I'm glad you had fun! Those lengths are unusually short for a summer Saturday. Kind of makes me wish I had popped down there today. Goes to show reality doesn't always follow expectations, or what has historically been true. I hate to be "that guy" who always says his home park is the best. But the only one I've found, out of all the parks I've been to, that equals SDC is Holiday World. I believe that's your next stop? That is a double scoop of awesome!

Favorite Water Ride
ytterbiumanalyst replied to SFMM rocks my socks's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I absolutely love river rapids rides. They were the new hotness in the 1980s, and they're one of the biggest rides a small person can ride (a lot of them have a 36" minimum). I have great memories of riding Lost River of the Ozarks and Thunder River at SFoMA as a child. So I always make it a priority to ride one of these wherever I go. Here are my favourites: 1. Thunder Canyon, Cedar Point -- The double waterfall at the end that ensures no one is spared is the highlight. 2. Lost River of the Ozarks, Silver Dollar City -- Great theming throughout, and the indoor section is awesome. 3. Fury of the Nile, Worlds of Fun -- Great theming, and probably the best example of the original design. Still doesn't have any tracks, so it feels more like natural river rafting. 4. White Water Canyon, Kings Island -- I love the setting out in the woods. Feels like you're out in nature. 5. Grand Rapids, Michigan's Adventure -- This is a miniature version of Thunder Canyon. Great design, especially early on with the waterfalls. Also, the name is perfect, since this park is only about 45 minutes from Grand Rapids, MI. -

You should definitely go! If they do it next year like they did this year, it's going to be a great time. -

Day 3 – Cedar Point (and Coastermania!) Finally the big event. My alarm woke me up at 5:00 AM, and even though I’m used to Eastern Time by now, that’s still ungodly early. Nevertheless, I jumped up and was ready to leave in 5 minutes. Not even close. I hit snooze until 5:45, then forced myself out of bed. Quick shower, no breakfast (didn’t start until 6 in my motel), and groggily I got in the car. And that’s when it hit me. For months I’ve been saying “I’m going to Cedar Point!” But at this moment all that changed. I’m going to Cedar Point. Right. Now. I was elated. I am fulfilling a desire I’ve had since I was a child, and I am about to ride some of the biggest, fastest, and best roller coasters anywhere. I crossed the causeway and viewed for the first time that beautiful skyline I’ve seen in so many pictures. I showed my Platinum Pass and was waved through, and I parked in the front row, staring at Blue Streak, Raptor, and Gatekeeper. I know these rides. I’ve watched the videos a hundred times. This was like a celebrity sighting for me. I got in the queue to enter. Let me reiterate: I am queuing to enter—CEDAR POINT. Tony Clark came out to advise us of how things would go, and we were let in very orderly. Perfect execution. I got my lanyard, T-shirt, and passes for lunch and the cruise, then went to rent a locker. Let me just say that if there’s anything I can criticize about Cedar Point, it’s that the all day lockers are by the front entrance, which is ungodly far from the back of the park. That’s the only criticism I have. Now back to your regularly scheduled glowing review, already in progress. I assumed that most of these enthusiasts had been to Cedar Point before, and therefore most would be rushing to Valravn. This ended up being a very good assumption, as you will soon see. As the rope dropped, I headed over to Gatekeeper and rode twice, once on each side. Next I made my way to Raptor and rode in the front and in the back. Those two down, it’s time for coaster #100: Millennium Force. As I walked past the Valravn queue, I observed its length, which validated my plan of attack. It was probably about 30 minutes from there, which is very good for this coaster, but I had just had 4 walk-ons. I rode Millennium Force twice in the back, once in the front. Then a quick jaunt over to Rougarou, and two rides, one front, one back. Then on to the new hotness, again one front and one back. At this point it was now 9:00. Yeah, let me just recap that real quick. During ERT I got 2 laps on Gatekeeper, Raptor, Rougarou, and Valravn, and 3 on Millennium Force. This day had begun awesome, and it didn’t let up. I went next to Blue Streak and got on immediately, only to have it break down just then. We were advised we could wait, but it’s ERT time. I’ll come back. I went to Wicked Twister, then headed for the back of the park and Maverick. I rode Maverick in the back row twice this morning. After the first time, I thought it was fun, but I didn’t really get the hype behind it. I was sitting next to a more seasoned enthusiast who advised me next time to throw myself at the turns. Not lean, throw myself. Thank you, whoever you are. I got back in line immediately and tried this technique, and it was then that I learned one cannot passively ride Maverick. Riding Maverick is a skill. I can’t say I was any good at it, but over the 4 rides I had that day, I got better each time at riding it, and the ride rewarded the effort. My second lap of the morning on Maverick ended just after 10:00, so I went for Top Thrill Dragster. I waited for the front row and was not disappointed. Then on to lunch, which consisted of the ubiquitous fried chicken and hot dogs. It was good, though, and there were several lines, so I didn’t have to wait too long. After lunch, I went on the cruise. It was a lot of fun! I took a lot of pictures, and I’ll share the best ones below. It was a great break in the day, and since the day is 18 hours long, I needed the break. I’m not a teenager anymore, and I’m learning to listen to my body. Upon coming back from the cruise, I decided to hit up Blue Streak, since it’s right next to the marina entrance. I rode in the front, and it was great! I went and put my stuff in my locker, then checked out a couple of flats that had been on my list: Matterhorn and Power Tower. Afterward, I proceeded to the rest of the coasters: Corkscrew, Magnum, Gemini, Mean Streak, and Cedar Creek Mine Ride. Those done, I wanted to do the water rides. I passed up Snake River Falls, thinking I’ll go do Thunder Canyon, then Snake River Falls afterward. Mistake. It was closed once I came back to it for mechanical problems. Oh, well. I’m kind of tired now, and it’s around 7:00, so Brews and BBQ is the next goal. I took the train to the skyride to my locker, then the skyride to the train back. Yea for transport rides. That would have been a hell of a walk. I really enjoyed the Brews and BBQ festival. There was so much good stuff, and the bluegrass band was fun. Frontier Town reminds me a lot of Silver Dollar City, and it’s a great place to relax. I spent about two hours at the event, then finished up the last couple of things I hadn’t done: Skyhawk, Iron Dragon, and MaxAir, then just before 10:00 I got in line for one last ride on Millennium Force in the front. Everything everyone has said about MF coming alive after dark is true. It’s so amazing, and I want to go back to it. Like right now. Next up is night ERT! One more lap on Top Thrill Dragster, again in front, then two more laps on Magnum in the magic seat, then two more on Maverick, one front, one back. It was almost midnight, and I was tired from a long day, so I walked back to the front, stopping at Valravn