  1. One stack of bents is being lifted by the crane!
  2. Here's a shot from this morning, a crane is clearly visible on the right side by the station.
  3. ^I'll second Viper at SfGam, I was not ready for some ejector air in the back seat. Worst: Ghostrider, going in to the ride, I actually thought it was going to be good based on a review from 2002.
  4. That guy is a rather prominent SFMM fanboy troll. I doubt he's really like that. I certainly hope so, that makes much more sense.
  5. On the TPR Intimidator 305 video (first comment I saw), it's not the GP, but I laughed when I read it. "As a real coaster enthusiast, I am saying that this ride is a terrible and lesser coaster. And as I'm still a real coaster enthusiast, if anybody is planning to ride this mess, ride Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain instead because it's not a lesser coaster and it is in a park that is not dirty."
  6. http://micechat.com/54370-blackfish-backlash/ Here's another response from one of Tilikum's trainers.
  7. Here is a shot from today's webcam. Some more bents have been assembled to the left, and more tunnel work has been done as well. I think we'll see these bents go up soon!
  8. 1. Sfgam (55 mi) 2. Mt Olympus (110 mi) 3. Indiana beach (220 mi)
  9. That seems like a pretty good idea. I think the only problem would be that the signature DC themed ride, B:TR, would not be in that section. What about transforming Yankee Harbor into Gotham City (rename V2 Mr. Freeze or something like that), and transforming Orleans place into Metropolis, or something Superman Related?
  10. Mine will hopefully be Goliath at SfGam for season pass preview day, unless I go to SfGam opening day, in which case it will likely be X-Flight.
  11. Technically the height limit is 125 ft, but the park can request to exceed that. The absolute height limit is 330ft due to the park's proximity to Waukegan airport. I think the reason they didn't go for tallest overall is size. To break the record, it would have to be around 200 ft, which would be extremely difficult to fit in that space.
  12. Why would they turn Green Lantern into a floorless when they have Bizzarro? I was thinking of that layout, but it wouldn't have to be at SfGadv, it could be anywhere, like SfGam (hopefully).
  13. Here's my current theory, take Green Lantern at SfGadv, take out the standup trains, add floorless trains, and replace the inclined loop and hop twisty thing right after it with a Zero G Roll. I think the floorless trains could handle that layout.
  14. Granted, you design all the creations for the Recreational Music Center in San Diego. I wish SfGam had El Toro
  15. ^It's obviously because the airport is being used as part of the park expansion.
  16. I was just watching some old X-Flight media day coverage, and one reporter said that X-Flight looks very similar to Raging Bull, as well as a news anchor who said X-Flight features a 12 foot drop.
  17. Good game between Pack and 9ers, Packers haven't been able to contain the edge all year, so I'm not surprised Kaepernick ran so well.
  18. ^I think the best (and most expensive) option would be to I-box both sides, and have racing or dueling Iron Eagles. Dueling the 2 sides would allow more creative layouts, however, which is what RMC specializes in.
  19. ^It could be that "largest" means taking up the most land.
  20. I honestly don't care if it's one or two sides. I think that visually, doing both would be a much better idea, because then you don't have a 50 degree drop on one side and an 80 degree drop on the other. I think the reason most people want one side is so they still have American eagle, but also iron eagle, so you'd have 2 different rides.
  21. In my opinion, we need Iron Eagle! They should i-box at least one side.
