Anything? So if they would theoretically relocate the entirety of Lakemont Park where Mean Streak would be, you would take it over a GCI refurbishment? The answer is no. I also want to point out how nobody here is complaining about Cedar Point's amount of roller coasters going down. You know what I meant

I vote anything besides a GCI refurb. I just don't think they can make the ride *that* much better. Plus they would have a hard time marketing that and getting people to ride it... at least the GP. To the GP, a GCI refurb will mean absolutely nothing. In my opinion, the only way to get people to ride whatever is back there is to RMC it and rename it, or tear it down and start from scratch with a brand new ride.

It was announced on a video on Twitter. The only thing it announced was that mean Streak is "getting the axe" on September 16th.

Count me on the Iron Horse side of the argument. The possibilities are crazy.

Heads up to anybody going to the park this morning. Traffic is backed up to castaway Bay to get on the causeway. Not sure if the causeway is blocked off or what... *edit* causeway is down to one lane for part of the way. Not many people in the parking lot.

New update... seems to me like they are going to try to open, even though it might be later than the scheduled opening time.

^^ Damn... I hope it works out for you. I'm sure they'd give you your money back if you call whenever they reopen (assuming that they don't open tomorrow).

2 years ago... the day after Coastermania. Totally agree with you about Sandusky though. This has to be infuriating for Cedar Point.

I was there last monday and after it tested a bit they just parked it out there the rest of the day. It has probably been out there since.

I really doubt that'll happen... although it would be pretty cool.
