**(Imagine I'm a normal USA TPR Member, who decided to make a South American Trip, so this would be a Photo TR)** I decided to make a trip to Chile with some friends, that are also members of TPR, I was told there was a nice park that worth the visit so I decided to make the trip. Santiago- Well, it's a beautiful city, lots of culture and the people it's nice. You should visit it if you have a chance. Its similar to Buenos Aires, but, in some kind of way, it's safer (and cleaner), though. The night in Sanhattan (the Chilean version of Manhattan lol) was wonderful and we had a lot of fun! Chile has 2 "highlights" parks, the two are one of the best on South America. One of them was Fantasilandia, the oldest of Latin America since Playcenter closed I think (It was opened in 1978), without doubt, it's a great park, with a great line-up of flat rides, with classic, and new attractions, the day in Fantasilandia was incredible. In the other hand, you got Everland Amusement Park, which is one of the newest parks on South America, this park has a nice layout, the park has some mountains behind, which makes the entire experience more beautiful! the park has 3 credits to offer, each of them are good, quality coasters. Its curious that Fantasilandia and Everland have many flat rides in common. Also, every coaster at Everland has good airtime! I hope you enjoy the Photo TR "Everland" sounds like a asian park lol. The park is located on the outskirts of Santiago This is what you see when you enter the park the park itself its beautiful! It doesnt have theming, but the natural environment does all Shot0059.bmp The Disk'O was closed when we got here Shot0060.bmp Bathrooms next to the Disk'O Shot0061.bmp Cute little Ferris Wheel Shot0063.bmp This Intamin Gyro Drop had some awesome views! Shot0064.bmp This Octopus ride originally operated in Fantasilandia, but it was relocated to Everland Shot0065.bmp As I said, the park has some mountains behind so this makes it extra beautiful! Shot0066.bmp This is one of the two restaurants. This one its located up the hill, right next to the stairs Shot0067.bmp I'm watching some kiddie flats over there! Top Spin credit. It was fun, though A classic Shot0072.bmp Yay! Tagada fun Hey, what am I watching in the backround? Shot0074.bmp This was the first credit we rode, cool little Maurer Söhne launch coaster Good way to start the thrills Shot0076.bmp Here's the other restaurant more bathrooms (behind the trees) Wee! Gift Shop! and a Huss Condor Nice ride! It's curious, we saw one in Fantasilandia too, but that one was a lot more themed than this one Shot0082.bmp There's the Vekoma! This is a coaster for everyone. It's twisty, beautiful, and has some good airtime The coaster its called Blazer, and, as I said, its TWISTY! I loved this coaster, but do you know what I liked more? That B&M beauty in the back Shot0087.bmp Yup, a B&M invert. Its called Odin, and its one of the BEST inverted coasters that I've ever ridden. It has an awesome layout, and its also twisty and has some SWEET airtime!! The drop was pretty cool, I prefer the drops on inverts to be straight down, rather than curved drops The park owners let me take photos of the coaster, in restricted areas, that was pretty awesome too The posiive and negative Gs on this coaster were enough to almost making me to greyout, at least in 2 parts of the ride Shot0090.bmp Gotta love that layout By far, maybe scariest part of the ride (also the first drop is very scary) But this part freaked me out. Imagine to hit a MCBR and then, when you think everything is cool, you go straight down, underground, to go directly to an Immelmann. Its a rush Shot0092.bmp LOOPTY LOOP! Shot0093.bmp Also this part got me. Right after the loop you go through a hill, and then you hit the floor, immediately pass throungh a flat spin, and underground again Shot0094.bmp The Gs on this part almost make me greyout too Shot0095.bmp Last turn Operator says hi! The Disk'O ride opened around 4:00pm, its a popular ride in the park For some strange reason, this restaurant was very busy... ...While this one was empty Well, it was late, and I was getting cold so I put more clothes on. I saw a little kid going out from the Twist 'n' Splash, and his mom was pissed off, poor child, he got in trouble :-/ They started to turn the lights on Shot0100.bmp I took some photos of the park at night, hope you like it: I'm in love with this ride, so much fun! Shot0103.bmp Shot0112.bmp Goodbye Everland Amusement Park! Shot0097.bmp TPR Members say hi!

Insane Coaster Wars Season 3
coasterschile replied to CPSFMMCW's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Could be great to see one episode about the old woodies (the ones that were built before the 1960's) so the show wouldn't be only about the tallest or fastest, because there are lots of good coasters that maybe we are never going to see on TV just because they arent from Flags, Cedar Point, or a SeaWorld park. So it kinda makes me sick to see the same big parks getting all the credit -

Vekoma's MK1212
coasterschile replied to coasterschile's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would like to see the vekoma mega looper (the one that is on the website) that could be interesting but I still like more the old vekoma mk1212 track than the new one -

Vekoma's MK1212
coasterschile replied to coasterschile's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^I agree! I think Vekoma loopers could fit perfectly in a medium size theme park, that hasnt got much rollercoasters (parks that are not owned by Cedar Fair/Six Flags) I love the old fashioned coasters so I would love to see a modern/smooth version of the old coasters, with the same type of track, but a better ride experience -
I think Vekoma could do a good job making a smooth MK1212, or at least that's what I think. I think Millenium it's a good coaster, but I dont like much the layout but it seems it's so smooth. I would like to see another Black Hole Express (Kumodori Land)

