Carowinds Discussion Thread

^I have a feeling that that is sarcasm. Fury 325 is at the top of my to-do list next year at Carowinds, but I am very eager to try the new food offerings. Chickie's and Pete's was great, I hope Carowinds continues to improve the dining experience for guests. -

I'm glad that I can say that I looked through all of the facebook comments related to this attraction and NONE of them were negative. That's not an exaggeration. Comments ranged from "looks pretty cool" to "awesome!." It feels good looking through comments and not seeing everyone whine about a new attraction. I just hope I didn't jinx anything.

I hope they get to that heart-line design thing soon. I've heard a couple of explanations on TPR, but I want to hear the park tell me how it's done. -
I have had lots of bad experiences in the Intimidator line during SCarowinds. Incident 1: there's a couple a few feet in front of us and the guy starts diggin' for gold. He just keeps doing it and doing it. When he finished, he started making out with his girlfriend. Now I can't remember if he ate it or not, but it was one of the most disgusting things I'd ever seen. It's kind of funny, but too gross to be hilarious. Incident 2: I remember some guy who was on the train on the break run, and he flicked everyone in line off. I don't think enough people noticed it, but it was pretty rude. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Incident 3: I was in Bondi Beach in Boomerang Bay and the waves started coming. As I made my way to the side of the pool, this teenage girl (who had floaties on) started to drown me! She couldn't swim well, so she grabbed onto my head and used me like I was a life buoy. I was under water for a good 3-4 seconds.

I saw Big Hero 6, so here's my review! I LOVED it! Baymax is probably my favorite of the characters. I'm glad Disney moved away from all of the musicals. Frozen was good, but it was a bit over-hyped. I like how Disney moved away from the "Prince Charming" theme that was in almost every movie. Frozen felt redundant, because it was still basically a musical. I know that Big Hero 6 is technically a Marvel comic, but it was nice to get away from all the music. I like that Disney tried something different. If there's one complaint I have, it's that the characters are built around loss. In almost every Disney movie, someone has to die. I don't want to spoil it for you, but expect someone to die. It would be nice to see Disney deal with another sad topic, like a 1940's movie where the main character has Polio. Other than that, GREAT movie.

Announcing "Skyline Attractions"

Looks fun, but the capacity looks really low, so it'd have to be an extra pay attraction. -
What is your favorite Roller Coaster?

My favorite woodies: 1. 2. If only we'd gone to Dollywood while we were in Tennessee, my favorite woodie would be:
