  1. Yes. Have you ever been camping?
  2. Maybe it is just me, but does anyone else find it weird the way they assembled the MCBR underneath the supports that the MCBR will be above? It just seems to me like it would have been easier to assemble the MCBR close to it's location, but not underneath supports. Now when they go to raise it in place they will have to go around, and over the support above where the MCBR is sitting. Not trying to "be an engineer" here, or say that "they don't know what they are doing" when obviously they do know what they are doing, and there is a reason for the way they do everything that they do... I just find it odd the placement of the MCBR right now. That is all.
  3. ^ If it really is the one from Magic Springs, I feel bad for the park. The one at MS seems to be a nightmare. Not sure if it's just that ride itself, or the Power Surge rides as a whole, but almost every time I've been to the park it's been closed. When I've asked different ride operators (not that I really trust their ride operators to know much about what's going on outside their own little social media world) about it I get responses like "Oh, it's almost never open." -or- "Oh that hasn't been open since the park opened this year." (Even though it was the end of July when we were there that time.) Maybe it's just me and I just have a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to these rides, but I've never really heard of them being reliable, epically the one at Magic Springs, and it almost makes me sad that the park is getting it. Only because I would want something more reliable for them.
  4. ^ 900 pph capacity. . . So I'd say yes, low capacity.
  5. Some new photos from Cedar Point's Twitter! Valravn really is massive. It makes Raptor look like a kiddie coaster. What. A. View!! Raptor looks so small!!
  6. Mmmmmm.... Valravn has some nice curves!!
  7. New support, and track have been placed!
  8. Watching the way Valravn is starting to shape up I think it's going to be the most forceful Dive Machine yet. Now, maybe once people ride it they will stop complaining about "How forceless new B&M's (especially Dive Machines) are."
  9. Absolutely true. Cedar Point by far has some of the best efficiency of any US park (aside from maybe Disney.) For the most part Cedar Point's ride operators are upbeat, hard working, fast paced, and efficient.
  10. Truth! I can't wait to see how this thing rides!
  11. Looking amazing!! Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see the final product!!
  12. Granted, but it would be sold to PARC, who couldn't maintain the park and it eventually ended up closing down again anyway. I wish Disney would build a park in the middle of the US!
  13. E: Expedition Everest!!!
  14. WOW!!! That may be one of the most far fetched ideas to come up in this thread. Parks (including Cedar Point) are still coming up with the hours, and cost for some items like Fast Lane, VIP Tours, (and even) Challenge Park... Just because they are not listed on the site yet does not mean that it's getting demolished. It just means they have not finished finalizing things yet.
  15. ^^ Pics or it didn't happen. Forget the dirt....... BOAT!!! WHAT ABOUT THE BOAT?!?!
  16. Wow!!! Now that's how you theme a train!! Amazing!!
  17. Wait, so if "The station and merchandise shop are going to have a castle theme" wtf did they show us in the renderings?!?
  18. ^ I am suddenly feeling the need to take our boat up to the great Lakes next off season shortly before it gets super cold and just randomly drive in front of the cameras and away every other day!
  19. Looking great so far! Love the colors!
  20. Still not as true as the US needing more Mack coasters!
