Rev: Chain replacement so who knows how long it will take. GL: something big, it won’t be open for a very very long time. Essentially SBNO status now.

I would hardly call these the parks marquee rides. To be far those are TC, X2, Tatsu, Goliath, YOLOcoaster, and Superman. I would say that the rest of the roller coasters support those. If one of those 6 were down for any length of time during peak season, that would be an issue. Full Throttle has been down to 1 train for months. All I’ve heard from my leads and supervisors is that they are behind schedule and that the second one should be back Soon. Yay summer refurbs.

That would require the park itself to have a refurb schedule... so that’s probably not happening anytime soon. All we’ve been told about Full Throttle’s second train is “soon”, and that was 3 weeks ago.

I actually highly recommend going on the 4th. The 4th was one of the lowest attended days the past couple summers. Don’t go on the 3rd or the 5th, though.

Currently a ride op at SFMM and am paid $12/hr. It’s so great! And they don’t care how much overtime you have so I’ve already gotten a few hours of overtime at $18/hr. Not complaining at all!

Yes they're allowed to, they just don't care to. They rarely run both sides at the same time at all except summer weekends. Man, having both cars come up the tower at the same time while riding Lex Luthor would be an awesome experience! They actually aren’t allowed to launch both tracks at the same time anymore. It put too much stress on the tower. They have to wait until the first car is heading up the tower before they can dispatch the second car, so that they pass each other on the curve going onto the tower.

What’s going on with Revolution? It has been down for quite a while.

Hey hey hey... don’t be mean to YOLO! Guests and enthusiasts alike love it! Also kinda biased as a Throttle ride op haha. But Wow, checking seats and grouping into rows at the same time is not easy.

I hope not.

Just finished my first shift as a ride op at Full Throttle and wow what a great time! Such a great crew and we were pushing trains out as fast (and safely) as we could. With 1 train operations, we were at about a 3:15 dispatch time and the ride itself is about 1:40 long. It’s very hard to go much faster with the station layout. Can’t wait to see you guys around the park!

It is currently on the entertainment schedule for June 23, the opening day of Pixar Pier.

Just drove by and the “Spin” has now been removed from the signs in the dirt lot. It now just has a blank and says “Zanity”. So it looks like we’re still getting crazanity after all.

Why not both? They’re not super far from each other geographically and you could get between them in 8 hours driving, you could do that after spending half a day at one of the parks!

Maybe they’ll fix the name once the ride is assembled? Could’ve just been a mistake.

Well, I was just hired as a Ride Op at Six Flags Magic Mountain! Hopefully I’ll get to see y’all around the park these next few weeks! I’ll also be sure to get updates around the park hopefully weekly for you guys. So excited, it should be great!

What do you mean by “intermittent track work” on Twisted? What are they up to?

What if those aren’t trims but actually magnets that encourage the cars to spin, a la the free spins? Maybe they can use them to try to right the car as it enters the station so they don’t have the stuck upside down problem anymore.

Scream isn’t even rough. Riddler is.

Scream isn’t rough. It just isn’t. I find it to be one of the smoothest coasters in the park, next to FT. Never had an issue there. However, Riddler’s Revenge is horrible. So much head bashing through the whole ride, my ears are in pain when I get off. Not a bad stand up, but I actually prefer Georgia Scorcher haha.

They didn't say "Here it is, its complicated, thats how it goes. Tough." they're saying "We're working on a more efficient way to do this later (Probably March 1st), but if you don't want to wait that long, here is a way you can get it done right now." By saying “we are working on a way to make it less complicated” implies that it is complicated. Even if something is complicated, you don’t tell your paying customer that, or it might dissuade them to do it. Let the customer decide if it is complicated or not. Just tell them the process, and then when the simpler method comes out, they can say something like “we’ve simplified the upgrade process to make it even easier to get more value out of your membership!”. It sounds a lot better to your customers that way.
