When the audio worked, I enjoyed it and thought it was cool. The only problem is... It doesn't work. SFNE is not the kind of park that is able to constantly maintain it and they clearly didn't care too much about it. If they got it working 100% all the time, it would be a no-brainier to keep. But the system was a complete nightmare and failure. The speakers were either crackly, one was louder than the other, or they vibrated throughout the ride. There were even times where the wrong tracks would play like the station music throughout the ride or the ride music on the lift. I even got a ride where the test track was playing where it would say left and right multiple times. It was a complete disaster. If they maintained it then it would be great for it to stay, but at this point it is a no-brainier to remove it.

I think they are going to have to open it and Superman pretty close to if not on opening day. With LC opening Phobia on May 7th, they can't wait until Memorial Day weekend. They will probably open it around opening. But since the thing is already assembled and Superman is painted, they have no excuse for not having both running on opening day.

Here are some pictures from today's awesome Phobia tour! The ride is looking great, especially in person! The trains. The park is going with purple decals on the side and black on the front. Nerd shot. T&L in hibernation. This is where the entrance will be. Will be the longest quene in the park. This is one of the main powerhouses for the ride. There is another smaller one on the other side. This is the other power building, it is supposed to be very loud at 110 desciples. BD looking awesome. \\ The lift looks so good! The rest of the pieces are waiting for their turn! Here are a few notes: -Photo booth for Phobia will be on the Ghost Hunt side of the pathway around where the dippin dot stand was before. The path is being widened to 25ft and there will be two other food stands next to the photo booth. -Quene will be longest in park. -The giant Phobia sign will go right where you walk up to the ride from Revolution. -
Same trains but they said they will be modified. I am guessing they will be getting the same restraints but I hope they get smaller ones like El Toro. Smaller restraints would actually fit and wouldn't just crush your thighs. It looks like the ride was supposed to have smaller restraints but they were changed at the last minute. They should bring them back because they would basically be like T bars but with a U.

Six Flags (NE) and a Lake Compounce pass for me. I get my moneys worth at LC in the first week. If I go to a CF park this year I will probably just buy tickets. -

Wicked Cyclone Model

I have done all of the structural work and he comes in after and melts the glue strings and paints. I've just been having a tough time working on it because of college so I wish he would do a little more. -

Wicked Cyclone is now topped off! Love how the supports on the lift came out, now to do the other side. -
Wow that sounds excellent! Sounds just like the real ride. I have been trying to put together a track for Bizarro's audio but I am not the best at it. The first original soundtrack with the quotes would be even harder. Sometimes I wish the park's would just release the audio track to listen to, but your X2 track is the next best thing. Great job!

Here is a quick update of my model! I added a ton of supports to the north end, and almost have all of the ledgers in place, just need to do the lift hill. Gotta get some more painting done and finish the lift hill! There is a wicked storm heading in our direction, we need to launch the storm chaser vehicle! -
Least Favorite B&M?

Out of the ones I have been on, easily Apocalypse is the worst. Followed by Green Lantern at SFGAdv. Scream wasn't that bad but its just not that good. -

Thanks for the comments everyone! I love how the supports are looking too. The next update won't be until around Christmas time, gotta finish this semester then I will be able to work on it more. I did a little more on the lift. I am hoping my brother will have all unpainted parts painted too. -

Had a little bit of time to work on the model recently, should be able to get more done this week and once the semester is over. I have to make a few adjustments but I hope to do more on the lift and supports. -
There is no way they are going to put a new system on the ride. And putting speakers in the middle of the train only? That would look terrible and wouldn't be worth it at all. They would just put speakers on the brakes/lift. SFNE knows they messed up the Bizarro transformation and they know they can't maintain an on-ride sound system. They won't be adding another.

I prefer the Bizarro restraints slightly over the modified T bar restraint but the Bizarro restraints are not that great. They hit your thighs instead of going further back to your stomach area. The ride was originally supposed to have smaller restraints like El Toro (as seen in pictures) but they were modified and are now thicker. It would have been better if they kept the smaller ones because it would have been more like the old ride. And obviously MF has the best restraints. I am interested to see if they modify the restraint at all. It would be awesome if they use smaller ones instead of the bulky ones. I am almost positive they will replace the restraints though because they were in very poor condition this year.
