  1. Mine are CGA and SFDK for the summer and Happy Valley Shanghai and Jinjiang Action Park for the rest of the year when I am learning Chinese.
  2. Did I see a waterslide in the 13th photo???
  3. They should replace the fence with a simple metal fence like the ones you see in Flight Deck.
  4. Ahh. I stand corrected.
  5. I think that that crazy ride is by Zamperla. Check this link here. http://zamperla.com/en/zamperla-details-rides-zodiac
  6. You can't really compare them since Screamin Squirrels are just shaky, pointless, and give you concussion. EL Loco's have better elements but with similar restraints making them also painful because of them.
  7. Good Luck Conneaut Lake Park! KEEP THE CROWDS COMING AND SURVIVE WELL!!!
  8. Nice. Honestly, if Grizzly's drop was steeper and the long, drawn out hills were replaced by airtime hills, like on KD's Grizzly, I would be happy. I was thinking how Grizzly would be more fun if there was an underground section something like Hades.
  9. I wonder how they make emergency evacuations on the lift hill of Orkanen.
  10. One B/M that is down pretty often is Vortex @ CGA. IT broke down FIVE times in a single day when I was there last year.
  11. ^ It would be cool though. RMC can probably spice up Grizzly only a little since Grizzly is kind of short and I doubt that RMC can do much with the limited space. Unless.......... stretch parts of Grizzly underground and have some overbanks and some inversions.
  12. Schwarzkopffs are surprisingly good at getting older. They are still extremely fun as long as they DON'T get OTSRs. I'm looking at you SFMM!!!!
  13. You're joking about Grizzly being closed right? The park will probably NOT be modifying Grizzly immediately after they build a new wooden coaster.
  14. Some parks have wetsuits for rentals. For example, Raging waters. Wetsuits can ease the pain of the body slides considerably. Anyways, the new slide seems to be pretty awesome. I wonder how it would feel when riding.
  15. I'm thinking the space would be perfect for a Maurer spinning coaster. They could make it into the world's longest spinner.
  16. I initially did that for other reasons, but it does work. I had a relatively non-painful ride on the outer seat of the front row that way. With most older coasters you should pay attention to the restraints, it can make a difference between painful and not painful. The only coasters that I find egregiously painful are Revolution, Kong, and X2. For Revolution and Kong I've figured out how to ride painlessly but it really goes beyond just correct use of restraints, its ridiculous. For X2 if you're on the outside seat there's no escaping it, it will be painful, there's nothing you can do. X2 is the only ride that I absolutely cannot ride more than once per day. I just find Revolution painful. How do you ride it so that it is painless?
  17. I was actually thinking remove the splash boats and use that for an expanded Invertigarden ride. What do you mean by an Invertigarden ride?
  18. I know what CGA SHOULD do. Remove Demon and install and Intamin water-coaster. Or even better, ask B/M to design a custom water coaster. I wonder how a B/M water coaster would ride.
  19. Vortex is actually ok if you know how to ride correctly.
  20. I've been saying that for quite awhile, almost since the air race made its debut. The closest one to us is at Lagoon and im not about to travel all the way to Utah. They are making their way around, just not in the U.S. quite yet. One thing I think people don't realize is how low capacity the ride is. On Zamperla's website, it states it's only 480 pph. They could do the 8-arm version to increase the capacity, but it would still only by 600 pph. I believe that's why they aren't popping up everywhere. That could be why, but CGA still has some low capacity flats, such as Flying eagles because people like to have a bird to themselves. But it's just a pipeline dream right now. I think they could do a duo installation. Each turning in opposite directions. Similar to how S&S install duo towers.
  21. Galaxy Express is an indoor family coaster right?
  22. ^So are we looking at the possible closure of all RMC rides?
  23. ^I wonder however if PTC has patented that type of maneuver.
  24. Well, they could add some High Five sections.
