  1. Wow, that's the same exact signage used for when they're building something at a Six Flags Park..Well, I've seen it at SFNE before. Other than that, great TR! I really want to visit London again
  2. ^ I counted 65 in that picture alone. That sounds like the number of trash cans in SFNE alone.
  3. ^ More like 20 to 1, hehe.. Ok, now I don't think any of the pictures showed, but I did wear my black TPR shirt to Dorney Park, the guys can vouch for me for wearing it since Josh commented how I had a second one. So, what do I get since I wore both shirts to both parks?
  4. ^ Yeah, it was good to finally meet up with you. Plus, thanks for reminding me of Tim and Rob's names. This was a fun trip and I really enjoyed myself. We should see if it's possible to do get a group of Theme Park Review members next year and all go camping at Knoebels for PPP. It save on gas for me
  5. Sunday On Sunday I drove up to Dorney park since I was going to meet Brent, Josh, and their friends (whoses names have slipped my mind, sorry!). I got to the park around 11 and the park was open since the day before they closed due to a little flooding, but the waters did go back to normal and everything was open. Now this was the first time to DP and overall I was very impressed. The rain kept away even though it was really cloudy, and on top of it, virtually no crowds so every ride was a walk on. Except for the Wild Mouse which had a little wait. I was also able to get all the credits except the little laser one. Now here are my quick opinions of the coasters Hydra: eh, it was ok. I didn't hate it, but it isn't in my top 5. I dunno, the ride at some points seemed a bit slow and it shuffled a bit throughout the entire circuit. Talon: Amazing, this ride was much smoother than Hydra and a whole lot faster with great inversions. I enjoyed it very much Steel Force: Fun ride, has some good airtime Laser: This ride packs a punch with the G's. Woodstock Express: yeah, we got on it and it was a fun kiddie coaster. Thunderhawk: Shakes a good amount, but has some abusive ejection airtime. The kind that shoots you up into the restraints making you get injured. Wild Mouse: I enjoy wild mouses, they're fun little coasters. Dragon Coaster: I have never been on a kiddie coaster where it had some serious G's in the helix! I also tried the Screamin' Swing and I gotta admit, that was a fun ride. Plus tickets were buy 1 get 1 free (tickets costed $5 bucks). So yeah, 8 new credits which brings me up to 54. Now onto the photos. On Monday I went home and got to play with my dog Xandra. ASS BATMAN! Everyone sexing it up on Laser The guys on Hydra Josh, Me, Brent, and their friend on Screamin' Swing Josh and Brent on Screamin' Swing Josh looks sooo innocent in that picture. Steel Force and Thunderhawk in the lower part of the park Hydra Talon from the ferris wheel Steel Force picture Trash can pic. Guess how many trash cans are in this picture alone! Nice work on the signage. Three brownie points for them. Hydra, looks like an interesting ride. But it was ok. Past the gates Nice park entrance, weather didn't look to happy, but the rain stayed away
  6. So I'm finally back in Bangor, Maine so that means I am able to write up this TR. Saturday I left really early in the morning (5:15am) to get down to Knoebels. While driving down is was pouring and stuff, but when I got towards Elysburg, the rain tapered to a sprinkle so I was happy. I got to the park around 11 and then met up with Ted (CoasterFanatic) at noon at the ticket booth. The event went really well, due to the light rain we had virtually no crowds and it was an awesome night. Oh yeah, I also tried that Looper ride, and I will never try it again. I swore soo much at Ted on that ride. Now onto the Photos Thanks for visiting...Kbel's!!! Hand Slapage on Phoenix! John and a vampire having a stare down contest while Ted watches in horror! Brent and gang try their driving skills against my Connecticut driving skills. Ted is oblivious to his hat that is smoking I stopped by Camp RRC with Ted, Darrin, Steve, and John later that evening before the PPP evening began I had soupy pizza while at PPP . Made me sick to my stomich just by looking at it Never a Knoebels TR without me licking the north pole....or what looks like the north pole...... Ted praises to the heavens that the rain stopped for a bit Brent, Josh, and two of their friends waiting in line for Fandango, which I like to call, FanF**kIt. I don't do anything that spins. See Robb, I kept my word and wore the TPR T-Shirt to Knoebels. The Looper, an interesting but sickly ride. It made me get a little woozy Ted's all like, "I love the flyers!" $5 bucks to the first person who does a cannonball into that pool This is part of the Coveraged Bridge Festival where you can buy/sell crafts. Greatest Ride ever! High Speed Thrill Coaster Driving down the main road into the park
  7. ...who then started eating lucky charms when...
  8. Oh man, this is a great thread. I have a boat load of dumb moments. The best time to catch me having a dumb moment would you'd have to wake me up and for the first minute I'd believe anything since my brain hasn't jump started yet. 1) For example, (and I remember doing and saying this), last year in my dorm room, my roommate was awake and I was sleeping, and I woke up and here's out the conversation went ME: Hey Nick, check out these icons (holds out pillow) Nick: Craig, that's your pillow ME: No it's not!, they're icons! (Throws pillow to floor and goes back to sleep) 2) most recently happend on the drive down to Knoebels. I had to take I-80 and get off at Exit 232. I called Brent (MagnumForce) on the way to let him know I was 10 miles away from the exit so I should be there in a half an hour....Welllll, when I said that, I was at Exit 232 but I was completely oblivious until I passed Mile Marker 222 and just started shouting the F word loudly in my car. I had to make a U-Turn at Exit 215 and managed to get to Knoebels by a nearby exit without backtracking all the way to 232.
