  1. I'm failing to see how Cedar Fair's purchasing decisions have any bearing on what Busch Gardens would do. But that's just me. I realized that might not be the best statement I've ever posted, but what I was going for was that the last 2 gigas (counting Carowinds) have been B&M, and the last intamin giga was broken down for an extended period of time, so that might influence their decision if they do go the giga route, not that they'll completely avoid Intamin. But the last Giga of B&M barely made it to the top 20 and mostly because it's new; however, the last Intamin Giga never fall out of top 5. Leviathan costs $28,000,000 but i305 costs $25,000,000. I realize that might not have been the best statement I've ever posted. I'm all for an intamin, especially since that's a park I might actually visit soon.

  3. I think the zacspin layout would be a lot of fun, the experience of the ride is not in the layout itself, but the free spinning of the cars, which a zacspin type layout would allow for, just less painful. Combine that with the adjustability of the spinning and I think these will be great fun!
  4. Yet BGT spent millions on an Intamin coaster a few years ago... And a prototype Intamin drop tower right now...people who say this whole 'parks won't want a faulty (blank) because of (blank)' know nothing about the industry, honestly. They bought cheetah hunt over 2 years before the i305 breakdown, and I didn't say they wouldn't buy a faulty intamin, I said I think its more likely they go with a BM giga based on other parks' recent coaster purchases, especially leviathan and the carowinds giga.
  5. Here's my first attempt at a layout, I think from now on we should only do one.
  6. ^^I don't see an intamin as a likely candidate over B&M, especially since the i305 breakdown. At the gatekeeper and banshee announcement ceremonies, the park managers kept referring to B&M's reliability, so I don't think they want to take a risk with Intamin unfortunately.
  7. ^That would be much less painful than Gwazi!
  8. It might be Lightning Run and Thunder Run.
  9. Universe coaster, Chuanlord Holiday Manor, it's pretty messed up.
  10. How about the first person to guess both correctly makes one, and the first person to get that one makes one, and so on.
  11. Papillons d'Alice at Jardin d'Acclimatation. http://rcdb.com/1576.htm?p=3731
  12. Barely any activity on the webcam today, so I won't post a picture. However, it appears that a new "station" for assembling bents has been put up right next to the track piece.
  13. Something and hurler. Where is the station on the first one?
  14. Definitely- -SfGam Possibly- -Thorpe Park -Parc Asterix -Nigoland Hopefully- -Europa Park -Holiday Park
  15. Iron wolf to Goliath may be among the top transitions for a park space in history.
  16. I liked the Serengeti express at BGT. Good view of the animals, and some really good interaction with Montu allowed for some great photos, which will be in an upcoming photo TR from me!
  17. Screamscape also said that Goliath at SfGam would have a completely unique name.
