  1. -Opened in 1983. -Used PTC trains. -Originally had a longer/taller drop. Next: Manta - SeaWorld Orlando
  2. I think asking for a waterpark expansion and a coaster in the same year might be a bit of a stretch. Maybe a coaster and a slingshot together would be more likely. By the way, did Ouimet or Cedar Fair ever say how much would be invested in Valleyfair in the near future? We already know the amount for Carowinds is $50 million, and if we knew VF's amount, that could tell us what coaster options are most realistic.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there one year where they waited until February or March to announce?
  4. I've seen a few episodes of this show already. I guess it's okay. I'd probably consider on par with Insane Coaster Wars. They do show some nice parks and great rides, but you can tell that some of the "enthusiasts" on this show are really GPs. I know that these shows are meant for the GP more than enthusiasts, but still, you think they'd choose people that are slightly more knowledgeable about the coasters. Although, I noticed in the segment about Busch Gardens Williamsburg that someone might have given a shout-out to Robb. The guy that was riding Griffon with the host said "I feel like Robb. I feel the rush of air, and I let out a scream." I wonder if he's a user on this site.
  5. Granted, but you'll be stuck in 2014 forever. I wish my local movie theater had better customer service.
  6. It's 2015... Where's my hoverboard?
  7. -Designed by John Allen. -Broke records when it opened. -Out-and-back style layout. Next: Goliath - Six Flags Great America
  8. ...when you're at an airport and see an American Eagle plane (American Airlines' regional carrier), you automatically think of the roller coaster of the same name at SFGAm.
  9. False. I'm looking forward to seeing what 2015 has in store. The person below me will be riding a "new for 2015" coaster this year.
  10. Because the weather doesn't want you to ride the alpine coaster. Why hasn't Valleyfair gotten a new coaster since 2007?
  11. Six Flags Magic Mountain
  12. Last TPR post of 2014. Happy New Year to all of you!
  13. -B&M hypercoaster -Opened in 2002 -239 ft tall -Top speed of 78.9 mph Next: Kraken - SeaWorld Orlando
  14. Granted, but one of those days you're forced to do nothing but schoolwork. I wish midnight would come faster.
  15. The thing that's making me a bit skeptical about a 2016 coaster is that I've yet to hear any official big rumors about a coaster. Then again, there is still plenty of time, plus I've seen a few things on this thread that could point to a coaster. If we are getting one, we'll probably start seeing some land clearing in May or June. Welcome to TPR!
  16. Making some more progress here.
  17. Hospital
  18. ^ Regular makes you wait as long as everyone else but not in line. Gold cuts normal wait time in half with no waiting in line. Platinum reduces wait time by 90% (ex. 100 minute wait time, you ride in 10 minutes) and you get to reride without changing seats. Goliath is only available on the Platinum level, and I don't think they allow rerides on Goliath and V2.
  19. Wild Thing - Valleyfair
  20. ^ Not completely sure, but I think it's $55 for Regular, $80 for Gold, and $115 for Platinum (please correct me if I'm wrong). I would at least buy the Gold level Flash Pass because Regular really won't do much for you.
  21. Granted, instead they install a bunch of kiddie rides. I wish Cedar Point would get rid of Mean Streak and build an RMC woodie from scratch.
  22. Neighborhood
