  1. It is closed for the foreseeable future and the trains were removed.
  2. Those trains are probably not going to Roar at SFA because they got SFNE's Cyclone trains which means they will most likely continue with the PTC trains. I was not aware of this. Can anyone confirm? I'm fairly confident Roar has had the same trains this year as last year. It has the same trains, the park just physically has them, probably for parts. Which probably means they will still use the PTC trains.

  4. Special access medical wristbands... don't think any park would allow those missles.
  5. Tuesday shouldn't be too bad. This weekend the line was almost to the entrance and with one train, that is close to an hour. But I think my last weekday visit, the line was around 20mins (depending on seat selection, speed of ops, SAM users, etc).
  6. Sounds like Boulder Dash will only be running one train for the rest of the year because of the lightning incident. Not looking good line-wise for those October visits...
  7. Sounds like battle for metropolis... But why was American Eagle in there...
  8. Cedar Point just said they are postponing their 2016 announcement event.
  9. Usually during the week one train isn't terrible, usually 20-30 mins, sometimes less. And usually some stupid stuff happens too like letting SAM people take the front seat for two rides with one train or line jumpers. But the best day to ride is with two trains because the line goes very fast. With two I can usually get the front row in 20 minutes.
  10. I would bet money on one train for Friday. It has to be very crowded for them to put two on unfortunately. I was there two weeks ago on a Saturday and they were running one...
  11. Looks like a really awesome coaster for KK! I definitely wish it was more like TC but it is fine how it is. My guess is they will keep up most of both track supports for reinforcement. The track may even use the other side supports at some points.
  12. Its probably better to ride Goliath at the end of the day because by then everyone realized that it is a POS and the line will be short. Be sure to get the front seat on Bizarro for your first ride. It is well worth the wait, the other seats don't have good visibility and are not as good. I would say the same thing for Cyclone but the chance of getting the front is pretty slim. Don't bother looking for flat rides to ride. NESS and Tomahawk are pretty good, but that is basically it. I recommend going to Lake Compounce/Quassy as well. Boulder Dash is well worth the visit.
  13. Yeah they posted two things about roar the past two days. I think a ride closing announcement will be soon.
  14. Boulder Dash is only bad in the rain when all the branches droop down, I have caught many leaves after it rains
  15. I was told either August 10th or 17th but I think it is the 9th or 16th instead. (Sunday)
  16. This ride is really going to change the skyline of the park, its going to be awesome. And you should be able to see this thing driving on the road off of 84 along with Downtime and Sky Coaster. I think this is a great fit for the park. Still sad about Enterprise though, maybe they could get a new model version down the road.
  17. ^^can you post a link to the orange track? Thanks. Also, we have a problem...
  18. Jerry said it will have lap bars only.
  19. Awesome addition for the park! Will be taking out Enterprise and the pathway by the Ferris Wheel. Jerry also said most of the phobias were just to throw people off.
  20. From the Bristol Press: Lake Compounce plans Friday to announce "the single largest investment" the nation's oldest amusement park has ever made. So hyped for tomorrow! Look for updates around 10am.
  21. The media invite also says "What's your Phear? Be among the first to find out what you will Phear in 2016." So yeah. Its a coaster.
  22. As long as you sit in the front of one of the cars it is not bad. It definitely is rougher but that is how it works with wooden coasters.
  23. 1) It should not be that bad during the week, I was there Thursday and the crowds were very light. Schools are out though so things might change. I usually find the crowds to be hit or miss, 2) Processing should be almost instant if you do it online. I believe they scan your print out, you scan your finger, and they give you a pass. Done. If you try hard you could probably hit all coasters in 4 hours depending on crowds. I would suggest multiple days if you are only going for a few hours a day.
  24. WiCy was a lot louder than it usually is today, must have swapped some of the wheels. Goliath is also missing seat 8-4 now instead of 7-1. What a mess that ride is. Bizarro is also a mess, the audio systems and effects are a total fail. Speaking of Bizarro, someone went into a restricted area around the ride shortly before closing today. The guy was right under the s shields. A train also went by when he was down there. I went down to WiCy for a final ride and saw Bizarro cycle empty twice so they closed it early. I went back over there and saw two people with orange vests walking around the area.
