  1. I've ridden it (it's been a few years though), and I'm pretty sure it has steel wheels. It's not a very good ride, in case you were wondering.
  2. They should introduce a new Nemo costumed character, but the only thing he can do when he's out for meet & greets is flop around on the ground, desperately seeking water.
  3. I've been to a private event where they were serving beer and wine out in the walkways of Magic Kingdom, so it would appear that much if not all of the property is already licensed for sales of alcohol. Let's see some rum behind the counter at Aloha Isle!
  4. In recent years (5 or 6?) the monkeys have been fenced in. Yes, and even before that, you had the option of bypassing the drive-through monkey enclosure, so there really was no monkey-related reason not to participate. I never drove my car through the monkey area, but I always enjoyed seeing the destruction that they could unleash upon other people's cars. I shed a tear when the monkeys were permanently bypassed. Hopefully every now and then they leave a car in there for old times' sake and for enrichment purposes--you know, so the monkeys have something to rip apart and pee, poo and masturbate upon.
  5. Oh, you might want to check on whether Sloppy Taco Palace is strictly 21+ - I honestly do not know, but it's as much a bar as a taco place so it's worth investigating before you make the drive over there. In general I suggest staying away from the I-Drive area unless you love Ponderosa.
  6. Sloppy Taco Palace
  7. Thanks for the details and thanks for the great photos too. Nice report!
  8. Good to hear. Can you bring your alcoholic beverage on to the dance floor area, or do you have to consume at the bar? These are critically important questions.
  9. Nothing is cooler. THESE UNITED STATES
  10. Maybe Disney's also really tired of it, and that's the real reason they increased the season pass price. "Eventually we'll get to a price where they finally stop visiting, right? Right?"
  11. City Museum is incredible! In case you weren't aware, I LOVE IT.
  12. ^Glad to hear it, but you might want to wait at least a few more years before you go back to CP, just to make sure they've definitely fixed that webcam.
  13. So is the Luminosity plaza licensed for alcohol sales?
  14. I'd imagine he means at least two years of buzz around the ride - using it both this year and next as the "hero" for advertising efforts. The reporter probably just got it confused and thought he literally meant two years of service out of the ride.
  15. Is Sooperdooperlooper being sponsored by PennDOT this year?
  16. I find it interesting to see the tire tracks on the bridge that boats would cross under near the end of the ride. I never thought much about that bridge, just assumed that it was part of the decor. But it looks like it was a functioning bridge, which makes sense when you see how much stuff was connected to that island. They would have needed to have a way to get equipment in there for maintenance and such.
  17. Same with Mr. Freeze. In fact I think the Mr. Freeze rides never opened at all in 1997 and just sat there until the next season.
  18. I usually like to eat at Krystal or McDonald's but when I'm in the mood for something a bit more sophisticated, some international cuisine if you will, we'll make a special trip to Taco Bell. We usually dress up for that, collared shirts and all, but we only go for special occasions.
  19. They also forgot to apply a white stroke line to the outside of the zero. I would have refused to eat it on that basis alone.
  20. At first I read that as "food on the ceiling," and thought there must be another good story that we hadn't heard yet!
  21. My favorite thing so far is "Rosemary Scented Potatoes."
