  1. ^ That's exactly why I think B&M is super overpriced.
  2. ^ I imagine a lot of park will do this for the gimmick.
  3. ^ Now I'm just thinking about adding LSM to all RMC elements
  4. ^A drop before the launch or use the upside down launch to further accelerate after a launch. Both are okay I think.
  5. Here's an idea, use LSM launch system, at the beginning of the launch there is a straight track that can turn the train upwards if in emergency brake situation. The whole launch track is parabola shaped and the track turns upwards at the end of the launch just like how Goliath exits the Zero G Stall. So during the launch, riders can expect zero G or even positive G thus red out shouldn't happen.
  6. So here comes another wing coaster about birds Hopefully it's as smooth as X-Flight while has Parrot Coaster's force. Holiday World sold a ticket for me in 2015!
  7. Now I'm thinking about something like Wonder Mountain's Guardian but shooting Santa instead... Of course that can have a mix with the launch wacky worm with standup trains and a Zero G Roll.
  8. Is it just me or the way that Medusa's logo pops out at the end of this video frozen me for a couple of minutes? [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  9. It's a launched Wacky Worm with standup trains and a Zero G Roll!
  10. ^ At first RCDB posted that Lewa is building a Boomerang from Vekoma, but when I saw that picture, I knew something was wrong
  11. I usually avoid spinning flat rides, even spinning cups make me very sick. Most B&M coasters make me dizzy after a few ride, the worst is Goliath at SFFT. But I have absolutely no problem marathoning Maverick, MF, Outlaw Run, Powder Keg, Mr. Freeze etc which I think is pretty weird.
  12. Maybe that's some sort of special effect that can wake riders up when they fell asleep after the first drop...
  13. I remember reading about Gerstlauer didn't inspect NTaG's trains at all after they sold them to the park... Is there a manufacturer that requests regular inspection by their own engineers?
  14. Intamin's safety record is really rough in comparison to other manufacturers. Here's their wikipedia just to start. I love intamin coasters and have several of them in my top 20 rollercoasters, but if I were running a park I would really try to look elsewhere. -Maverick's Heartline Roll -All the other Intamin-Cedar Point opening year major mechanical issues -I305's first turn and other delays. -Falcon's Fury Delays -Pilgrim's Plunge -Perilous Plunge -Oakwood's Hydro -Several Cable snap delays including the Xcelerator, SFKK incidents. -Repeated Restraint Failures. This is a big one IMO. -Noticeably high downtime rates for most of their attractions. That said, whenever other manufacturers have gone as big as Intamin, often it turns out just as mechanically challenged...Rip Ride Rockit, Steel Dragon, Vekoma GIB's, S&S air launchers, Some Premier Coasters, etc. But for Intamin it's a common thread. That's because Intamin uses new technologies on nearly all of their new installations. Is there even a newer Intamin ride other than clones that uses completely the same technology and/or element of their older rides? Gringotts and WMG breaks down frequently because they are also pushing the new and revolutionary technology like Intamin does. Maverick might not have as much new technologies as Gringotts but at least it is not something we all knew what to expect and rode similar things way before it opened.
  15. Naming a huge roller coaster under the name of a TV show is pretty rare. I imagine Battlestar Galactica might be a good show. For those who had watched it, how is it?
  16. Just found out I have no time to spend with my family and friends for the next month.
  17. ^ You mean kind of like those on Shoot the Rapids and Dare Devil Dive?
  18. ^^ Hades360 rough after the Drop-O-Death, other than that, pretty nice. ^ Yes, haven't tried that row, yes. I just got on, the ride op didn't check if I'm old enough. I got four back row rides that day. maybe wearing certain clothes and growing some mustache may help.
  19. I think Parrot Coaster is somewhere close to $45 million. But the price has a lot to do with China's insanely high tax. Really hope Holiday World will come up with something worth the price.
  20. Wow you can seriously write a book about this trip! Love everything on your TR so much! Those pictures are some of the best I've ever seen. Thank you for bringing back the memory of the awesome trip.
  21. ^ Jurt like how Six Flags adding unnecessary seat belts on their coaster.
  22. ^ Same here, I always think Unpainted or white magnetic brake fins looks awesome.
  23. Dynamic Attractions announced their own coaster with a lot of special effects. Could they be pushing their prototype coaster at. Holiday World? Their presentation showed LSM launch and their footer style could be similar to that of B&M.
  24. ^ Intamin hyper Or even better... Cinnamon bread and skillets buffet!
