  1. Nope. Are you going to a party tonight??
  2. ^ That was just posted three post before your post. Also, judging by the shape of the fiberglass in the photo that Tony posted, I'd venture to say it is the part of the train circled in red below.
  3. A good one?? Eh, I don't think I'd go that far... Remember it really isn't all that steep.
  4. I feel like this should be the motto of this thread until anything is actually CONFIRMED by a reliable source. Professional troll?? Nothing (about 2017) that I can find anywhere. The only thing we have that is supposedly "confirmed" is the word of some random person on the internet.
  5. I can't really think of many things you would put directly after a MCBR besides a drop. I mean, the drop is kind of what gives the coaster it's speed back after a MCBR slows the train down. If this were Intamin, they could put a launch after the MCBR... If the MCBR were not already 130+ft off the ground. I'd assume B&M puts a second almost vertical drop after the MCBR on Dive Machines because you know... the coaster is a DIVE MACHINE... and Vertical Drops are kind of what Dive Machines are all about.
  6. Cedar Point posted this photo on Twitter with a caption that said: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Such a beautiful shot! Also, Tony posted these photos on Twitter: I can't get over how high off the ground that MCBR is!!
  7. Cedar Point just posted this awesome photo on Twitter! Thought I would share it with you all since it seems fitting for this thread!
  8. Cobras Curses' (That's a lot of "s" sounds) lift hill is really starting to come together! I love the colors of this coaster way more than I probably should.
  9. Awesome photos!! Looks like it was some great coaster riding weather! (I'm jealous!) I liked this caption way to much!
  10. ^ From what I've been able to find (because I was curious after you mentioned it...) Raging Bull's MCBR is around 98ft.
  11. Kinda hard to tell when there is a train in the middle of one of the pictures.
  12. I agree. I wish more parks would cover their construction like Cedar Point does. It makes the off season go by a lot faster, and it's awesome to watch!! Then again if more parks covered their construction like Cedar Point does, more people here would complain because of to0 many pictures being posted of "some bolts being moved around."
  13. I doubt we will see any brake run installation today. They still need to attach the catwalks and such, and that usually takes them an entire day.
  14. It's almost there!!! ... it's been interesting to watch them maneuver the MCBR between all the supports, and track!
  15. From page 2,818 of this thread. Valravn's station and merchandise shop are going to be castle theme. The building you see going up are the photo and merchandise.
  16. Congrats! Such a fun coaster! Enjoy your early morning test rides. By far the best part of the job! We will see you this summer!
  17. Mmmmm, those are some mighty nice curves there.
  18. From the USJapanese thread. (Sorry for the double post)
  19. Do you have a source for this?? (Not that I'm calling you out, I'm just curious if I may have missed something.) I have obviously ruled out any layout changes... But don't you think that they might smooth out some things, or minorly reshape some things just to make the coaster flow better?? Don't get me wrong I LOVED Hulk, but there were a few places that could have been smoothed out, and I don't see why B&M wouldn't make these very minor changes to make the coaster that much more enjoyable. Obviously nothing major, or even very noticeable by looking at the coaster, but some few minor tweaks here and there to may make the coaster a little better. Keep in mInd how old Hulk is, and how far B&M has come since then.
  20. I really wish I knew what you were trying to say here, but I just can't make any sense of it. I doubt it would take away from The Beast and it's popularity because they would be such different rides. I mean, a steel Giga vs a wooden coaster. People are always going to love Beast because its... well The Beast. Any new coasters people will love because it's that coaster. Just like Banshee didn't necessarily make Beast any less popular. Even if the Giga were a low to the ground, terrain hugging coaster the overall experience would be different enough that I don't think it would make Beast any less popular.
  21. #Troll? If not then: Just because you personally do not like a coaster does not mean it is a waste of steel, nor does it make it pointless. When there are millions of other people out there who love the coasters. If you don't enjoy the coasters, then just skip them when you are at the park. But to say it is a waste of steel, or pointless is a bit harsh.
