  1. Looks good!!! Quick question: How did you get the cars connected together to form the train?? I have a few k'Nex sets, and each came with one car (and there is space under the cars to add a connector to connect more than one car together,) but no connector to connect two or more cars together to make a train.
  2. Not everyone lives on coaster boards. The general public have no idea that the name has been discovered and they will eat up the upcoming teaser campaign. You have to remember that there are more than just coaster nerds visiting the parks. Even though we like to think that we are the majority, we really are the minority of those that visit parks This is true. Some times we get so caught up in coaster boards that we forget that there is the GP out there that has no idea what is going on, and will eat up the teaser campaign, and the announcement.
  3. Of the three I have been on they rank as follows: 1 - Outlaw Run - Silver Dollar City 2 - New Texas Giant - Six Flags Over Texas x - Iron Rattler - Six Flags Fiesta Texas I think Outlaw Run and New Texas Giant are both amazing coasters! Yes New Texas Giant is longer, but the setting, and the theming of Outlaw Run is what makes it take the number one spot! Not to mention the double barrel roll at the end is amazing!!! Iron Rattler was just *meh* to me. I may be the only person on the planet who does not "LOVE" this coaster. Iron Rattler does not even make it onto my top 20 list. To me it just lacked the wow factor that New Texas Giant, and Outlaw Run have.
  4. Same here. Now that we all "know" that it is a dive machine all that is left to look forward to is the layout.
  5. Loving the reports! Can't wait to see more!! Also, this photo is beautiful!!!
  6. Last I checked all gates were suppose to open for early entry.
  7. True on both. The Sideways airtime hill makes me feel like a ping-pong ball bouncing around in my seat. The hang time on the final inversion on Outlaw Run is amazing!!!
  8. Seriously? Do you even know all of the kinds of roller coasters and flat rides that Gerstlauer makes and has made earlier in their history? You could be riding a Gerstlauer ride and not even realize it! The last thing that that company needs right now is people refusing to ride their attractions! Couldn't have said it better myself.
  9. Dive Coasters do have a 90 degree drop. It is the second drop (the drop right after the MCBR) on the Dive coaster that is not a full 90 degrees.
  10. So, thinking about this B&M Dive Coaster. Do we think MAYBE.... just MAYBE... We could see Cedar Point getting a Dive Coaster with a beyond vertical drop? Not a way beyond vertical drop, but just maybe 95-98 degrees. That way when you come over the top you really see nothing below you? Then they could market it as the world's tallest beyond vertical drop?? #JustAThought
  11. Glad you guys had fun!!! Super glad you actually got your partner to ride Apollo’s Chariot, and I am even more glad that he enjoyed it! I remember when you were looking at getting advice about taking the trip, that getting your partner on any major roller coasters would be nearly impossible!! Awesome photos! Can't wait to see/read the rest of the trip report! Thank's for sharing!!
  12. Well... and maybe Mean Streak too. I do agree with you on the Dive Coasters providing an unique TOTAL ride experience. Finally someone who gets it!!
  13. You do know that there is more to the coaster than the first drop right?? Because yes, the first drop is a "lack of force" because you are experiencing weightlessness, but from the weightlessness you go straight into 4 positive g's. I mean... am I the only one here who is thinking that 4 positive g's is not exactly force-less??? I agree, I think a Dive Coaster is a great fit for Cedar Point. It is high capacity, reliable, and something the GP will LOVE! I really do not get all the complaining about a Dive Machine being force-less. I will go back to my statement before and say... I can't help but wonder how many people who are complaining about this "Dive Machine" coming to Cedar Point... have actually been on a Dive Machine, and how many of them are just complaining because other people are complaining, and so they feel like they should complain too.
  14. It looks like something I accidently made in No Limits 2 when I clicked "de-pump," and no limits did weird things.
  15. Wait... What...Theming??? I mean... This is Cedar Point we are talking about.
  16. "Let It Go" - Frozen! ... That's not true... I HATE the cold.
  17. True actually. Currently battling a sinus infection. (That counts as sick right??) The person below this has been to Cedar Point in the past 3 years?
  18. Granted: But you do not have enough power to EVER power the ride! I wish for a rollback on Top Thrill Dragster when we go later this month.
  19. Disney! (IDK why!)
  20. 6/10 Not sure what it even means?
