^I'm right there with you -
I have played a little bit of Pokemon Go, but it is just so hot in Arizona that I don't really want to go around exploring. But luckily, there are two pokestops in the building on campus where my lab is and I will be spending a lot more time there when the semester starts!

It is currently 104 F out right now. Plus we had some rain last night so it is humid. Why do I live here?!? -

I had a great time when I went last summer and would love to go back and do a little more exploring and ride more of the flats that they have -

^That was a great time, I'm pretty sure I hit a tree branch during my ride -
^ I'm pretty sure that is from Gentleman's guide. I took the picture a while ago (if I took it now it would have been Hamilton next to it). It was there for the season that just ended with Newsies, and I didn't see it (I didn't see many shows this season, but our next season is looking good so I might get season tickets)

Got to see Newsies last night when it came to Gammage. I went into it hearing a lot of praise for it but only having heard like two songs from it (I decided to go into it blind and just experience it), and it definitely lived up to the hype. The show was absolutely incredible. The songs were great, and the cast was really good: great acting, great singing, and so much energy. And as someone who danced competitively for many years, the choreography and the talent of the dancers was stunning to see. So glad I was able to see it

While not that much of a credit whorish thing (more just sad and pathetic), was Puff the little dragon at Lagoon. For some reason, John and I (both grown adults) ending up squished into the same row. When the ride op came by to check our restraint he just looked down at, shook his head slightly, and said we were good and didn't even touch the restraint. We both started laughing at how sad and ridiculous it was

I've said this many times before, but great report Andy! Reading through this whole thing has brought back some great memories from the trip. I had such an amazing time thanks to Robb, Elissa, and everyone on both tours. It was awesome getting to meet you (and everyone else) and riding some really great roller coasters!

Definitely my favorite day from that trip. I was also a little skeptical going in, but I totally loved the park. Everything there is so much fun, even rides that are at other parks are better there. That ride on the Roll-O-Plane was very interesting (I was being thrown around the entire time ), and the flyers are absolutely terrifying if you can get them to snap well. I can't wait to visit Knoebels again this summer!

I really wish I had seen it last season when it was at Gammage

I saw the tour of If/Then last night when it came to Tempe. We weren't actually able to see Idina as she got food poisoning, but the understudy that performed instead was really good. The show itself was good, but not great. I enjoyed several of the songs but none of them were extremely memorable and the plot can be a little confusing to follow as the storyline shifts were sometimes very abrupt and random. The best part of the show was the set design and staging. The set pieces were very minimal on the large scale, but they used smaller props and placement to create a wide variety of settings and used the large turntable for neat transitions. i definitely enjoyed the show put don't have a strong urge to see it again.
