Was at the park today. As stated, nothing going on by mean Streak. Not surprisingly though. The trains are still in the storage area as well. The park was shockingly dead. We aren't big haunt people but did Eden Musee and it was actually really good! Many scare actors. The longest we waited was 15 minutes for Maverick. Everything else was about 5 minutes, including Valravn. Can't wait for 2 more trips next weekend!

Sorry to be blunt but, downtime aside, maybe it won best new ride because it is the best new ride.

It's because a majority of parents are dumb therefore they bring their 3 year olds to a haunt event. When there are no rides open for the little ones, the parents complain and complain, and finally the park decides it's better to close some mid-tier rides than it is to have bitchy parents at guest services.

Wow I'm pretty surprised Rougarou will be closed. It really won't manage manyour full trains though so I guess I can see their point. Kinda bums me out though because I always love a ride or two on Rougarou every visit. I would try to go a different day or get fastlane. Saturdays are nuts.

The only food I had at the food truck festival was the burger at the Fire truck place. That was damn near the best burger I've ever had. Hope the festival comes back next year.

Mean Streak Henry and the other guys he was with are all great guys. Henry is always willing to talk. They're definitely not part of the "bad" group of nerds that were discussed. Can you imagine for a moment riding Mean Streak 16000 times in the last 25 years?

I don't personally think it's a coaster but since the park counts it as a coaster I will gladly take the credit! I too think it's a good ride!

I don't know about the front but I'm almost positive that the themeing on the back is gone.
