  1. It's in spanish, but it's in this article on PAC. It basically says that between 2010 and 2014, the park has gone from having 600.000 annual visitors to 1.6 million and are wanting to open up to an even more international market, similar to PortAventura. It also says that there are expansions currently in progress (including an on site hotel and new attraction) for 2017.
  2. ^While it would be fun, i think Stampida has a good enough layout as is (after the retracking at least). I'd love for either Coaster Express or Magnus Colossus though to get I-Boxed though. With the expansions coming for Parque Warner, I have fingers crossed.
  3. I remember riding it at the start of the season last year, and I don't really remember it being too bad (still rough, but not as rough as it has been), though I imagine that was down to it only recently opening. With the fact they were closing seats on the train towards the end of last year, I would have throught they had maybe tried to hold out till the end of the year to get new trains (Ideally skyrush style ones), but given they have these new promo videos going out with the old train gives me less faith that could happen.
  4. ^it looks on par with Heaven and Nefeskesen.
  5. Also, the tilt coasters don't go to 90º.
  6. I imagine that since they are using the 4 across trains instead of the long ones, B&M are able to use a similar shaped drop to the one on the Giga's allowing it to be much steeper than normal.
  7. Confirmation that Stampida is getting even further retracked
  8. Since it's RCS, I'd give them a month (and a half at a stretch) and the coaster is done.
  9. Current status of the supports. yellow = built. https://www.instagram.com/wildfirekolmarden/ Judging by the what the supports/footers look like in this pic for the lift/drop, I feel there's another surprise heading our way.
  10. Or potentially just supports for the catwalks?
  11. Personally, I wouldn't say I was a fan of their music, but I do recognise Lemmy as the icon he is, and I was genuinly shocked when the news broke yesterday. It truly felt like he was going to just keep on living. RIP Lemmy
  12. Aside for the Intamin double launch thing, I've also been making a Flying Aces coaster, and I've been in the middle of doing night time lighting for the ride.
  13. I may be a little biased but I've always loved PA's skyline.
  14. Assuming nothing comes up (concerts), I'll probabaly be going to Alton Towers in April
  15. I've been working on an Intamin big loop, double launch, backwards spike thing similar to the one showing up at one of the Wanda parks in China, this is how far I've got with the layout The one behind is a previous version that I'm keeping so I don't end up deleting and forgetting what my backwards spike structure is supposed to look like.
  16. Arrow - El Diablo ( PortAventura) B&M -Dragon khan (PortAventura) CCI - Stampida (PortAventura) GCI - Wodan (Europa Park) Gerstlauer - Speed: No Limits (Oakwood) Intamin - Furius Baco (PortAventura) Mack Rides - Avalanche (Blackpool Pleasure Beach) Maurer AG - Abismo (Parque Atracciones Madrid) RCCA - Coaster Express (Parque Warner) Schwarzkopf - 7 Picos (Parque Atracciones Madrid) S&S Worldwide - Timber Drop (Fraispertuis City) Vekoma - Tami tami (PortAventura) Zierer - Treetops Rollercoaster (oakwood)
  17. That just sums up most modern B&M's, doesn't it?
  18. I love how the new TTD paint job is so bright it makes it look like it's cgi.
  19. I haven't though I have felt woozy and like I might throw up, but thankfully nothing has come up.
  20. I could see it. That roll already pulls you out of your seat when you go through it normally and I could imagine it getting more intense sitting at a right angle. Though -2.3g? that seems less fun and more painful.
  21. Robototron - Evil Scarecrow Amazing band, easily one of the best I've seen.
  22. So the raptor track is basically an RMC Megalite ... sounds like heaven.
  23. When I saw the image with the spinning car on Blue Fire, the first thing I thought was how painful the roll at the end of the ride could be if the car was facing the wrong direction.
  24. Worst theme park related queue was for Sea Odyssey at PortAventura in 2007. Waited 2 hours (and this was in the express queue), it wouldn't have been this long, but the ride was up and down the entire time. Best thing of this 2 hour wait was that just before we were actually going to ride, the doors from the pre-ride area to the ride opened in the middle of the last ride cycle, so it gave as a good off ride view of the ride in motion. They closed the ride about 10 minutes after we rode, and it was then down for the rest of the weekend. Worst queue ever was at a music festival I was at this year. They had brought in a new cashless system which meant you could top up a pre paid amount of money onto a tag that was attached to your wristband that they gave you at the festival, and it didn't work quite well at the start for everybody. I had to wait in a 5 hour queue because the money I had topped up online hadn't got transferred onto my tag.
  25. The patent number on the Mini T-rex is the same as what's on the board for the full size one, so it's some variation of the T-rex track. Maybe it's Hulk's new track... /s