  9. ^ Oh, I don't doubt you Robb one bit with that statement. I did enjoy the pizza last year but this year I got shafted with the soupy pizza. Everyone else had perfect slices where the cheese stayed on it when you picked it up. Next time I go to Knoebels, I'm getting the Taco pizza John told me about.
  10. That was my pizza Ted took a picture of. Right when I was about to eat it I started getting sick and it just tasty nasty because I had a sliver of dough on the bottom and the rest was just a soup of cheese. I was only able to eat a couple of bites before trashing it.
  11. Wow....I have never seen a package molested like that. Luckly the package I sent Soren didn't get molested by mine since all I did was bring the food to the Post Office and fill everything out there.
  12. well, Smores in general is a number one camp fire treat where it's very simple. First you roast a marshmellow on a stick over an open fire, then you take two pieces of graham cracker and a piece of chocolate, put the marshmellow ontop of a piece of graham cracker and the chocolate, then you simply make it into a sandwich with the other cracker. It is gooey and delicious. If they were talking about the smores candy bar, hershey's makes a candy bar that has those ingredients in bar form, it's pretty good. FYI: Always make Smores with Hershey brand chocolate. That's the tradition.
  13. ^ I can send you some Reese's products. They make a few different variations of the reese's cup. My favorite is the White Chocolate w/ the peanut butter in the center.
  14. ^ If you guys came and we went with the original plan of hitting SFGadv on Saturday instead of Sunday, you wouldn't have been able to hit KK due to the rain. But as I said on the phone to you, the rain was a bitch, but the crowds were really low. Even towards the end of the evening the rain tapered down a bit and it was a very enjoyable night. I can't wait to write up my photo TR tomorrow.
  15. My PPP and DP TR wont be up till tomorrow since I can't get the pictures off my camera yet.
  16. Wow, I wasn't expecting this thread to be this long after a weekend. Yay for Soren and I for starting a trend! hehehe. Anyway, Hey Soren, you know what I should have sent you but forgot since it hit me while I was driving home. Maine Salt Water Taffy. That is some great soft candy, I'll make sure to send you a box in the next care package. Also, have you ever heard of Twix? If not, I'll send you that since those things are godly. Remember guys, if you want me to ship you anything, here are my forms of contact PM me on TPR E-mail: SkycoasterFreak@gmail.com AIM: SkycoasterFreak1
  17. ^ That's correct, something that is only sold in that country alone or in that region that you won't find in the US. I'm open to anyone sending me some candy from their home country and I'll do the same, but don't expect expensive candy since I gotta keep a budget. Craiggers "Or else I'll start charging shipping fees "K.
  18. Hey Soren, Glad to hear you got my package safely. It's funny to see the candy I mailed out on Monday all the way in Germany via pictures. I'm glad you enjoy the chocolate. ^ CoasterLou, if you want some US chocolate too, simply just PM me your address and I'll send you some, but the catch is you gotta mail me some british candy in return. P.S. I enjoy that british chocolate that is a caramel twist covered in chocolate. I forgot the name of it but it's thin and long.
  19. I take a guess that picture was taken during the launch, but my question is why are the brake fins up infront of the train.
  20. ^^ The blindspot one didn't work for me. I did cover my right eye and looked at the black star, and the colored star didn't vanish.
  21. So here's a quick random TR. Tonight we had a little gathering in my friend Katies room which I gotta say is nicely decorated. Her room stands out from being the standard Carlizzle room. First off, who has a sitting area in their dorm room? Katie does. Anyway, a group of us played a little bit of monopoly so I brought my camera. Rick sporting it outside! .....Banana....and Chocolate flavor.....Hey, they were in the container Soren, can you help me on this? Are we using Monopoly Money or Euro Money? I get the two confused. Yeah, I so bought Connecticut Ave.! The Game beings. This is what Husson College education gets ya. (FYI: I'm a NESComer) Miles (on right) and some girl from the floor chilling in the sitting area Katie (on left) and Sarah (on right) cutting out shapes Now I gotta walk over to Carlizzle while passing the dick on the way (Dick is on the left) The adventure starts by me going down to the third floor to exit the building. Yes, the floors do go 3,6,9, but there's a purpose.
  22. ^ Well, I knew they've been around for 8 or so years because one of the girls my friend knew attended the show and waited with us to get signatures and she said that when she was a young girl, her Dad got her into the 21+ meet and greet for "Better Than Ezra" and the lead singer (whos name slipped my mind) came up to her and said hi and signed a poster she had that said "I love you" and her name. And last night, someone gave her one of the drummers stick that was laying around outside the bus and she got it signed again that says "I still love you"
  23. Now we wait until the Random TR: Soren smashed by drinking wine. Again, how do you take a picture when both hands are visable!?
  24. Brian: Are you the Judeian People's Front? Reg: F**k off...we're the People's Front of Judea
  25. LOL, that sounds like todays problems with TTD and KK. The trains go too fast something trips it to shut down.
