  1. Granted, but it was just crushed by a giant meteorite. I wish Magic Mountain would give airtime a chance.
  2. ^ I agree! X2 surprised me! In fact it was one of the highlights of my grad night yesterday. I was in line teaching my friend how to defensively ride and had him sit on the inside seat even though he's twice my body weight. To make it worse, they were assigning seats and had us sit on row 7 of train 3. The result was an extremely comfortable and painless ride. The last raven turn didn't even do its injustice! I don't know what it was, but I have a feeling that was a one in a lifetime experience. I also have to give mad props to the Batman team. They literally sprinted down the rows checking harnesses even though there was practically no line!
  3. I really am not convinced it's gonna launch backwards through the whole course back to the lift hill. The train will have to go exceedingly fast to make it back to the chain and I fear that it will produce overwhelming forces to the train and it's passengers at the beginning, also B&M also are known to avoid launches. I believe that part of the animation was purely for hype.
  4. What! That's amazing! Seems like Six flags assigned the right people to Tatsu for once! Now if only the Dream team can be there all the time, but i'd bet 50 bucks that this will not happen again till a very long time. One can only dream.
  5. I read from a reliable source that the track (excluding the LSM wiring) has been complete. So that we may see testing just a tad bit sooner.
  6. I personally will endure Green Lantern's wrath. But then again Viper's one of my favorites in the park, so I guess I like the pain
  7. I went with YOLOcoaster. But it was an extreme call. I've neither been on a wing coaster or a multi-launch coaster but it seems like YOLOcoaster will provide fantastic forces. And (cross my fingers) airtime!
  8. You honestly don't think they don't know exactly what forces this ride is going to pull? I meant if they made it launch backwards past the snake dive and back into the big loop! Sorry should've made that more clear!
  9. The laws of physics kinda prevent this from being a realistic scenario. When the train falls from 160 feet, it has enough energy to make it to the second launch. If you cut that height in half, there's no guarantee the train can make it back to the launch again considering that entire section is at an upward slope. Honestly that's just asking for a train to get valleyed. What's more concerning me in this ideo is the curve at the top of the snake dive. It seems way to small for the manufacturer to allow trains to be flying through it at a high speed to make it reach the loop and roll back to it, It create forces exceeding 5g's.
  10. What would really make sense and live up to Yolocoaster's old name, is if they put a mist screen in the tunnel and project a concrete wall on it. So when you complete the dive, you have to stop to prevent the train from crashing into it, it then would back out to gain momentum, and bash through the wall! This, of course, is probably way to complicated for Magic Mountain and way to themed for them to even think of this.
  11. I know this post is really old but I find myself doing the same thing. I do it mostly while thinking of new layout for my NL or K'nex coasters. You mean I'm not alone?
  12. I'm really excited for this restoration/upgrade. The only thing I'm concerned about is how the structure will change itself from how it looks now. But seeing as it's MM, I don't think they care about looks. Just the inversions.
  13. Coney Island to see the Flip-Flap Railway in action!
  14. Now I remember why it sucks growing up in california.
  15. wait, since if we reply to spam threads we'll get banned, wouldn't we all get banned since technically, this is a spam thread?
  16. I would like it if the game implemented a hint of realism. Guests taking in 12.6 g's and walking off from the extreme forces is just not right. If you open a ride like that or is just to rough or even if its not complete, the people should, (whats another word for die) get knocked out, and bad publicity will reign your park for a while. Of course, that is just a suggestion.
  17. ^ Hmm, parades...I like where your going with this
  18. I just hope we will have guests in our park. That's just the icing on the cake!
  19. ^^ When was this because The Coaster guy hasn't posted anything new since Nov. 4th I don't think.
  20. I usually feed my coaster needs by taking a quick trip to SFMM on the weekend or plan a visit to disneyland or KBF. ...or browse these boards!
  21. Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Also only my second roller coaster I've ever been on!
  22. What time did you go on Riddler's? I just may be in that line. But it was ridiculously crowded. I went on viper at around 4 or 5 and it was about a 20 minute wait so it must have grown alot after I left, but the funny thing is, after we got of of Riddler's we seen a raccoon dash down the exit path! Anyone knows what a raccoon's doing in Six Flags?
