I've been experiencing waits around 30-45 minutes for the big coasters. Banshee's line usually drops to 20 minutes or less on weekdays, but Beast and Diamondback tend to have consistently long lines until late into the evening. But it's July and everyone is on vacation, so it's expected that the weekday crowds will be heavy. Still much more tolerable than coming on a Saturday. Seriously, I have never not walked onto the beast and Saturday it had a 90-120 minute wait. I'm never going on a Saturday ever again. -

I don't know if these people gonna make it. I mean, two days left and they're far astray? I'm kinda worried. -
PTR CAROWINDS!
moneygrabber replied to Nickstroberg's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Love these! I remember Skyrush being extremely intense for me last summer. It was fantastic in the back, but I thought the restraints weren't very comfortable and it felt like I got folded in half on the first drop. -
What area really needs a theme park?
moneygrabber replied to let1gre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm feeling really lucky here. I get to be 2.5 hours away from Kentucky Kingdom, Kings Island, & Dollywood I can also make weekend trips to Holiday World and SFOG, which are 3.5 and 4.5 hours away, respectively. CP is 6 hours away, and Carowinds is 5.5 hours away. I have it pretty good I think -

Yeah! last year, I rode in the very back seat and got absolutely soaked on Diamondback..What was surprising is that we got to the Banshee line at around 11:15 and got off within the hour. I'm still confused at how it was the fastest moving line all day. I guess Diamondback's workers were slower or something. hmm. -

As it was my first time on it, I certainly didn't notice it because I was much more surprised at how forceful it was throughout the whole ride. If I had to really think about, I would say honestly didn't feel it though. What's weirder is all day Banshee had the shortest line. I didn't wait over an hour either time, while all other coasters had 90 - 120 minute waits. Even Adventure Express' line came out near the slingshot at some times. -

It may not be as popular with the enthusiast crowd, but when I ask pretty much anyone else what their favorite ride at the park is, it's almost always Flight of Fear, even over Diamondback (although Banshee has taken the throne for some). It usually has one of the longest waits in the park. For me, I love getting launched, so FoF was my favorite. Until I rode Banshee yesterday. The back seat on Banshee one of the most forceful rides I have been on and is no doubt one of my top experiences on a rollercoaster. Still not sure if beats El Toro though.. I really like this shot I got of Banshee, so I thought I'd share -

Everytime that I try to unzip workbenches, Norton Studio screws up the process and I can't get through to use them in the game. Someone please help. -
Let's see here. I got to ride Top Thrill Dragster in It's first season in 2003. I remember riding Diamondback in 2008. I went to Six Flags over Georgia Goliath's opening year. I was in Dollywood for Mystery Mine and Wild Eagles opening years. Six Flags St Louis when the Evel Kinevil coaster opened. Also Kings Dominion i305's opening year.
