I'm starting to get really excited for this coaster, if all goes right then I should be able to ride this next year!

Motocoaster at Darien Lake, I rode it for the credit. Great for kids but not exciting enough for me.

Intamin - I305 B&M - Raptor

My love for coasters started at age 7 when us in Cleveland just got the brand new Six Flags Ohio and Batman: Knight Flight. Up to that point I had ridden other coasters there but that one made me fall in love with them! at Age 9 going to Disney world I persuaded my parents to skip a day at Disney so I could ride Dueling Dragons & The Hulk. At age 11 my mom & I were watching travel channel and they showed the tallest & fastest wooden roller coaster that had a loop only 3 and a half hours away at Kings Island and got my whole family to go and ride Son of Beast. Now in my 20's all my vacation time goes to heading out to amusement parks and riding some more coasters!

Thanks everybody, tomorrow morning I'll try and get our FP+ situation worked out with the old tickets. Hopefully that's a success then on Thursday I'm heading over to my parents house for my mom, sister & I to formulate a game plan, and pick where we'll use FP+. I know what attractions I want to do, I just have to find out what they want to do (they're unsure at the moment) and try to set some realistic goals on what can be accomplished in one day. Depending what my mom & sister want to do I may break off for them to get some more thrill rides in and utilize those single rider lines!

Thank you guys so much, the FP+ situation I'll hopefully have worked out tomorrow. I'm going to ask my Mom & Sister what attractions they want to do the most and make a game plan based off what you both have suggested. I'm all in for the big rides where my mom is not as much. I really appreciate all the help!

huh A few pages back there was speculation that with the theater being removed and the possible removal of employee housing on the peninsula that there would be room for a GCI woodie. This is just speculation. I believe he's saying that if Mean Streak were to get the Iron Horse treatment then a GCI could fill that gap created by the loss of a wooden coaster.

Our last trip to Orlando was a full week in 2002 with my parents, sister & I. This trip is going to be just my Mom, sister & I. Instead of going to all the Disney Parks in '02 we decided to skip Animal Kingdom and go to Universal/IOA instead. That's how we have these old leftover tickets. My personal agenda is to ride Dragon Challenge, Hulk, & Spider Man at IOA. Tower of Terror & Rock "n" Roller Coaster at Disney. If I get these in I'll deem it a successful trip.

^ & ^^ Thanks guys. Your advise is helping me dial in what to expect next weekend. Also should I assume Universal and IOA are going to have heavy crowds also?

Thanks Robb, we have a weird situation with our tickets, we have left over tickets that we originally purchased in 2002 (back when they never expired, we called Disney today to check, they're still valid) and we're going to be using those for admission. Hopefully there's some way we can get FP+ reserved beforehand since we're not buying online. I'm going to look into this a little further.

Hello all TPR members I need your help. My mom decided last minute today we're heading down to Orlando for 1 day of Universal/IOA on December 12th & 1 day of Disney on December 13th leaving us only 12 days to prepare. I have a few questions. How are crowds this time of year? Should we expect to get a decent amount of rides in or wait in line most of the day? Our strategy for Universal/ IOA is just to hit the best or "highlights" of the parks since you can't do it all in just one day. What are the best attractions? Our tentative plan for Saturday the 13th is to start the morning at Animal Kingdom, then hop to Hollywood Studios, then Magic Kingdom. Is this realistic given the time of year? Or should we try a different order? I'm sure i'm overlooking a few things, we're open to any suggestions and/or strategies you all would have for tackling these parks in just two days.

My Home Park is Cedar Point, I went 15 times this year about once every 3 weeks. I believe about half of those times I went with different groups of friends that go just once a year. The other half I'll just go solo and take in the atmosphere and have fun riding rides. I feel lucky because Cedar Point doesn't ever get old as a home park.

I'm very excited to see that Kings Island is hosting their own event. Banshee Bash was such a great time. I'd love to head out and do it all over again!

Wow that SFX coaster is something else. I really one comes to North America in the upcoming years.

The biggest surprise for me today is seeing the Games-U-Ride in action on video. I never spend money on games when I'm in a park, but games like these I'll definitely have to try!

^Agreed. I've never heard of ZDT's amusement park until today. But now that this coaster is going up, whenever I make it out to Texas in the future I'll make sure to stop by and ride this.

As with everybody else, I'm very impressed. When this opens I will be taking a trip down to Florida.

This was a great TR, It's really cool that you did all these parks in just one weekend. I hope Conneaut survives, Blue Streak is a great coaster i'd be sad to see gone.

2014 First: Banshee on April 17th Last: Raptor on November 2nd It was a great season!

I went on Sunday and like stated above the weather was beautiful! I rode all the coasters minus Blue Streak & the kiddie ones. My last ride of the season was Raptor.

Cedar Point, I love riding coasters all day.

1992! 3. Eagle Fortress 2. Drachen Fire 1. Batman: The Ride Only 1 of 3 still operating and I've realized that I haven't ridden any coasters from '92 yet!

Darien Lake for sure, I went earlier this year and it was the definition of bland. No music playing in the park, and all the employees lacked enthusiasm. I got to the park and 10AM and was out by 2:30 because there was really nothing to do there.
