paid to detail in cases like this

This is why I refuse to ride any of these, the thought of being stuck up high in a chair just doesn't sit well with me lol

Ghostrider already has an amazing layout, topper track would suit it just fine as well as some new trains. I still remember how great the ride was for the first 4-5 years, very sad the last time I rode it and it was absolute garbage.

If I'm not mistaken the biggest problem was the parking situation with the adjacent stadium. Had CF been able to figure a way out of that, no doubt they would've been able to save the park. And AW would've probably gotten at least a couple new coasters out of the deal

You don't have to explain yourself, most people would LOVE to ride a coaster opening day if they had the chance. I'd love to be there to witness the excitement and the unveiling of sorts. Enjoy

Inside the park (Behind Drop Zone), and expect a massive crowd. Damn... thanks. That's not what I wanted to hear. I agree. Viper wasn't bad at all. Vortex is just brutal. Viper is trimmed to death though, it's no where near the ride it was throughout the 90's. I feel like Vortex is much more intense and has a more interesting layout

Looking at the cam, kinda wet/rainy at CP today and their ridiculous rain policy must be in effect. No coasters running at the moment except Mantis

It's amazing how no matter how old these Schwartzkopf coasters get, as long as they're maintained they can be smooth a butter. Anton was so underrated in so many ways

Hmmmmmm I don't see CP spending millions of dollars to replace Mantis' trains when the ride is approaching 20 years old. I may be wrong of course, but it just doesn't seem like CP would get a return on that investment.

The camera angle on the live cam is awesome today! They backed it up so you can see more things going on at once

A mega lite honestly would make a lot more sense at Knott's than at MM since they could actually market it to fit their wider age demo. They could bill it as a "family" coaster, then surprise the hell out of the guests when they ride it

Mega lite please! If MM can put in the low capacity GL, then a mega-lite isn't out of the question considering Intamin and MM are buddies again Yeah I know...wishful thinking *sigh*

This makes sense, I always wondered how Gradv was able to spend so much on Ka and then turn right around and put in Toro the next year. Well there is that mini-zoo behind MF with the goats, turkeys, ducks etc; and there are no shortage of seagulls

Hmmmmmmmm... I guess everyone has different sensations they're sensitive to. Like to me Raptor is much smoother than Mantis, Mean Streak, Gemini, or Magnum. I only remember the cobra roll being uncomfortable on Raptor (I don't really like this element on any ride honestly), the rest of it was pretty smooth considering the ride is 20 years old and in it's orginal state (no slowed lift and only a SLIGHT trim on the MCBR).

I kno Batman at MM makes this weird clattering sound that none of the other Batmen make.

I'd like to see something along the lines if the Dauling Dragons at Happy Valley, maybe with a couple inversions (a dueling interlocking corkscrew? ). That ride looks simply amazing!!

I loved GateKeeper, thought it was the smoothest coaster I've ridden (besides Yolo @ MM) and I really felt a flying sensation while riding. I think these wing coasters are the true "floorless" coasters and had this concept came out in the late 90's-early 00's perhaps people would've appreciated them more.
