I'll be there Monday, July 11th and I'm also curious about how lines are weekdays in the summer. I know these types of posts are always super annoying but I really have no idea. We'll have around 6-8 hours in the park and plan on all the coasters, dark rides and maybe a couple flats--are we looking 15-30 minute waits for marquee rides midday or longer? As for the line skipping option (don't remember the name but not the unlimited more expensive one), I assume this is one ride each and only the front/back option lets you choose a seat? If that's the case we might skip that. Any help is appreciated because I have really no idea how busy Kennywood gets. I have been there other Sundays in July and it was not crowded at all. If Mondays are the same you'll have no problem riding everything. Phantom was only running one train the last 3 times I've been there and it was still only about 20 minutes. Any help on my July 3rd question is also greatly appreciated! -

Going on July 3rd... I'm expecting to wait between 30-40 minutes for each coaster. Is that reasonable or will I be surprised to see how empty it is, or will it be more like 90-120 minutes for everything? We are going to try to get there early to buy the Unlimited VIP coaster tour, but I see on the website they only sell 26 per day so we aren't really banking on that -

^ I would expect 45-60 minutes for MF, Maverick, and TTD. Valravn will be somewhere between 75 and 90 minutes during the day. I don't know if this has been said yet but for the shortest wait on Valravn, RIDE AT THE END OF THE NIGHT! At about 9:30 or quarter till 10, the linew will be no longer than a half hour. -

If it weren't for Firehawk already being at KI, I could definitely see this one happening. -

Well, personally, we weren't having fun on the "tours" because all the a$$hole people ruined it for us, so we are back to having fun again at the parks, and I hope that shows in the TR's! In short, these are REAL trip reports from *US* actually enjoying the parks and having a good time, not just a bunch of "ok, everyone, smile for the camera because I have to put your stupid annoying asses in a report when I get back home..." pictures. Amen to that! Like others have said, I was saving up $ to one day go on one of these tours but I completely understand why they had to be stopped. Amusement Parks are about having fun, not bitching about every little thing. By doing that you're totally missing the point of an amusement park and should definitely find a different hobby. I hope at some point I can talk you into letting me come on one of the tours but seriously... just go out and have fun riding rides and screwing around.

The wind will blow the cables on the towers enough to cause the ride to throw a fault. Ok that makes sense. Thanks! -

I have been to CP a number of times when they have closed Power Tower because of high winds... does anybody know how that ride could possibly be affected by winds?
