  1. I don't think Elissa would like that last sentence...
  2. I found these parts of the article very funny, when looked at from a "redneck" point of view: My favourite: "Hicks was arrested..."
  3. Disney. Disney, Disney, Disney. Disney.
  4. A rodent involved with a Canadian airline... no, I think Celine Dion's more of a rat. Even though it's WestJet...
  5. I vote for the Huss Giant Frisbee (a.k.a. Delirium in the poll, but I'm really voting for MaXair... ).
  6. Taken from www.wdwmagic.com : Ice Station Cool is now closed to begin a 6 month refurbishment. The Ice Station theme will be removed, and will be replaced with something more in keeping with it's location next to Innoventions.
  7. CP all the way, and my answer couldn't be swayed by anyone.
  8. I've seen a different contender for "most crowded McDonald's": The World's Largest McDonald's in Orlando. 2 stories of pure madness...
  9. Well, I'm sure Elissa enjoyed her "rodent orgy"...
  10. I like that last picture of Gavin. Reminds me of me at his age... Great TR.
  11. We got to the Point around 10:10. It was only a day trip, so I kind of had to make the best I could of the coaster lines… First ride of the day was Raptor, front seat. There seemed to be very fast train dispatches for Raptor, and (the most surprising thing on the trip), Top Thrill Dragster. I never once saw a rollback through the entire day, and the trains were running pretty consistently. Second ride, MaXair. Sat in Seat 16, I believe, and gave a great ride as usual. Along the lines of that park area, WT was down for the entire day. A real bummer, since I’d been looking forward to it since the last trip (May 14). Third ride, Blue Streak. A little bumpy, but still a classic ride with some great airtime. After Blue Streak, something… interesting… happened. Some lady asked me and my sister to take her kids on a few rides for her (Calypso and Turnpike Cars). Now, I’m 14 and my sister’s 16, so on Turnpike Cars, I couldn’t ride with the kid because I wasn’t 16 or a “responsible adult“. After that, I don’t remember specifically what I rode in order, but I went on the following: Magnum (three times) Millennium Force (twice in a row, surprising line shortening around 5-6:00) Mean Streak Gemini (both sides) Raptor (twice) MaXair Mantis Blue Streak The live entertainment was a major surprise to me. I’d never experienced it before (aside from popping my head into the Red Garter Saloon for a few minutes to see what was up). Let me say,, Cedar Point really has great performances. We watched “Livin’ In America” around 4:30, great dance sequences and SFX. Also, we experienced “Snoopy’s Summer Vacation”, which was a very unique show. An ice-skating show in the middle of the summer, about summer. There’s never been anything quite like it before. A great time overall, and not that bad of a Canada Day, in my opinion. --dandaman
  12. I agree with Coasterlicious. A state-of-the-art dark ride is just what Cedar Point needs. (Did you say, "Disaster Transport counts"? Then you will be brought forth to the Killer Rabbit from Holy Grail and nibbled to death. )
  13. The third pic for Europa looks like an ideal shot for Epcot... Epcot needs COASTERS!
  14. Apparently, TTD has only been stuck at the top 3 times (and I use "only" loosely, because most people thought it could never happen...). Twice during testing (there's a different video of the second one somewhere...), and the one you see on xtremecoastin.com with passengers.
  15. Good decision, Nemmy. If you didn't already know, go to the Soak City parking lot, and get in the entrance by Magnum. Note: I recommend buying your tickets at BE. You get a discount on the tickets, and it'll save time at the gates. P.S. I see you still have Grizz in your TT avatar.
  16. ^Oh, there's no way you can prove... *falls to ground*
  17. You can indeed get the extra half-hour benefit at Breakers Express. We stayed there the night of May 14, and the next day, we were on the first train out for TTD.
  18. Millennium Force, Wicked Twister, Raptor.
  19. There was a thread on the same site that said it was Raptor, I believe. Note: I think he died as a result of a heart condition. Nobody has died as a result of an accident at Cedar Point.
  20. ...debuts today. Post about it here!
  21. I like the Laser Tag in the church...
  22. Schweiser Bobbahn is apparently sponsored by Canada.
  23. I think so. It appears to be that way when you walk in to the big area for your pods (it looks like it has extending arms reaching the centre). Also, the pre-board video has it spinning in the background, behing the words, "If you are afraid of closed, dark spaces, spinning, etc..."
  24. I'm pretty sure there are 10 pods. (5 on red side, 5 on blue.)
  25. I think I was about 4 or 5 when I rode Jr. Gemini. Now, I'm 14, and you can't keep me off of the coasters! (Except Jr. Gemini. Now I can't ride until I have kids, or pull an Elissa and steal a kid... )
