Is ripcord on there? I can't really tell. -
What "seriously depends on how much longer the park is planning on having this coaster"? What are you talking about? And how will the name impact the ride experience in any way? They could give it a completely asinine and terrible name like "Blue Hawk 91" or "Big blue loopy thing" or "Mystic Timbers" and I wouldn't care because it wouldn't impact the ride experience in any way, shape or form.

If they don't open some coasters after watching the success that Six Flags is having with Holiday in the Park then they deserve to fail. Very true.... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. -

I guess my point is that if they don't appeal to people from a little further away, that might make winterfest a total bust and a loss of money, making them cut it off after a year or two like last time. -

Wait sorry if I've missed this but is there any live stream going on of the announcement? -

Well here's a good example, I'm from Cleveland and without any real rides running, I see no reason to make the trip down there. As it has been announced, it will only really appeal to anybody living in Cincinnati and the surrounding suburbs. I can see Christmas lights and ride a merry-go-round at places that are within 10 minutes from my house.... why should I drive 3.5 hours for pretty much the same thing. Just my 2 cents -

I don't think they gave it enough time to "catch" on, Christmas is all about tradition, giving something 1 year to "make it big", isn't allowing you to build the tradition. I thought it was fantastic when I went the last time it was going, was hoping to make it a tradition with my family, unfortunately that was cut short. Hopefully it catches on bigger and they decide to keep it around. I guess too that we may see plans change between now and November of 2017. They may decide between now and then to get a few rides up and running. -

I so want to agree with you but then again, I *really* don't want to get my hopes up, only to be let down... Just 32 more minutes till the announcement! -

I find it interesting that there is seemingly nothing new on the RipCord side of Magnum.... -

In other news, CP's instagram is full of butt hurt CP fanboys complaining that it's not an RMC... It's actually quite funny to read. -

I'm pretty regular to CP (I've been about 20 times this year) and Valravn has operated every single time I've been there for at least 2/3 of the day. Yes it has also broken down for a little while each time but nothing that has kept it down for any lengthy period of time. -

There's a forum for dumbest things TPR members have said... this belongs there.... unless you were speaking of another website. -

I never said they didn't care. I have no doubt that they'll have a ton of 150th anniversary merchandise for sale and probably some cool promotions and events but none of this guarantees a new coaster or major ride. Absolutely this. -

Almost any holiday/holiday weekend is crazy busy at Kings Island. However, there is always the option of buying a fast lane pass, which would allow you to get on more rides than if you chose to wait out the lines with the rest of the crowd. I know the weekend is but how about the actual day of Labor day? If CP is any indication, CP is always pretty empty. Wondering if KI is the same way. -

Only SIX could do something as boneheaded as that. Six Flags is sinking even lower than that... They're adding VR to an SLC. That makes me cringe. -

Just booked a labor day weekend trip to the park from Cleveland. This will be our second try to get on Lightning Rod. Our hotel has free cancellation until Thursday the first at 6 pm. Any updates on if Lightning Rod is running or not on any given day is really appreciated. This trip is solely for Lightning Rod (and Cinnamon Bread) since we were already there for 2 full days a month ago. -

They haven't announced anything about Beast... I would assume it's just a mechanical issue. Sucks it was closed all day though. -

OOPS! You're right. I DID go Saturday, but wrote Sunday by mistake. I edited my TR to fix that. Thanks! Haha no problem! I thought Saturday made more sense with the weather that you described. Gotta love the weather at Cedar Point