for one last ride in the front row. It was an amazing day in every way possible, and I want to live there. I’m going to several more places this year, but I think Cedar Point has already achieved my Best Day of the Summer. Theming: The Frontier Trail and Frontier Town are very reminiscent of Silver Dollar City. The theming isn’t quite to SDC’s level, but it’s still very good. Little attempt is made at theming other parts of the park. Food: I had the Coastermania buffet, a Pink’s Long Island Dog and fries, and Brews & BBQ. I was very impressed by all of these. Pink’s may be the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Service: What can I say, but that literally everyone is on top of their game. I’ve never seen such professionalism from teenagers as I have seen here. Their training programme is outstanding to produce such results. Absolutely incredible. Water Rides: Thunder Canyon is the best rapids ride I’ve ever been on, and that’s a favourite ride type for me. I wish I would have gotten to ride Snake River Falls, as I enjoy that type, and this one’s huge! Maybe next time. Flat Rides: I rode Cedar Downs Racing Derby, Matterhorn, Power Tower (both drop and shot), Skyhawk, and MaxAir. All were fantastic. There are so many flats here, a lot of which I wouldn’t ride, but some I would have liked to if I had more time. Coasters: Blue Streak – A brilliant out and back. It feels a lot to me like Screamin’ Eagle, but a bit smaller. Cedar Creek Mine Ride – Like I mentioned with Adventure Express, I love this ride type, but none of them ever measure up to Thunderation. Still had fun though. Corkscrew – I loved watching this go over the midway. More than actually riding the coaster. Gatekeeper – Better than X-Flight, but not nearly as good as Thunderbird. I enjoyed it, and it was a good first coaster when I wasn’t really awake yet. Gemini – This was a ton of fun. I rode on both sides, and it was racing both times. I haven’t been on a racing steel coaster before, and it was very interesting to me. I loved the interaction, and the ride was pretty forceful too. Iron Dragon – Well, if I hadn’t been on the Bat the day before…. It was okay, but nothing super impressive. The bat swung out to the sides a lot more and was just more enjoyable. Magnum XL-200 – Second best coaster at this park. I rode four times total, all in the magic seat, and it was amazing. Like sex and beer, you know it was good when you can’t walk straight afterward. Maverick – Echoing the thoughts from above, it takes skill to ride this coaster, and I’ve never encountered anything like it. It’s the best themed coaster at Cedar Point as well, which scores high points with me. Absolutely incredible ride, and deserving of all the praise it gets. Mean Streak – I rode in the front seat, leaning forward, and it was a lot of fun. I liked how the queue went underneath the ride, as it gave a great sense of scale. It’s big and fast and mean, just like a good woodie should be. It wasn’t painful to me in the least. Millennium Force - Perfect. I rode twice in the back, then once in the front. It’s beautiful, it’s fast, it’s forceful, and it has an amazing view of the lake. It is my new favourite coaster. I wish I had time to ride this more. Raptor – My new favourite invert. It was basically like riding Batman, but twice as long. The drop was great, all the inversions were forceful, and it kept me guessing until the end. Brilliant ride, and it shines way above the rest of its kind. Rougarou – This was a bit of a disappointment. The first drop was good and the inclined loop was cool, but otherwise it wasn’t all that great. Wildfire still stands as the best floorless/floored B&M looper I’ve ridden. Top Thrill Dragster – What a rush! I was actually a bit nervous before getting on this ride. It’s very intimidating, seeing how fast it goes. It’s over before you know it, but you don’t forget those few amazing seconds. Valravn – My first dive coaster, and it was great! The holding chain in the front row makes the ride. Only place to ride this is the front. Wicked Twister – Much better than Vertical Velocity. The second twist adds a lot. Woohoo! Gatekeeper's testing! Valravn photobombing my picture of Skyride. Beautiful. No pictures of coasters at sunset. How about a dinosaur at sunrise? There it is! I'm finally here! They have dived. Even the second drop is really tall. Millennium Force is the absolute best ride here. Raptor is amazing! I'm on a boat! I ran so far away. Little known fact: Mike Score went on to a successful solo career. Some great views of Raptor from near Valravn. MaxAir is very photogenic. Loved Pink's Hot Dogs! And from the midway. They had KC-style dry rub pork ribs. This is the correct way to do BBQ. Valravn beer tent. Missouri representin'! Now, before you Texans and Carolinians get all upset, let me clarify. You're wrong. This is what BBQ is supposed to be. I loved all the lights after dark. Goodbye, Cedar Point. Thanks for the Best Day of the Summer! -
I think it's pretty safe to assume one of the towers will have some drop capsule/trap door slides. Looking at the recent slide towers that CF has installed at other parks, I'd even say it's a certainty. Valleyfair Tower - 6 total slides, 4 trap door and 2 straight down body slides, installed in 2015 Kings Island Tower - 6 total slides, 3 trap door and 3 tube slides, installed in 2016 Kings Dominion Tower - 6 total slides, 3 trap door and 3 tube slides, installed in 2015 Carowinds Tower - 6 total slides, 3 trap door and 3 tube slides, installed in 2016 Not to mention Dorney Park Tower - 6 total slides, 3 trap door and 3 tube slides, installed in 2014 Yep, and WoF built the same tower that Dorney did, the year before.

