Its not a rumor anymore, confirmed by Winkler twice. I am pretty excited to be able to ride it (hopefully) without headrests. I missed my chance during my first visit in 08 but thats a long story. Can't wait to see what they have planned.

That is so true lol. They even talked about adding a futuristic transportation ride, but it would have to be totally different if they are using the north station. But I will laugh pretty hard if the towers stay. I mean why not leave them there it would cost actual money to remove them lol.

Here are a few highlights from the live chat yesterday. Skyway's north end station will be used for Cyclone. (Maybe quene?) didn't reveal the theming, sounds pretty crazy. Lots more stuff for 2015 will be announced in February Sounds like they have plans for Twisters spot. And this was said regarding Bizarro, "When that ride goes through it's next phase of evolution, there will be change, and we will use new technology on that." "Were looking forward to it's next evolutionary phase which is already in progress." So yeah, some more SROS confirmation lol.

Never believe anything like that. If he said they decided against it that probably means they are getting it lol. SFNE said they thought about it for Cyclone but decided against it at Nor Easter a while ago and denied it happening until they announced it.

Yeah I have read up on all the photography stuff and watched videos of stuff like that so I would have handled it differently and maybe have been able to go on a coaster that day lol. I definitely shouldn't have gotten in his car, deleted the pictures, or handed him my pass. I learned a little that day though lol. I really wish I was compensated though, having to deal with that and get nothing is BS.

I was actually banned from SFNE by some clown in the parking department. Look in the SFNE thread around Aug 20th for more. I got it reversed a few days later. Basically I was taking pics of Cyclone construction and some guy came over in a car saying he heard reports of someone trying to hop the fence. He actually asked me that with my camera out, bizarro shirt, and wallet. Then it seemed like he got desperate and tried to make something up to cover his ass or he would look like a moron and said that you can't take pictures in the park. He said you can only take pictures with friends. I told him I have taken thousands of roller coaster pics at parks like six flags and Lake Compounce and he said "we are not lake compounce". So clearly he had no idea what he was talking about. I didn't know much about laws and rights at the time, but I probably would have handled it differently. Probably takes the cake for the stupidest thing six flags has done. I wish I had it all on camera.

You know you're a Six Flags park if they ban you for a year for taking a picture of a roller coaster outside the park.

Lots of work done on Wicked Cyclone! No more original track remains, the north end was also cut down. The roof over the brake run has been completed as well. Here is the start to the stall, probably will see it completed in a few weeks. Crazy that you can see Flashback from here. Although I would rather not see it. Pictures were taken by SFNEonline

Today I was hunting around the Parques Reunidos website and found that in a press section they have a picture of Wooden Warrior at Quassy. One of these doesn't belong lol. The file name is LakeC_WoodenWarrior.jpg so It doesn't appear to be a mistake. Here is a pic from SFNEonline that shows construction. Nothing is definite for what the land is for though. And here is what appears to be wood under the tarps. The bricks under them were always there. Anyone have any ideas/thoughts? Kinda interesting!

^^^^^Hey look my video! Bizarro's is pretty cool when it works. The system is pretty much shot though, probably time to remove it. If only they could maintain it.

Haven't heard anything about it. Probably just canned it. But they definitively do need a new coaster, I have heard some rumors about one but nothing official.

They moved the road about 3 years ago and are in the process of expanding the water park over the next few years. Still Interested in what the park has planned for 2015. They said it will be a special addition and will create a lot of buzz. They have demolished the stage in front of Zoomerang so I am guessing something will use that land.

I don't find Zoomerang to be that rough, it is a pretty smooth boomerang. It is amazing what happens when a park takes care of their rides. Boulder Dash is amazing. I like it more than El Toro due to airtime, constant speed, and the uniqueness. It is awesome! Did you notice these new lights in the station? They look a little weird. They shine through the floor on the exit side and change colors.

They are running one train on Wildcat so if you want to go on it be sure to do it right at opening. The line will be out to pinks on crowded days.

That is at the beginning of the spiders. It hasn't worked as well since they first got it, it now only projects in a small spot. But the spiders is not very graphic. All of the parts were great this year. I do like the first half better though. Hopefully they improve the second half. I love the banshees though, really cool.

Your exactly right. They managed to screw up their best coasters Superman and Goliath. Hopefully Wicked Cyclone doesn't get screwed up.

I know for a fact I had Boulder Dash and Lightning Racer (lightning) to myself. I am pretty sure I had Wildcat and Zoomerang to myself at one point too. I got BD to myself on the day of the oc Boulder Fest with insane weather, I can't believe they kept it open. It was absolute monsoon rain and there was no one else on the train for at least a half hour. Got 50 rides, employees let me get to 50 by letting me go two more times!
