Did you miss all the pages of people complaining about how forceless dive machines are, and how they couldn't belive that Cedar Point would get a coaster like this... back when it was first leaked that Cedar Point was getting Valravn?? Oh dear God. And let's not mention all the comments about the color being to similar to other rides in the park. Many of those who have amazingly changed their minds now that they are seeing construction photos???

This is a newer B&M so 98.95% of enthusiast will say "That's just a waste of track. It's going to be boring, and pointless." However, I personally agree with you. I feel like there might be a wee bit of air there, especially in the front seat!!

This photo looks awesome. It will for sure look great going over the path like that.

Just in case any of you were curious... Unlike what the previous photos showed, it looks like right before lifting the holding brake into place they installed the chain on it. Which is just one less thing they will have to do later! Source. EDIT: Sorry for the double post.

As under supported as the top of the Immelmann is, I wonder if they are going to start placing track on those two supports they already have built after the Immelmann and start working backwards through the next two supports all the way to the Immelmann and finally after all that track and supports are placed, then place the top of the Immelmann in place which would connect the current placed track all the way through the two supports at the bottom of the pullout from the Immelmann?? (I sure hope that made sense. It made sense as I was typing it, but not so much when I re-read it.) Obviously they know what they are doing, I'm just curious as to how the will go about building the nextime several track sections.

No matter what new, and amazing technology comes out... It seems like no drop towers can provide the awesome ride experience of the Intamin First Gen Freefall Rides. I don't know what it was about them, but there is no drop ride that has ever been able to come close to the experience provided by these!! This is now, and has (for as long as I can remember) always been my favorite drop ride:

My bet is going to a Starflyer as well! I think it will be a great addition to the park!!!

I doubt we will see any of the decorative string lights in the new pathway area. It just doesn't seem like the string lights would fit in with that area of the park. They fit the Gemini midway, but I think they would look/feel out of place on this pathway area.

^ I was wondering the same thing. Mako construction seems to be creeping along. Maybe it takes longer to poor the footers and get them set up because of the Florida watertable?? (Just guessing here) but that's about the only thing I can think of that could be a reason why construction is taking so long.

Personally I'd be really shocked if this thing was even close to take riders in late April. I agree. I think late May to early June is a safe bet for the opening.

That track is REALLY green. I still think it's an RMC T-Rex coaster. It's just hiding inside B&M tack.
