  1. I just don't see the point in this thread, and judging by the lack of comments I think it's safe to say that I am not alone.
  2. E: Expedition Everest
  3. That's a beautiful shot. Sky Ride is looking incredible. Personally I thought Ocean Motion was looking rather incredible, but that's just me.
  4. True. I guess Six Flags just wasn't that worried about having the phones exposed. However, I do think it would look better if there were some kind of cover over the phones. But. . . Not the end of the world to me! As long as it is an awesome experience then I'm happy with it!
  5. Agreed!! And they look super bright!! Which is a plus!! Can't wait to see these in person!!
  6. Yeah, they're called Bernie voters. I'd like to see that quote adapted to this topic Agreed!
  7. The Gear VR has a cover that you can put over the phone... And I'm sure Six Flags considered using the covers on the VR head sets, however... 1.) It's not that secure. It kind of just loosely snaps in place. Which I am sure on a roller coaster that provides decent g-forces the cover may not stay in place, and Six Flags probably didn't want random covers flying off mid ride. 2.) Using the cover causes the phone to over heat much faster. My partner and I have a Gear VR for our phones, and if we use the headset with the cover on the phone, the phone will over heat after about 30 minutes of use. We will get an error saying "the Gear VR has over heated, and needs to cool off," and the phone will shut off. If we use the headset without the cover on the phone the phone will not over heat at all. I'm sure almost continuous use of the Gear VR at Six Flags with the cover might have caused over heating issues. This may be another reason Six Flags decided NOT to use the covers. Anyway, after using our own personal Gear VR, and knowing how immersive the headset is, and I can not wait to get out to Six Flags and try this out. It really feels a lot less like "Strapping a phone to your face..." and more like "entering a whole new world." It's really amazing at how realistic the VR headset is.
  8. I think I just drooled on myself. This thing flies up that first hill. Much faster than I thought it would, and the drop looks amazing. I can't wait to ride this coaster this summer!!!
  9. Agreed. At first, I didn't have very high hopes for this coaster, but as I am seeing it come together it is starting to look better and better!!
  10. I know this has been discussed before! I remember posting in the topic... Edit: Found it http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=56211&hilit=what+season+passes+do+you+have (Not trying to "back seat mod." Just trying to help out.)
  11. I completely agree with you. About RMC Mean Streak, I actually made a concept of that about a year ago, here's the link if you haven't seen it: I just love your RMC Mean Streak. It looks amazing. I could really see Cedar Point doing something very similar to this with Mean Streak. It would take a mostly unpopular coaster, and make it incredibly popular again! Not to mention it would take a mostly boring coaster, and make it really thrilling again!! #HeresHoping
  12. Son Of Beast 2.0 brought to you by RMC.
  13. I'll believe with you! #BelieveInDolly
  14. That looks amazing!! Looks like an awesome addition to City Walk!
  15. True Story. I didn't even think of that till you mentioned it, but the outward banked turn might still be there, they just haven't built up to it yet.
  16. What outside bank are you referring to? There was no outside bank in the section shown in the 4 pictures posted above, from what I've seen. I'm assuming they were referring to the outside banked turn shown in the animation: But there is no outside banked turn: Agreed!! This is going to be awesome!