Yes, 8 skips total. My suggestion would be to run straight to Powder Keg. If you do it first, there won't be a line. Then go over to Outlaw Run, should be a short wait, 15 min or less at this time of the morning. Once 11:00 hits, go to American Plunge and Lost River. If you ride these right at 11:00 (their opening time), there won't be a wait. After you get off the water rides, all coaster lines will be around an hour. That's why you have the Trailblazer Pass! Walk around, go visit the cave, have lunch, see a show, enjoy your day. Don't use the Trailblazer Pass for Thunderation. It will be an hour wait in the morning, but like a lot of coasters near a theme park's entrance, it routinely is a station wait late in the afternoon. Also, don't use it for Fire in the Hole. The queue will look intimidating when you get there, because a lot of people mistakenly assume what they're looking at is overflow. Nope, that one switchback is the entire queue. You'll never wait more than 30 minutes for this, ever. Go anytime, it doesn't matter. The line is pretty much the same length all day. Provided you were able to get all the rides at opening as I described, I would use the TBP in this way: 1x Firefall 1x Giant Barn Swing 2x Wildfire 2x Powder Keg 2x Outlaw Run Of course, if you luck out and something has a short line, that's bonus rides on Outlaw Run!

Wait, wait wait.... Are you SURE it was the Gerstlauer Rattle? Or could it have possibly been the B&M Rattle? Or maybe a Vekoma Rattle? Because there so many slight variations and nuances between the various rattles, you need to be careful to discern the subtle differences in order to accurately report to the rest of us which one you are experiencing on said coaster, so we are well prepared to endure the dreaded rattling! I cannot wait to endure the dreaded rattling next month! -
Most Overrated coaster?
ytterbiumanalyst replied to BlackWidow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Oh, I disagree. I rode it for the first time this past weekend, and I liked it even more than Maverick. #2 in the park, behind Millennium Force. It's an absolutely incredible coaster. Well, you are an enthusiast, so I guess you'd fit the demographic that overrates it I was referring to! But hey, at least you still like MF more! My friends who love Magnum actually call MF force-less! Makes me glad I'm a Mental Health Worker so I can be there to give them an obviously needed hand! The only reason I like MF more is the drop and the smoothness Other than that, Magnum xl-200 is insane with those last airtime hills. Sadly its not the most reridable, I draw my limit at about 5 rides when my thighs can't take it anymore. Yeah, I rode it four times, all in the magic seat. It was brutal to my thighs, but it was amazing. I don't think I could ride it too many times in a row, but I say that of all my favourite coasters. Millennium Force is all about speed, Magnum is all about airtime, and Maverick is all about quick transitions. All three are just the best at what they do, and I love all three of them for it. What seat did you use? My friend and I had the last row of the first car (3rd row) as the "airtime" seat, and then the middle row of that car (2nd row) as the "B&M" seat. That seat was pretty smooth, still that pretzel turn is too painful... Yep, 3rd row of the 1st car. Best seat in the house. -

