are you talking about the top of the green lift hill? what i've read from the reports from the construction tour is they follow the path of the ride, together. just like they are doing on wicked cyclone. i did read that that they will finish off the bottom of the green lift hill because they need it out of the way for the end of the ride or something. so that was a switch in schedule.

That's the other issue ... at SFMM, the only 'big drop' is Goliath, but that drop flattens out too soon as well and the drop angle is only 61. X2 IMO is the best drop, but that's a different beast altogether. Let's see...Twisted Colossus has a 128 ft drop, so the following are all larger: YOLOcoaster: ~160 ft Goliath: 255 ft Riddler's Revenge: 146 ft Scream: 141 ft Superman: 328 ft Viper: 171 ft X2: 215 ft I don't mean to sound like that guy, but this is why each of those aren't my favorites... yolo, i don't really call anything it does a drop. over the top hat would be pretty cool, if it didn't brake. goliath is pretty good, but the slow down at the top kills it. it would be much better, imo, if it just flew over. i could have sworn when it was new it did. can anyone confirm that? my memory fails me. the B&M twisty drops i'm not really a fan of. but, i do really love Banshee's drop, it's profiled different. back, outside right please. superman is better for acceleration than the drop, for me. viper and X2 both beat me up so i just spend more time on stuff i like. my favorites are long straight ejector drops. so, although smaller, i'm sure i'll love colossus' new drops.

i don't think the traffic will be that bad on sunday. saturday's suck. but if you get out early enough, i think you'll be fine. knott's chicken dinner...i refreshed my memory that it about the same to me as a hometown buffet. if you do knott's and don't have time, i wouldn't sweat it. just my 2 cents. -
i think there will be a decent amount of new wood after the high five. it looks like after it, the trains will follow the old path first, being close to the lift hill, then twist back toward the parking lot. i'd think much of the old block brake will be gone. also, i thought it cool that alan designed the trains to cross each other 4 times, if they leave the lift hill at the same time.

definitely seemed like a total joke. I don't know about that. it could possibly still be true, he was probably smiling because he's proud of what they did, you know, saying it kinda lightheartedly, like "no harm done, right?" i don't think he wanted to come out and say, yeah my lame crew weren't prepared and it got out of control. lol gotta keep out confidence in their crew. btw, miss queen, i like your "colossus crown". i think it was fake closing day i saw you and your crown in line. i was going to go look for one in the stores until i saw you later and realized it was one of a kind! very cool!

I hope they at least paint the track. i'm guessing the only place they wouldn't really need to touch is that final turn around. there is still track to the Dragon ride to the top of the hill. you can see it on the 2nd lift on Ninja. that one didn't make much sense to me, but i guess if it wasn't in the way, leave it.

millennium force and top thrill dragster. people are always seem extra excited coming into the brake run or station. i think lex luthor drop of doom at sfmm is similar. i also felt that sfga goliath gets some pretty good reaction.
