  1. For me, it would have to be Silver Bullet at Frontier City. Most of my friends love to just re ride Wildcat, but that ride is not the best for me. I usually just sneak off to Silver Bullet and marathon it. It's just so much fun to ride!
  2. Very interesting! I'm excited to start seeing some substantial construction on this coaster. I'm hoping they might have some more footers poured when I visit! I haven't been following construction too closely lately; where were those pics taken approximately?
  3. Favorite park would definitely be Silver Dollar city, with the honorable mention going to Carowinds. My least favorite park would be All Star Adventures here in Wichita Ks. If that is considered more of an arcade and doesn't count, then i would probably say Worlds of Fun. My last few visits there have been absolutely miserable.
  4. Fall is definitely SDCs best time to visit! When I go during the week on conference break, there is no one here, so you can get a lot of rides in and still enjoy the craftsman and stuff like that. I don't know about you guys, but the National Harvest and Cowboy Festival is my personal favorite event the park holds because it is just so cool to see the craftsmen!
  5. Worlds of fun has been having a very bad couple of years in ride operations. Around the time prowler opened, their operations on most of the rides were near the speed that carowinds is now. But nowadays, they're even worse than most six flags operations.
  6. Except, at worlds of fun, that dispatch time would be doubled, nearly tripled considering how bad ops have been in the last couple of seasons. I think the GP would eat up a sky rocket II, so it would be easily marketable. The rides look life fun! They got some airtime, hang time, and good forces. I'd be happy with it!
  7. I could see a Skyrocket II being built at worlds of fun. I think it would cover a lot of things worlds of fun is missing in their coaster line up. I'd just hope they'd get the transfer track station like the one in Mexico got. I'd be concerned about capacity on the park's busier days.
  8. T3 is this absolute worst i have been on. Even with the new trains, it just was not ride-able! It was the only ride that has ever made me go back to a hotel to recover. There is just something with the mix of poorly engineered inversions, roughness, the color red, and a simulated leg amputation that is just not pleasant!
  9. That theory sounds like something that belongs on the KD Discussion Thread It would actually be quite reasonable if there was a possibility of a coaster. Kinda makes sense, but kinda not. Just the odds are not in our favor for a coaster.
  10. Thats kinda what i think as well. i see it as a possibility. I hope it would be one of the Tornado slides
  11. Im sure its along the lines of FunPix and Wifi. It seems most people on facebook think it will be a coaster. I feel so sorry for them
  12. Just looked at their portfolio, it looks like they also designed Thunderbird's station. So, I'm guessing this won't be like the rest of the new CF entrances.
  13. That's interesting. If that's the case, then they aren't from the Netherlands because the other troika is still listed on its park website and the vehicles are very themed, which wouldn't really fit in at wof. Also, the condor at Slagharen is, I believe, the only condor in the Netherlands.
  14. I did some research today, and it looks like both Falcons Flight and Mustang Runner are from Slagharen. There was only one condor located in the Netherlands, and that was at Slagharen. There is only two troikas in the Netherlands, and the troika not located at Slagharen has very heavily themed vehicles, so that wouldn't match what was shown in the picture of Mustang Runner. So, I guess that's pretty cool
  15. Falcons Flight will be located where Le Carousel is, and Mustang Runner will be where all the markings are. It was specifically stated to go where the old kids bumper cars were. Also, do we know where these rides came from other than just Europe?
  16. They mentioned it having, from what I understood, cultural theming based off of each section at the park, plus a waterfall. I think it will be a bit different than what we've been seeing lately.
  17. Maybe I missed it in the press release, but I didn't see anything about a new front gate The new for 2017 page on the website, and during the live announcement, they talked about a new entrance.
  18. I think naming the rides to honor past attractions is really a great idea. I see quite frequently on WOF social media is people commenting about how much they miss some old rides and they should bring them back. I know that would make a lot of people happy.
  19. Worlds of Fun having a year round operating schedule would be cool, I'd totally support that. The problem is that winters can be a bit harsh round there. But then again, winterfest would have the same problem.
  20. I'd really like to see a coaster coming in 2017, but I feel it's highly unlikely. I know it's been said many times, but there isn't any land clearings at all. The only way I could see them getting a coaster is if it's rather compact, and quick to build. They could start construction after the announcement, kinda like Lake Compounce did for Phobia.
  21. Maybe, one of the new flats will be the center of attention for the 2017 addition. The ride would have to be something quite special, not like a small family ride. Maybe it could be a high thrill ride like a Sky Roller?
  22. When it opened it had 4 hour waits and even a slow day this year it averages a 45 minute wait. It's a huge draw for the park.
  23. Pretty much all of the parks best rides are covered on Fast Lane. Cyclone Sams is worth a ride if you can handle large amounts of spinning and lateral gs. Zulu is a good ride if you are into enterprises. Speaking of Zulu, has it been having lots of problems lately? Yesterday, it was down all day and there was a bunch of maintenance trucks around it. Off topic, but I would like to mention the great operations yesterday on Mamba! They were running two trains with an empty station and rarely stacked. Rest of the park was averaging 5 min dispatches sadly.
  24. I'd expect it to be in the 2-4 million range. So kinda a medium cost for the ride experience it offers.
  25. Read a reply on Twitter from wof stating that the 2017 announcement will take place on the 18th. Just a gut feeling of mine, but I feel we will be getting more than just two flat rides. I think a sky roller ride would be cool, but then again, that would be yet another spinning ride, as would the other two flats.
