You can't really compare them since Screamin Squirrels are just shaky, pointless, and give you concussion. EL Loco's have better elements but with similar restraints making them also painful because of them. -

Best and Worst Rides for Maintenance

One B/M that is down pretty often is Vortex @ CGA. IT broke down FIVE times in a single day when I was there last year. -

Schwarzkopffs are surprisingly good at getting older. They are still extremely fun as long as they DON'T get OTSRs. I'm looking at you SFMM!!!! -
Record Breaking Waterslide?
kailisun98 replied to ultradude306's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Some parks have wetsuits for rentals. For example, Raging waters. Wetsuits can ease the pain of the body slides considerably. Anyways, the new slide seems to be pretty awesome. I wonder how it would feel when riding. -
TR: Northern California and Pacific Northwest Trips 2013

I initially did that for other reasons, but it does work. I had a relatively non-painful ride on the outer seat of the front row that way. With most older coasters you should pay attention to the restraints, it can make a difference between painful and not painful. The only coasters that I find egregiously painful are Revolution, Kong, and X2. For Revolution and Kong I've figured out how to ride painlessly but it really goes beyond just correct use of restraints, its ridiculous. For X2 if you're on the outside seat there's no escaping it, it will be painful, there's nothing you can do. X2 is the only ride that I absolutely cannot ride more than once per day. I just find Revolution painful. How do you ride it so that it is painless? -

Vortex is actually ok if you know how to ride correctly. -
I've been saying that for quite awhile, almost since the air race made its debut. The closest one to us is at Lagoon and im not about to travel all the way to Utah. They are making their way around, just not in the U.S. quite yet. One thing I think people don't realize is how low capacity the ride is. On Zamperla's website, it states it's only 480 pph. They could do the 8-arm version to increase the capacity, but it would still only by 600 pph. I believe that's why they aren't popping up everywhere. That could be why, but CGA still has some low capacity flats, such as Flying eagles because people like to have a bird to themselves. But it's just a pipeline dream right now. I think they could do a duo installation. Each turning in opposite directions. Similar to how S&S install duo towers.

Well, they could add some High Five sections.