Day 2: Kings Island I stayed across the highway from Kings Island and prepared for my second day at the park. Rain was in the forecast, but wasn’t scheduled to start until late afternoon. This would be a race against time to get all the coasters in. I’m not one for riding most children’s coasters, unless I’m riding with my kids, but Planet Snoopy had two coasters I really wanted to ride: Flying Ace Aerial Chase and Woodstock Express. The former was part of early ride time, so I went there first. Afterward, I ran to the second ERT coaster, Backlot Stunt Coaster…and it was down for mechanical problems. The third ERT coaster, Beast, I decided not to ride. I absolutely loved it the night before, and I had heard it wasn’t anything to shout about during the day. With limited time for the remaining coasters, I felt it was better to preserve the memory of an awesome ride on Beast rather than spend time today riding it in a lesser state. I waited around a few minutes to see if Backlot Stunt Coaster would start testing, but a couple minutes before 10, I abandoned the idea and went to await the rope drop near Vortex. The park opened and I went immediately for Firehawk. I arrived quickly…and was told I couldn’t bring my bag into the queue. Yes, I remember reading that here on the forum, but I had forgotten about it that morning. They had lockers there next to the ride, but only rented them by the hour, and I would rather have one location for all day. Well, the only ones for all day (at least that I found) were next to the entrance, so I headed back that way, opposite of many eager people flocking to Firehawk. I reached the entrance and rented my locker. At this point, my feet were tired from having made a complete loop around the park and Firehawk felt a million miles away. I went instead over to the Action Zone and rode everything except Invertigo, which was down for mechanical problems. I rode Banshee three times, and all the other rides in this area once, in about an hour. Almost walk ons all around. That area done, it was time to head back to Firehawk. I ended up with about a 30 minute wait. Not too bad for 11:00. I got lunch at Chicken Shack (bacon jalapeño chicken salad—awesome!), by which time Invertigo was up and running. After that, it was off to the right side of the park for Woodstock Express, Race for Your Life Charlie Brown, Diamondback twice, and Whitewater Canyon. And just as I got off Whitewater Canyon, the thunderstorm hit. Well, what do you do when there are thunderstorms at a theme park? Find an indoor ride. Having been on Flight of Fear yesterday, I opted for the other indoor ride, Scooby Doo. I mean, Scooby Doo Blasters. Boo Blasters on Scooby Doo Hill. Oh, well. You know what I mean. The one without any trademarks. Just as I was queuing for it, an announcement was made that the ride was closing due to inclement weather. ??? What, is it raining inside? Nope, no violations of the laws of physics here. A few minutes later, we were informed that the ride had closed because people exiting the ride wouldn’t get off the platform and out into the rain, so they just had to shut it down. People are stupid. Oh well, just like yesterday, I’m going to wait out the storm here. Nothing else is running right now, and I’m not being rained on. I checked radar using the free wifi and saw that there would be a break for maybe an hour, then the thunderstorms would resume and last for several hours. Good, I’ll get a chance to ride a few more things, and when it all shuts down again, I’ll head for Cedar Point. After Hill Blasters on Boo Boo, I darted for Backlot Stunt Coaster. That was one of the ones I most wanted to ride here. So cool and so different from anything else. I finished up with Vortex and then Racer. I headed back to Banshee for one last ride, and then proceeded over to Diamondback for one last ride on it, but just as I got there, it shut down for lightning again. At least I got to experience this magnificent reptile twice today, one front and one back. Beautiful and powerful ride. I had planned to eat dinner at Reds Hall of Fame, so this was a good opportunity. Only I was told they weren’t seating because their computer systems are down. Grr. Okay, in search of dinner, I made my way to Hank’s Burritos. It was very good, a lot like Qdoba. I found some seating where I wouldn’t be rained on, under an umbrella near the fountains. It was a lovely setting for dinner. I finished my day with the Cirque Origins show. It was great, but hard to photograph. Low light and lots of action taxed my camera. I took a lot of pictures, but I’m only going to show the few that turned out well. In all, it was a great show, and I would have taken the time for it even if the rides had been running. As it was, it made for a nice, relaxing end to a great day at Kings Island. I left right after the show and drove to Sandusky. Theming: It’s an interesting hodgepodge. The very best theming comes from the rides built during the Paramount era. Flight of Fear and Backlot Stunt Coaster are the standouts in this category. Food: This park had the best food of all 5 this trip! Definitely above the average theme park fare. Lines were long but manageable (going on a rainy weekday probably helped too). I had the chili 3-way from Skyline, the bacon jalapeño chicken salad from Chicken Shack, and a burrito from Hank’s Burritos. All were fantastic. Service: I’d say it’s on par with what I’ve come to expect from Worlds of Fun. Banshee crew was the best, but most employees were very good. Food service was a bit slow, but nothing awful. Not like the reports from opening day at all. Water rides: All three were great. I think Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown was my favourite, but Whitewater Canyon was great as well. Congo Falls was not up to the quality of the other two, but it gets the job done. I was especially glad to have a water ride on the left side of the park. This place is huge, so I appreciated having a way to cool off without a huge walk. Flats: I rode Delirium, Drop Tower, and Surf Dog. All three were great! They had a good number of flat rides that I would have ridden had the storm not pressed for time. I will have to spend some more time in Coney Mall next time I go. Coasters: Adventure Express – My first big coaster was Thunderation, so I have the problem of being endeared to mine train coasters yet finding none of them quite measure up. Adventure Express was a solid #2 though, and I had a lot of fun. The animatronics in the final lift hill were especially great. Backlot Stunt Coaster – This was a lot of fun. The theming is incredible, and the coaster feels faster than it is due to darting around obstacles. I would have loved to re-ride this, but with the storm bearing down, I had to get to the other rides. Next time I’ll ride multiple times for sure. Banshee – My favourite invert for one day. I liked it better than Batman but not as much as Raptor. It’s got some great floaty air, some beautiful inversions, and it was all around a blast from start to finish. I rode it 4 times, more than any other coaster at Kings Island. Bat – I would have loved this more had it not come with a 600 mile walk. This was my first Arrow suspended coaster, and it was really a lot of fun. Definitely worth the substantial trek into the woods. Diamondback – A great B&M hyper! My only other ride of this type was Raging Bull, which was a massive disappointment. Diamondback delivered! I got to ride it twice, and it was the only one other than Banshee that I re-rode. Firehawk – I was very interested in this, as I find the flying coaster concept intriguing, but I hated Superman with a passion. Firehawk was the opposite in every way. The lying down for the lift hill is a much better idea than B&M’s idea to have all the pressure on your chest the whole ride. Yeah, that’s right, Internet. Vekoma made a more comfortable coaster than B&M did. Deal with it. Flying Ace Aerial Chase – I was excited to ride this because I loved Steel Lasso at Frontier City last year. This ride isn’t quite as good due to the shuffling, but it wasn’t painful. I’d ride it once per visiIt. Invertigo – I hate boomerangs. That said, I wanted to try this one, as I had heard that the inverted versions are far superior. That is absolutely correct. I actually had fun on this ride. Maybe Vekoma can make good rides after all? The three here—Firehawk, Invertigo, and Flying Ace Aerial Chase—are actually really good. Racer – Only the blue side was running, so I never got to experience it racing. Oh well. It’s still a great out and back woodie, and I will always ride a coaster of this type. You really can’t go wrong with a classic like this. Vortex – Way better than the Internet had led me to believe. But I’m not a teenager any more, and I grew up with these Arrow loopers being the biggest thrill rides around. I can take a bit of shaking, so I had a blast. Woodstock Express – I like these little wooden coasters. Not intense at all, just a lot of fun with some mild airtime. This is a classic in its own right, and a good starter coaster for kids. I loved it. No stunts this morning. I actually liked it quite a lot. Delirium was my first Giant Frisbee, and it was a great ride! Drop Tower was great! I loved the spiral around the tower. Beautiful views. And of course, there is Banshee. Congo Falls is the same as Monsoon at Worlds of Fun. I loved these jets at the end. Just in case you weren't soaked enough. You could see the Eiffel Tower from nearly everywhere in the park. The fountains are beautiful. Storm's a-comin' Head for the hills! Boo Hill specifically! Another remarkably well-themed queue. The aftermath of the storm. How apropos! Flying Ace Aerial Chase was a lot of fun. So was Surf Dog. There's that tower again. Diamondback is an incredible coaster. Race for Your Life Charlie Brown is the best name for a log flume I've ever encountered. And the ride really measures up to the name. Denied. :'( Whitewater Canyon is an excellent rapids ride. These appeared to be new. I love this at SFStL next to Thunder Rapids. Provides a lot of shade. So tall! So twisty! Windseeker was down all day. Vortex was much better than rumours would have you believe. So loopy! -

