Crowd at both Disneyland and DCA are relatively light for today, longest line of the whole resort is 90 minutes for Radiator Springs Racers. Hyperspace Mountain is only 80 minutes!

Today was absolutely crazy, I think park reached capacity in the morning! Hyperspace Mountain and Star Tours line hit 150 minutes almost all day and Indiana Jones keeps breaking down. Only 5 hours to go and wish they a perfect ending of 2015. Happy New Year TPR!

Park is insanely packed today, walking through Tomorrowland and Indiana Jones area is really painful.

If you got out of Knott's to take a break and walked to Adventure City.

Silver Bullet is running two trains today with no stacking, Xcelerator's purple train is almost done with the maintenance I think, they are putting the fiberglass back on the train.

Park is insanely packed today, lines are spilling out into the midway on most rides. SB had a 2.5 hours line and Voyage to the Iron Reef was around 2 hours.

I really get a feeling it will be Mack's version of Euro Fighter/Infinity Coaster.

Going to the park tomorrow, what kind of crowd should I expect?

I would suggest going for flash pass gold and run to YOLO first. It was doing 3 minutes stacking yesterday. Also Green Lantern's operation is painfully slow, single rider line might be faster than flash pass.

I was at the park today, TC never dueled except for a test ride I saw in the morning. Three train operation the whole day but operation is painfully slow that there's double stacking for a few times. Did anyone notice that YOLO's track connecting points are getting pretty rough? Track itself is incredibly smooth but the connecting points are very noticible and the train shuffles around them, the right turn after the loop especially.

I wouldn't want to make the caps so tight that even 5G's can't pull it down. Plus it's a lot of effort for guests to pull the "heavy" ones down, operators will need to help the guests which cuts down the capacity. Not to mention "heavy" lap bars also move slower than "lighter" lap bars that leads to lower capacity too. Double-acting cylinders can help but those are way more expensive, heavier and take up a lot of extra space. Most people are just talking about Skyrush, which is a ride that's already open. Hopefully you're right and Flying Aces will be better. Why don't you explain exactly what you're seeing in that picture that makes you so sure they've made improvements? The part at the bottom that contacts with your lap is more flattened, bigger surface=lower pressure. The sides of the lap bar are more curved so the lap bar provides extra lateral support. And the seats are also slightly modified for lateral support. From what I see on the photos, the lap bar's position is more likely to land on your lap further back than SkyRush's.

The way the new style restraints are lowered is completely different so the padding had to be redesigned Look at us talking about how this is going to be uncomfortable before anyone has ridden it! How dumb do you think Intamin's engineers are to not modify the SkyRush restraint after SkyRush? A GP from Pennsylvania literally said "thigh crush" right after I asked him about Hershey Park! Intamin has never stopped improving their products and Flying Aces is going to be an incredibly intense and comfortable ride I'm sure. And I'm pretty sure the restraints tighten because of the high G-force, not because of the hydraulic locking device.

How about Anton's supports for vertical loop?
