All of the Happy Valley chains seem to do stupid stuff. They buy a great racing coaster with the world's first "high-five" element and it doesn't duel????? Also I totally agree with you that Happy Valley has horrible operations. I did a Happy Valley SHanghai Photo TR last year and as I mentioned, the diving coaster had a two hour line and yet they were only running one train. In fact every coaster runs only one train even if the lines are insane!!! Rant over. Great TR David! I am really enjoying reading this.

Yeah. I heard that Zamperla did build quite a few rides in North Korea.

My friend recently visited North Korea during the Mass games and managed to go to a North Korean theme park. Seems pretty ghetto. Has anyone ridden any coasters in any remote countries? If so, tell us about your experiences.

Seems like such a great event. I would definitely be there if I wasn't in friggin China learning Chinese for 10th grade.

Happy Valley Shanghai Jinjiang Action Park 10 or so parks around Shanghai for credit whoring. SFDK, CGA, KBF, SFMM Should go by the end of this year. Suzhou Giant Wheel Park, Happy Valley Beijing, Beijing Shijinshan Amusement Park, and credit whoring in Beijing.

I think that I have found the solution to the Vekoma head-banging. Just put your head all the way back and lean onto the pad on the right firmly. Then, the head-banging will be reduced significantly.

I like SOME B/M Stand-Up coasters. My favorite would be: Riddler's Revenge @ SFMM. This was surprisingly smooth.

So how long were the waits this time compared with past visits.

All the parks in China have at least one aspect that makes it ghetto. Happy Valley: the operations. Other parks: little or no maintenance.

I thought that Gold Striker has some amazingly extreme forces for a woodie. I think the g forces are causing some problems now for the track.
