  1. .....The Daleks are never truly gone. The dalek emperor escaped the time war when the doctor supposedly destroyed them, and restarted their race as shown in season 1 episode 13 The Parting of Ways. In that episode, it was thought that rose destroyed the daleks, but because of the void ship, later shown in the episode "doomsday", the cult of skaro (Sec, Thay, Jast,.and Caan) managed to escape. In the episode doomsday, it was shown that the daleks became sucked into the void, but using an emergency temporal shift, the cult of skaro escaped, and would appear in the episode "Daleks in manhattan." In that episode, sec, jast and thay are destroyed but Caan uses another temporal shift to escape, leading to his role in the series 4 finale "journey's end." The moral of the story is, no matter how many times you destroy the dalek race, you.don't actually destroy the dalek race."
  2. ^But due to mechanical issues, X2 was closed, and therefore only appeared via a perception filter, created by the evil Dalek (a hostile alien race) master, Davros. The plan was that by making DarienLaker imagine he was riding X2, he would grow dizzy and begin to hallucinate, making him more vulnerable to the Dalek army, secretly commanded by Baron Von CreditWhore (dun dun duunnn). DarienLaker, however had intercepted Dalek communications revealing their plan to replace every roller coaster with a wacky worm, but no one would notice thanks to the previously mentioned perception filter which would suuround every coaster, making the wacky worms appear as the coaster that they replace. The Dalek plan was working when all of a sudden....
  3. Just looked at my fantasy football matchup to see that Jamaal Charles (who I'm up against) has 51 points in 195 rec yds, 4 td, as well as 1 rush TD.
  4. WGN's Marcus Leshock recently had his own construction tour of Goliath, and stated that the ride is on schedule to open Memorial Day Weekend. http://morningnews.wgntv.com/2013/12/13/site-tour-of-great-americas-newest-coaster-goliath/
  5. Steel Dragon 2000 uses two separate chains.
  6. And after the wooden slcs, we'd have the wooden junior suspended coasters, those would be interesting.
  7. Go Gator Kiddie Coaster - Noah's Ark Waterpark, Wisconsin Dells.
  8. ....Which placed number one in the Mitch Hawker Poll in its first year of operation. Featuring a 7.8 foot drop reaching insane speeds up to 4.32 MPH, Python Pit's mix of forces, airtime, and smoothness made it a force to be reckoned with in the coaster world. Despite its success, Python Pit was moved to Six Flags Great Adventure in 2017, where it became Great North American Scream Machine. The drop was lengthened to a mind-boggling 8.1 ft, raising the top speed to an unbelievable 4.67 MPH, and the ride continued its reign atop the Mitch Hawker poll. In 2019, however, it was dethroned by a brand new Chinese knockoff Wacky Worm built in Somalia which was called...
  9. Time for today's webcam update, more supports have been placed for the airtime hill, and the structure for the overbank is rising!
  10. That would be tough without completely changing the layout of the ride, they just need to get rid of those brakes on the third hill.
  11. Magnetic Man - Getting Nowhere
  12. Looking forward to my trip to BGA in a couple weeks. Hope to get some shots of Falcon's Fury, and the best coaster I ride will hopefully be Montu!
  13. Today's view, supports are starting to be placed for the downslope of the airtime hill, as well as for the overbank and twist n shout.
  14. According to my phone its a lovely -2°F here in the west suburbs of Milwaukee.
  15. Isn't the Knott's Giga plan a possibility for 2015/16?
  16. Drayton Manor. Gertslauer or Mack?
  17. Only problem is that none of those are in the U.S.
  18. I have always liked Raging Wolf Bobs. I also like Aplengeist, Montu (and most other BM inverts for that matter). I think Busch Gardens has good names in general. Taz's Texas Tornado was one of my favorites as well.
  19. I would get rid of the trim brakes on the third hill of Raging Bull.
