Thats so cool. I did see the picture of the room, but honestly thought it was just theming that you walked past or something. HAHAHA.

This looks so cool! Also, I totally though the Hotel was fake, and just provided the theming for F.L.Y... but it is actually a real hotel, of some sort according to their website. Seems like it might be a boutique hotel, with a very small number of rooms.

^Well, that's dumb! If the DMV is issuing temporary licencees, they should be valid for everything if alongside the expired one.

Honestly, that is going to be up to the individual employee you deal with that is actually selling you the alcohol. Probably just bring your old one and the paper one, and hope for the best. But, I would think you would be fine with both.

I am looking at this as a good thing, that Theme Parks are NOT being grouped in with normal businesses. And I am hopeful that the work that Disney has done in Florida will be a good proof of concept for the guidelines here, and allow us to open all theme parks soon.

The Governor's rule is not one that has been fully thought trough. Why should places like a theme parks, with an abundance of open air area be subject to the same capacity limit as Bowling Alleys and Theaters which have limited indoor space? And, yes, theme parks have tons of touch points... but that's not limited to theme parks. Every day, all day, people touch stuff. So, that's not a suitable reason either. This just doesn't make sense.

The table rotates to each of the positions throughout your ride. Your comparison to Carousel of Progress is correct; but the reason you don't feel the lateral movement most of the time is because your pod is moving around on it's motion base. You only feel the movement in the beginning and end of the ride because your pod is not moving shaking you around, so you feel the rotation. The animation that you referenced is 100% correct in showing how the ride works.

The Press Release says they have submitted their plans and are waiting on state and local government approvals. So, I would guess they didn't say anything about those plans, because they haven't been approved yet.

This is really cool for Knott's to do! But also, they only had a few choices, because they sell Season passes, not Annual Passes. Their system can't make a pass that expires on any other date other than December 31st. So, either they say you don't get any reimbursement, get a whole extra year, or send you physical comp tickets as reimbursement. So, they made the only reasonable choice they could. I wonder if new passes sold right now would be good through 2021? Hmmmm. Maybe this will generate some revenue for them!

Simple answer, yes. When any part of the company starts to hurt, the other parts that are making money see cuts in an attempt to balance it out. No telling what they would be though.

I think this ride could actually be a backwards launch, based only on the fact that the spike would be much more fun, and surprising if you were going backwards.

Even if you spoofed your location, you still need to have your ticket scanned for entry at the ticket booth in order to get a boarding group. This is correct. Think of it as two factor authentication: Ticket Scanned and Geo Location unlocks the ability to get the boarding group.