Stand Up Revival?
coasterschile replied to 11slataus's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I like standup coasters, I'm not saying that I'm a fan but I like them. Remember Georgia Scorcher, was the last StandUp that B&M ever built, and is the smoother one (its the best because Green Lantern and Riddlers Revenge are bigger. StandUp's are enjoyable if you adjust them right. I would love to see more StandUp coasters, maybe not some big ones, but the size of Georgia Scorcher, Vortex (Carowinds), etc. It will be good for medium parks (like south american ones, or like the ones that aren't from Cedar Fair/Six Flags) I think that B&M could do a great job with StandUp coasters -

coasterschile replied to rcjp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It really wasn't a full greyout, but It was sort of. It was on Raptor (Vekoma SLC) And I was very surprised -
Fantasilandia 2014 new ride
coasterschile posted a topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, 4 days ago I went back to Fantasilandia to ride the new 2014 ride. Awesome ride! It's a Mack Rides Twist'n'Splash. It was a nice addition to the park's flat rides collection I rode it with my friends (5 times) and it was really fun! (better than I though) It's called The Pirate's Revenge and its well themed (Fantasilandia usually doesn't bring themed rides, so it was a nice family ride, we got really wet! (last year ride was a Zamperla Air Race) Also, Fantasilandia opened a new restaurant As I said, the ride is well themed Awesome water ride Some of my friends. There was no line so we got on and on like 3 times in a row I love this shot This is the new restaurant. Nice Good family restaurant, It's located in front of the Air Race It reminds me of Disney a bit (sorry if I'm wrong, I haven't been on Disney since long ago) Well that was my report, and now I leave you with a photo of the famous Tagada' ride view of the restaurant from the Air Race :3 -

Awesome pics! -
A few weeks ago I went to a park that is near my house with a friend and a cousin. The park is called Mampato, and is located on the very edge of Lo Barnechea (a zone in Santiago) The park is principally focused on kids, so if you have a little son/daughter/kids and you bring them to Chile, they would have fun in here . The park was desert that day, almost no people. here's the entrance of the park It's a small little outdoor park, with classic fair-attractions Birthday Huts! This park is a little obssesed with birthdays... Dolphins! And Trycicles! Wait. Is that a trycicle gasoline station?! Cool. It also has the brand of a real gas stations! Well done, Terpel, you've created Trycicle gasoline! You'll be a millionare company now. Kids will go nuts when they hear that the price of trycicle gasoline increased by 10% And a trycicle tunnel?! I need to ride a trycicle, right now! ahh Rueda Panoramica, fun ride but, I almost lost my bag. When I rode this I let the bag off, and told the operator to keep it. Well, when I was riding, one of the operator put the bag on one of the cars of the ride, when I went off the ride the operator told me that I had to guess on which car it was. Finally I got my bag back and they told me that they weren't responsible about my stuff, but hey, they manipulated my bag so if I lost it, maybe they could be fired now. So here's the thing: keep your thing with you all the time when you're at this park. Here's the inflatables, in this place there was a Tagada, but Mampato took it off for some time, it will be back again soon. Mampato always does that with the Samba ride (Tagada) also there was a swinging viking ship that put riders upside-down, but Mampato also took it off for some time Oh, here's the "Mini-mini-mini-Jr.-Jr. Splash" Oh, that drop...I feel goosebumps everytime I see it Sqlooshi Sqlooosh! (sorry for copying your word, Robb) Ohhh dat log, it reminds me to go to the bathroom (just ignore that comment) The food was ok Ou la laa! Popcorn! Here it is, CASA DEL TERROOOR! A haunted House dark ride When I was a little kid I used to get soo scared on this, but now it was funny, though. Bumper Cars! Awesome traditional ride here in Mampato. I was an hour riding it because the park was desert so we could get on and on without getting out. One hour riding it, that's my record of riding Bumper Cars Well, I rode it 1 hour, but my friend and my cousin where 2 hours on it! (I can believe that they didn't got bored) While I was the hour alone walking through the park I took all the photos for this TR Here's the credit. A Wacky Worm coaster, pretty original, don't you think? It was actually fun, and relaxing. I didn't rode a coaster for a long time so I was very happy to go on Happy Mountain (ironic? neh) Weeee! Everyone having fun CAM01159.mp4 Here's the super dooper POV This was a fun slide, had some pretty good airtime when I took this particular photo, I noticed that I lost my wallet This was necessary for this summer days when it's really hot in Santiago, because the climate here is dry Zamperla drop tower! Pretty fun ride. Let's see the views that this baby offers Nice view of the landscape Well my house is somewhere behind the buildings over there WTF?! A giant pedo Santa Claus in one of the entrances? I can see a tiny animal train over there. Kinda cute, though And I also can see my legs! (And the bag that I almost had stolen) There's also a sea lion with guacamayos (birds) show! One of the main attractions Nice Zamperla family ride And a Telecombat ride! Weeeee! Also when you enter the park, instead of buying a ticket, you buy a wristband (with lots of ponys) Thanks for watching this Photo TR! PD: The park has more rides than the ones that I showed you, but my cellphone doesn't have enough memory
