  1. Could be. The forecast is not good for tomorrow either so I am thinking of heading down to KI instead and save my first CP trip for next week. You never really know with the forecast up here. It could say that tomorrow will be crap but then it'll end up being beautiful like today or it could be the opposite. A day at KI isn't a bad alternative either.
  2. ^^ looking at the webcams the park looked kinda dead today... I wonder if the threat of rain (that never really came... at least in Cleveland) made some people think twice about going today.
  3. It's truly fun to watch how many Gatekeeper trains they can continuously crank out. When I was there on Sunday they were cranking trains out so fast that sometimes the trains didn't stop moving. It was crazy.
  4. First off, at that point in the year the park will be packed no matter the day you go so it's good that you're getting fastlane plus. As far as fastlane yes. You can ride whenever you want. Sometimes the fastlane line can be around 15-30 minutes for certain rides like millie, Maverick, TTD, and probably Valravn. They don't give any certain time to come back. You get in line whenever you want. Hope this helped!
  5. Valravn back row right end on Sunday. Such a good ride.
  6. I found it funny that while I was walking up the steps of that really large pod slide at kentucky kingdom (can't remember the name of it at the moment) I could see a Holiday World billboard in the distance.
  7. Cedar Fair takes such good care of their woodies (or tries to *cough* mean streak *cough*) that I wouldn't be concerned about the KI GCI ever getting rough.
  8. Ahhhhh let the speculation begin. But seriously.... as long as it's not the flume or mindbender I'll be happy although shutting down GASM for an RMC conversion would kinda disappoint me because I've never ridden it but I am making my first ever trip to the park later in the summer.
  9. Just curious, what parks are you guys planning on visiting this trip? I've really enjoyed this TR so far!
  10. ^ that looks awesome! I hope you're right!
  11. This 100000x that ride looks amazing.
  12. This is definitely the most active this thread has been in a while
  13. If it's like prowler then I'm all for it. I've heard nothing but great things about Prowler but have never gotten the chance to ride it. Hopefully this is true because it would be awesome to have a GCI a little closer to home.
  14. Thats just because Raptor is at the front of the park. If you look at the webcams they are showing the parking lot right now and it looks like it's really not very crowded at all.
  15. Also, it was open on Fridays last year during Halloweekends. This year it seems they only have 2 trains as I have not seen the red train anywhere yet.
  16. Id go with HW... nothing against KK which is a great little park. HW was the best overall amusement park I've ever been to. The experience HW gives is unmatched by anyone.
  17. My experience in my 100+ rides on GK is that it's very smooth if the train is full, but if the train is half empty it's dreadfully rough.
  18. People being giant pansies. I kinda want Togo to have a resurgence in America so these people would properly understand what "rough" means. Having been on a few Togo's, that is a whole different type of rough. People like to get pissy when you talk about B&M's being rough, but those people also need to realize we are not talking Son of Beast or Togo rough here... A vibration is a very obnoxious and disruptive sensation on these rides. It’s not about slamming your head around and making your ears bleed. No, in that sense, Banshee is butter smooth. But when at the bottom of every drop the train vibrates severely it makes the ride far less enjoyable. I will admit I am the last one to ever say anything about a "rattle", and most of the rides people complain most about I shrug off or don’t care. But Banshee was a whole different story the two nights this past weekend we rode it (Row 2 middle, Row 7 Right and Row 4 right). It just doesn’t feel like any other B&M I have been on and wasn’t isolated spots of a vibration, it was at the bottom of every drop and very intense at that. For those who have not been on it this year, don’t try to pass this off like we are all exaggerating… Wait until you ride it (if they don’t do some type of maintenance up until that point on the chassis) and then offer your opinion. It’s bad. Not like any other B&M “rattle” I have experienced.
  19. For me, this describes my ride experience in any other seat besides the back. Front row in particular has a noticeable rattle on the end seats for me but still completely bearable. Back row though... that's a different story. Ugh
  20. You should be fine especially if you get there at opening. Ride Firehawk, FoF, and Invertigo first then go to Diamondback and Beast. Banshee's crew hauls a$$ so that line will never be above 45 minutes.
  21. Any reports on the bug situation on Valravn yet?