When I was there last year, they did not have free soft drinks, but they did have free parking and free sunscreen. That may be different this year. The cheapest tickets are either their sundown ticket, which is I believe 5PM or later, or if you join Club TPR, you can get in all day for the sundown ticket price, which is $10 off the regular rate. -

It's totally a hint! They totally didn't just tell their marketing team "put a roller coaster and a waterslide on it" so they could use one image at all their parks. Because Cedar Fair is way too devious to ever just use some generic advertisement. Everyone knows they hide all their best clues in banner ads. -
Wait until you have kids! This man speaks the truth! I have no problem driving long distances. In fact, our honeymoon trip was a giant road trip all over the Midwest and into Canada. We used to drive up to SFStL in the morning, stay all day, then drive back. It was a long 18 hour day, including drive time, but totally doable. With kids, you don't want to drive more than three hours in a day. There will be consequences, no matter how good your kids are.

Technically back-to-back-to-back then in this case: Rougarou, Valravn, RMC Mean Streak. The thing you really see is the Cedar Fair going to their parks and correcting a lot of the mistakes made over the course of the Kinsel regime, and that's pretty great. THIS. I'm amazed at how much better Worlds of Fun is now compared to just a few years ago. The overhaul of Oceans of Fun, the addition of Dinosaurs Alive, the Planet Snoopy expansion, and the re-tracking of Timber Wolf have made it a much better experience compared to just a few years ago. I can't speak for the rest of the CF chain, as up until 1 week ago WoF was the only CF park I had been to, but if the transformation is similar to WoF's--and it sounds like that is the case--then they're absolutely doing it right. -

Oh, I disagree. I rode it for the first time this past weekend, and I liked it even more than Maverick. #2 in the park, behind Millennium Force. It's an absolutely incredible coaster. -

I completely agree with your assessment: Beast was very smooth for a woodie. I'll have to try the Bat at night when I go back. That night was all about the Beast, and I'm so glad I got the nighttime version of it. I really enjoyed Kings Island, and I'll definitely visit there again, especially if they do get that new coaster next year. -
