  1. I just found a CNN article about the SWO response, and it reads like pure comedy. I want to get my popcorn and watch the comments fly in. See the slanted view for yourself: http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/20/us/seaworld-newspaper-ads/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
  2. Does anyone have a link to a CNN Article about the SeaWorld response?
  3. Wow, buddy of mine posted this on Facebook, then I come here and you guys broke it! If I was at home last night, I probably would have watched a typewriter for 2+ hours. What Next REAL ART?? How will you entertain us for hours on end???
  4. Glad my gift was received. Did the beer make it unharmed?
  5. Funny, I scoured CNN for anything about this, and what do you know, NOTHING!!! I did find some article about SeaWorld San Diego, with some school children having their overnight trip to SeaWorld cancelled because one 10 year old girl, who wants to be a veteranarian, didn't agree with the film. I went to school with many future Marine Biologists, and their goals are to work at SeaWorld, or Clearwater Aquarium, or Epcot, because places like these actually do things for the animals. Yes, captivity can be bad for such large animals, but the wild is even worse! Side note, when is the TPR Film "BlackLie" coming out, about the collusion CNN had with the film?
  6. I think they have actually installed FP+ for every attraction. Even things like Captain EO, Living With The Land, and Spaceship Earth have FP+. If someone has better info, feel free to correct me haha.
  7. I honestly love the things that Disney is doing with MyMagic+. The program has advanced leaps and bounds since it first started. One thing that has gone relatively unnoticed, is that at 2 of the 4 parks (Epcot and Hollywood Studios), they are semi-restricting your FP+ options. At Epcot, you can choose one FP+ from Maelstrom, Soarin, Character Spot, Test Track, and I believe Illuminations (When Available). You choose two from the other attractions in the park. Gone are the days of FPing Soarin and TT. Honestly though, is FP+ really necessary for Spaceship Earth, Captain EO, or Living with the Land? At Studios, you choose one from Fantasmic, Toy Story, Rock n Roller, and Beauty and Beast Stage Show. You can choose two from the other attractions. Not as bad, as there is still ToT, Star Tours, Lights! Motors! Action!, Indy and other good rides, but is FP+ really worth it for things like American Idol? It will be interesting to see how they roll this out to MK and AK, as AK doesnt have 3 wildly popular rides where FP+ would be a necessity. At MK, I can see it working especially whenever Mine Train opens up.
  8. I think the better question may be "What is right about Carnival". Always keeping it klassy.
  9. "...Ow, Ow, Ouch. Ouch. Why was that smooth?" Haha, love it.
  10. I just realized that it seems that Disney is truly capitalizing on the festival ideas. For the Holidays, they now have passports and stations for the Epcot Holidays around the World. http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/12/04/holiday-eats-epcot-celebrates-holidays-around-the-world/ I guess the montra is "Make it feel like it's F&W, but it's really not" Has anyone gone and checked it out yet?
  11. Got my package today, Opened it to! Huge thank you too my Secret ChrisHanKwanSivus person. I only know your first initial and last name (Shipping Return Address, if it's correct) but would like to know who you are! As an Engineer in Florida, who loves the Mouse, one of my goals in life is to end up working at WDW in Engineering. Couldn't have gotten me better gifts! Inside the package, well, another package! Inside this second package, is three wrapped gifts! Funny, I did similar things to my giftee! Awesome gifts. An Imagineering Legends Book, a WDI Padfolio, and a WDI Lanyard. Close up of the Lanyard Thank You Mystery Person!
  12. Any hints? It's been a couple of days. Anyone?
  13. Woke up this morning with a cold front coming through. It's now a rough 60 Degrees here on the Space Coast.
  14. Well, if you're using Marvel rides at Universal (for thrills), aren't the characters now owned by disney . In all seriousness, each has their own merits, Disney for the Family Themeing, Universal for more thrills (And one of the best Halloween Events). I'm just bias because I prefer Disney haha.
  15. Speaking of El Loco, I'm oddly surprised nobody has wanted to put a Polercoaster in their backyard. That would be one type of coaster that could theoretically fit!
  16. Rauchbier are one of the underrated types of beer. It really is like drinking a bonfire! A couple of years ago Sam Adams put out a Rauchbier, and now I can't get enough. Any time I find one on a menu, I most likely get it. As for me, my last beer was a He'Brew Rejewvenator 2013, delicious!
  17. Melbourne, FL here. So I went out for a run this morning thinking I would be OK, but the 80-ish degree heat wasn't much fun. Now I'm originally from NYC, so this whole 80 Degrees in December thing is quite freaky. I do hope all TPR members in those areas affected by the winter storms are safe though!
  18. Wow, I'm disappointed at what I'm about to post: Steel: Millennium Force Wood: Mean Streak Haven't been to SFGAdv since Kingda Ka wasn't always breaking down and that was way before El Toro was built...
  19. I think the difference here is Theme Park vs. Amusement Park. For themes, I honestly don't think there is anything better than Disney. They truly immerse you in whatever area you are in. In terms of Amusement, Six Flags is up on the list, but I certainly can't give my best judgement because I haven't been to nearly enough parks.
  20. Two tiny lovers, on opposite sides of the garden fence, unite their clans.
  21. I guess I never checked the thread after my guess. Sorry about that. As for the current guess, Grease? And I'll definitely check this time! Haha
