A clone of Epcot's boat ride perhaps? Although I'd love to see Tokyo do something with the technology of Shanghai's Pirates ride. Perhaps that will be for Rapunzel's boat ride. Its is extremely unlikely that this new ride will be a clone of the ride in EPCOT. Not that it couldn't be the same ride system, but to build a clone, when you have the ability to make it better seems unlikely. Also....this is Japan...it will be done better. LOL

Some art shows the ride ending inside a new "Red Tube" and some art doesn't show that area being enclosed. And there has been no official talk about how the ride will end (and there usually never is). So, we'll have to wait and see in regards to that.

I have not played this game in a LONG time...but I think I want to go nuke Krustyland... LOL

I really have to wonder, what corners were cut during the Tower of Terror construction. I still an shocked that there are chunks of the facade falling off the ride. And now the foundation issues with Ratatouille. DLP just can't get a break.

Every time I got to a media shoot, I always check my email one last time before I leave the house. Just for this reason. Stuff gets canceled all the time with this type of thing. So, I went right back to bed! Haha. Glad it worked out in the end.

I have it on good authority, that all the dinos are being replaced by screens, and they are adding water sprays through the ride. As well, they will add 3D glasses and a virtual queue, with additional screens. Plus, a new Kong screen, for synergy. Since the Kong attraction(s) feature Dinosaurs. EDIT: To be clear, this is a joke...

The Disney website says late June, so that's what it will be. Beyond that, there has been no actual opening date announced. I would plan on not seeing it, unfortunately.

Found the art you mentioned, it could be fan art, but it also seems weird if it is. Because some things that were changed seem odd, like the new hut, and added mountain. Guess we'll know for sure when ever it opens! I can not find the universal announcement though.

I will still hold out hope. Reason is, it was completely obvious that the parking lot area was NOT going to be a third park. And was ALWAYS going to be expansion/parking for the 2 existing parks. So, this really inst anything new; I'd guess just people realizing what makes the most sense.

I seemed to have missed where a Mad House is an option to replace this ride. Also....who even wants a Mad House these days, lol. Let alone this park.

I love Thunder Coaster so much! Its my favorite ride in the park. I am so happy to see it getting some love!!

I was told that from park staff, at Knott's. Maybe they only sent parts and such for spares? Hmmmm, maybe? lol But, I wonder what happened to the knott one!

It's a regular day, as opposed to a value day. So, that tells me it will be more crowded. Its also the first Sunday of the new Pixar Fest promotion, so it's likely going to be quite busy. But, really, if its the Matterhorn that matters to you, you're going to do it anyways, haha. When you get there, if you think the lines are long, you could always purchase Max Pass and that will slightly help you get on more rides.

I am interested to see how they incorporate the show building into the area. Because its definitely going to be see based on that pic! We never received concept art did we?
