My guess is that the new website will roll out once the park opens. Kings Island and Canada's Wonderland don't have the new design either, while Great America does (a park similar in size to VF and significantly smaller than KI and CW). I'm guessing the new design will debut just before opening weekend. If Kings Island and Worlds of Fun update their's this week, you can assume the same for Valleyfair in May.

Cinnamon Bread who?

Cinnamon Bread is like the Millenium Force of theme park snacks. It's very good, but it's overrated to the point that it just ruins it entirely. It's not even the best snack in the park. Get a blueberry ice cream cone in front of Grand Exposition and you'll forget Cinnamon Bread ever existed.

Crowds shouldn't be too bad. Of course the new rides will have a bit of a longer line but they both have a pretty good capacity. Don't expect any lines above 30 minutes.

I'm really loving all of the improvements around the park. To recap, the park has added: -A new front entrance, plaza, and Guest Relations -New catering pavilion -Mustang Runner (Troika) -Falcon's Flight (Condor) -WinterFest -Gigantic storage buildings at WOF and OOF for HAUNT and WinterFest -New funnel cake shop at the front on the park. Overall, seems like WOF has had a very big year for a park it's size.

Same here. As a long-time Huss Condor fan, I am truly shocked, appalled, and deeply crestfallen by the lack of, well... ANYTHING concerning Falcon's Fury. No test runs, no pictures of the gondolas, no pictures of the tower, no nothing. Well, if it makes you feel better, here's the sign!

Here are a few updates on the new attractions opening next week. Mustang Runner looks pretty much complete. The sign looks very nice, and the aged wood around it looks very "western", if that makes sense. Fits the area well. They didn't share anything on Falcon's Flight, but you can see the tower in the background of the second Troika pic. They haven't been sharing much on it recently, which gets me a little worried about it's progress. Hopefully I will be running on Opening Day. It looks like great flat ride for WOF to add to their collection. Additionally, it looks like the front gate is nearing completion as well. Everything is looking very nice in International Plaza. It needs a little more landscaping, but overall it's a vast improvement to the old gate.

Overall, Timber Wolf is probably in better shape than when you last rode it. That said, it is only two seasons into a planned four year restoration project. The first drop to just before the upward helix has been rebuilt and is smooth. The helix was to be redone this off season, but the project was put on hold apparently, so nothing else has been done as of now. The helix is definitely in need of work and is currently the roughest part of the ride. Hopefully the restoration work will continue the next off season. I wonder if it was placed on hold due to the Ghostrider renovation. I know GCI is handling the retracking, so I'm curious if WoF is debating whether or not to get the full Ghostrider treatment--full retrack + Millennium Flyers. On that point, could MFs work on the parts already retracked, or if they would need to be retracked as well. Wof is probably considering all of that. On the other hand, I wonder if the retracking budget was instead placed into the two "new" attractions this year + revamped entrance. I remember hearing during a Q&A session a couple years back that the park was considering Millennium Flyers for TimberWolf. That was two years ago though. If I were in charge, that would for sure be my 2018 plan. It really is a great ride layout (I'd argue even stronger than GhostRider). It just really needs some love.

... Now that's a stretch So Cedar Point is teasing teasers? That's almost as bad as when they had an announcement of an announcement!

Really glad Patriot worked out well. I was really skeptical about this one. I'm really interested to see how the GP feels about it.

The thing I'm surprised more enthusiasts haven't gone wild about was the fact that the video was 18 seconds long.

So, land clearing and a massive station automatically qualifies this ride for such award before we even see the layout? You know what other ride had a lot of land clearing and a huge station? Raging Bull. Every ride that opens in 2018 is qualified for the award...that's the point of the award. It's the Best New Ride of 2018. Unless it opens in 2019, it's a contender. When the park openly says that this is their biggest attraction yet, and the park has produced quality products in the past (the last of which won Best New Ride) I don't think it's that big of a stretch to assume that the ride at least has a chance of winning.

You probably also guessed a drop track would be in Mystic Timbers' shed. All of these 'No Limits' sandbox games are really starting to f*** with realistic perspective. All I did was entertain the idea of the ride dueling. Review my post again. I referred to it as "a neat idea" and "could make sense". I didn't say it was probable or realistic. I just said that it was a fun idea. I don't think anyone on this forum would argue that it's impossible. But I'm sorry that the way I entertained the idea wasn't realistic enough for you. And for the record, I was against the MT drop track idea since day one.

I think "They're" was there to simply play into the theme of outlaws rolling into town or something. I don't even think misguiding or fooling fans was Tony's intention. I'll put it this way: Cedar Point trolls their fans 365 days a year. If they wanted to trick the community into thinking Mean Streak would be a dueling RMC in 2018, they wouldn't do it on April Fools Day. Tony is a better troll than that.

I realize that applies to a few people in this thread. Just putting that out there. I sincerely don't think the video is hinting at anything, I was just entertaining the thought since it was being brought up so much in the forum. And I fixed the spelling...thanks Robb!

I've heard rumors that this is a $30 million project. If that is the case, a dueling coaster could make sense. I think a dueling coaster is such a neat idea, especially for Mean Steak. Good guys vs. bad guys would be such a fun idea to play around with.

The new entrance's centerpiece has been put into place, and it looks stunning. Overall this entire area is gonna look fantastic!

The site and scope of the station in person is breathtaking. I think Silver Dollar City has a real "Best New Ride of 2018" contender here.

I gotta say, the final County Fair product looks kinda disappointing. Electro Spin was down for preview night and kinda looks like crap (the paint job is so ugly). In addition, the area lacks anything interesting lighting-wise (which I hope is temporary, but I doubt it), and the area itself looks kinda bland. Overall, not impressed so far.

Heard from an employee that the announcement date for the 2018 ride is August 3rd. Take it with a grain of salt considering he's a lower tier employee and I imagine they don't plan it that early, but I'm sure there's some truth to it.

Didn't they tease the ride for like 2 months with that coaster legacy wall?

But the real question is... are Robb's titties jiggling?
