The bill would allow the city of Shakopee to issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license to Cedar Fair Entertainment Co., the Ohio-based company that owns and operates Valleyfair. Sen. Eric Pratt, R-Prior Lake, is the bill's chief author. Pratt said he was collaborating with Rep. Michael Beard, R-Shakopee, and the city to help Valleyfair meet its business plans. "Currently they're restricted from offering that, and we believe that the city of Shakopee should have the right to issue that liquor license if they deem it appropriate," Pratt said. Pratt said he had not been in direct contact with Valleyfair officials and did not know what they have planned after obtaining the liquor license.

I too would like to give it a try once. I think the best case would be to have the first 4 rows forward and the last three backward. I gave up on a B&M Invert at Valleyfair many years ago. I remember reading rumors on the old "Thrillride" website in the late 90's about one being installed.

I am 38. First coaster for me was at Paul Bunyan Land in Brainerd, MN. I think it was just name "Roller Coaster". I would guess it was 1979 or 1980 and I was five or six years old.

Hello everyone. My name is Tim and I just decided to sign up after watching this site for some time. My home park is Valleyfair. Up until this July, I had not been on a coaster in about 3-4 years. I thought I had grown out of it, probably because I have few friends that like coasters and I end up going on rides by myself. In July, my niece asked me to take her to VF. We had a lot of fun going on pretty much everything, she was finally old enough to go on everything. In August I went to SFGam with one of my friends that will ride some coasters, but not all. The fire has been lit again. Heck, I'm thinking about jumping in the car and head to WoF this weekend, never been there. I probably won't post a lot on here. I will be keeping my eyes open for upcoming trips and events though.
