  1. This is a show that can be very scary if they want to.
  2. So excited for this! Hope I can make it there this year!
  3. I even use loop-de-loop to refer to all inversions when I talk to the GP. It’s jut easier and I stopped caring.
  4. Track visual inspection and weld inspection during normal maintenance most likely.
  5. It's still a fantastic ride though, lap bar would be an improvement but it's not like Takabisha is rough or anything.
  6. Interesting, wonder how the S&S and Vekoma relationship would work now. Edit: So far IAAPA floor plan hasn’t combined all the companies yet.
  7. I basically put everything beyond top 40 in a tier system. Like Nitro is the 45-50 tier, Magnum is the 50-55 tier and let the poll decide where they go. Also a lot of the coasters fall into the I can say which one I like but I can’t compare them category. How am I supposed to compare Dodonpa with Mega-Lite?
  8. Haven’t been to the original DCA but was it kind of like this?
  9. ^ I absolutely agree. SoCal is kind of entertainment overload and people have experienced everything so an AMC at Downtown Disney isn’t anything special. I watched Gardians of the Galaxy 2 there at 9pm on the day of release and the theater is only about half full! Another four diamond hotel would make much more money for Disney. And honestly can make that corner of Downtown Disney a bit more upscale.
  10. Python in Bamboo Forest. The return run is comparable to Voyage's return run, but with super comfy train and smooth track.
  11. This coaster (and the park in general) is so ugly that it actually has a unique aesthetic sitting right next to Jacques Cartier Bridge. Sort of "metal recycling plant/abandoned industrial area from the 60's" look when the park isn't open. That's what I felt when I went to Montreal a few weeks ago.
  12. Shaping looks kind of Gerstlauer to me, the Track is from NL2 so judgements based on that is kind of invalid to me.
  13. Disney Springs Paris. That name just sounds upscale.
  14. I’m all for making ordinary food interesting and by far Tokyo Disney Resort has been the most impressive place for that.
  15. Blackfish has caused so much damage and the younger generation tend to stand at the “rights” side without fact checking. (That’s why PETA gets to survive anyway) SeaWorld is basically universally hated among everyone I know from outside of the industry no matter how I try to convince them with facts. Plus the fierce competition in all of their locations, I think rebranding would help.
  16. I need that beef and rice cone in my life!
  17. Disney is rich, but not everything is worth the money. They can afford it for sure, but that doesn’t mean they should just add it everywhere.
  18. It’s an industry secret. It completely depends on the side of road where you drive on. There are Fujiyama, Big Apple Coaster and Surf Coaster Leviathan that turn left because Togo is a Japanese company.
  19. This is much bigger than when they were building the whole WDS park. Never seen such an aggressive expansion before!
