This is a Tour of Sunny Oaks! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hello readers. Upon netting a decent job at a local motel, I have just enough fincancial stability to visit nearby parks and conjure some updates from them. I figure that I should devote a little of my time to the community that I adore most. With the opening of Six Flag's Yolo-world a few hours down the rode, I'm just dying to speed over and experience the awesomeness the chain put together, whether it be a beautiful park or a concrete wasteland. But first, I should explain who I am and where I come from before we take flight! My name's Rusty and I reside in a small town that calls itself Sunny Oaks. There's me standing in front of my one and only home. Here's a better shot of my home in case you were dying to see the rest of it. The street in which I have lived ever since I was born. It's a very peaceful place. Down to East end of my street lies a public golf course, it's a fine delicacy to live right down the street to this place. Plus it gives me awesome bragging rights! Sunny Oaks is right off highway 321 (original name huh?) Here a shot of main street. The street that contributes to the tourists we get very often. It's really not much, but it looks damn nice for what it is. The west end of Main street is this small building that houses multiple businesses as well as the politics of this town. Directly to the left is the Chinese hotel/condos. This place is thrice the age of me but it still has it's charm! ...and the back. The Grand Colonian serves as the as a motel for the tourists, and also my job! It's far down the East end of the street and across of some suburbs. The parking lot is a little... chaotic, but as long as I got the green flowing its fine by me! And the structure you see hiding behind the trees is the main attraction for this quiet town. The entrance is a little far from the highway but it was a must to regulate the traffic flow during events. If you haven't guessed already it's a stadium that features horse racing! The owners brand it as the "Steeple Colosseum" though the name is never really advertised for some reason. Left side... ...Right side. Sorry to drag you guys along, but I must give credit to the place that started it all. Foster Farm. The origin and the cause to the growth of Sunny Oaks. I almost forgot my neighbor! He's always been on the unique side, constantly babbling to himself as he scribbles on his clipboard, but I can't help to assume he works for the city. Anyways, he caught me with my camera and insisted on posing for a picture. There ya go buddy!

[RCT3] I'll be doing Trip reports on a new park that Six Flags is opening (Fictional obviously). I'm curious where the park will be headed... I present to you, Six Flags' newest park, Yolo-World!

You might be a coaster nerd if every time you spot rebar at a construction site, you automatically assume they're pouring footers for a new B&M.

I'm glad the mountain is hosting more high schools for grad nights. Since my high school supposedly got banned from disneyland (drug issues) a few years ago we had to spend our grad night at SFMM and I'll admit they did a fine job at hosting it. They even included a free pass to Hurricane Harbor.

I would assume so, it looks almost identical to LL:DOD's winch.

Definitely Venom drop at SFHH/SFMM. I usually chuckle/yelp when I'm having fun. When I'm a little startled, I scream a little with the occasional "woah!" due to the intensity. On Venom Drop though, I'm more than confident that as I began to hydroplane across the splash down, I screamed bloody murder due to the constant rivets scraping against my back. I wish I would've took a picture due to the fact that my back was as red as a tomato.

We criticize "the other park" for not spending money to buy a spare train, so why is KBF is any different? Well, Scream is a different situation. When one train is taken off of Scream, you get 2 trains. However, SFMM seemed to feel the need to do what, if I understand correctly, was prolonged maintenance on two trains at once. On SB, you only have one train even if just one train is taken off. As for not having spare trains, I guess both parks are at fault for that to some extent. I think an example jew might have been referring to was when people were complaining that Yolocoaster was only getting 2 trains instead of an unnecessary third train.

Someone else PMed me before you posted. I'll let you know if they end up not wanting them. Well at least I tried! Glad your were able to find a buyer.

I think denkitakeshi meant to ask your opinion on the bases on whether building this structure would be physically possible. Not realistic. By physically possible, I mean throw out the economic factors such has finance and prolonged maintenance (this excludes construction). He/she is asking if you think this coaster would be interesting given that money and labor is not an issue.

^ I would love to claim this if no one has claimed it yet, It would be great to nab some of these.

^^^ and ^^ Seems like Ubisoft really cleaned up their act. I don't plan on getting a current gen model right now but I'll be sure to pick up this game whenever I get the chance.

I enjoy watching the GP get headbanged on the rougher rides. My favorite spot is the line to X2 because It provides the best view to watch those heads bobble all over the place on Viper . Edit: I put grimace instead of enjoy. What the hell was I thinking?

Funny, I always thought we had fire threats in the fall. You learn something new everyday! Ya, it's a good thing the fire didn't leap over the road.

Is AC4 decent game compared to the last one? I haven't really been actively playing games for 2 years, but I'm trying to break back into the habit again.

^There was a fire in the field directly besides Magic Mountain a few months ago, does anyone remember what cause it? I hope nothing escalates to an actual fire, it's winter for christ's sake!
