  1. Like most other loops, honestly. I'm not saying that's a bad thing.
  2. I don't know if they would invest a lot of money in the ride if they thought it wasn't going to smooth with floorless trains.
  3. ^ Didn't you just read?! There IS something wrong with that. "He circumvented the rules."
  4. That is why it's important for folks to fill out their profile properly and list their location. This way people can tell if it is someone from a foreign country that might struggle with English grammar/spelling or someone that is just lazily punching it into their smart phone and hitting send. OMG who the **** cares?? Wait.... what?
  5. Phase 1: Attraction is teased Phase 2: Expectations are set too high Phase 3: Attraction is announced Phase 4: Complaining Phase 5: Complaining about complaining Phase 6: Arguing about complaining Phase 7: Complaining about arguing about complaining Phase 8: Attraction is finished Phase 9: Trip reports and photos Phase 10: Speculation for next attraction
  6. You can have the four Wing Riders. I'll gladly take having El Toro in my backyard any day. Too bad it's in Jersey.
  7. You should probably just go ahead and log off for a couple days... take a rest. #noonecaresanymoretony #beatadeadhorse #hashtagsaredumbwhichiswhyIdon'ttwitter
  8. I agree the EVO is superior and it's an amazing machine, but I still have a soft spot for Subarus. I love the sound produced by the the unequal length headers. After years of obsessing over WRX'S and making poor car choices (03 Sentra Spec V, 09 Civic Si, 08 350Z) , last year I finally purchased my 2013 WRX. It's paid for, so I'm going to rock it for a couple more years and upgrade to a STI. It's sad to see that the EVO is going away, though.
  9. Manual transmission or bust. I'll forget the fact that Santa made a poor choice by not buying a Subaru. STI They are both great cars. Do you have one? When do you think they're going to start the station building? I'm getting excited! You may be waiting a while. The started really putting work in on the station when Banshee's circuit was mostly complete.
  10. Manual transmission or bust. I'll forget the fact that Santa made a poor choice by not buying a Subaru.
  11. There's a difference between teasing an attraction and just being annoying. I have a feeling that a lot of people will lose interest at this point.
  12. Their line-up may not be "Great", but it's pretty good. You have Banshee, B&M's come-back coaster. It may not be Kumba or Raptor intense, but it's pretty damn good. Diamondback is a solid B&M hyper with 2x2 seating. Beast is a classic. It may not provide your typical thrills, but it's still fun as hell. Bat is one of the few arrow suspended coasters left and it packs a good punch. FOF isn't amazing, but it's a nice launched indoor looper. I'd say KI has a pretty solid line-up. It has multiple rides in the park that I enjoy riding, as opposed to only one or two coasters.
  13. So I see what you did there... and I liked it. Bravo!
  14. And here is you in the WoF thread saying the opposite, all while joining in on the ever cliche topic of Patriot's "forcelessness": Pay more attention. SFSTL IS better than WoF in terms of rides. However, I said I prefer WoF. You sure got me on that one.................. Apologizing for being being incorrect. How immature of me???? This post was just 3 posts ahead of the last post of yours I quoted in the WoF thread. Sounds kind of similar to SFStl Fan's innocent post you blew up about, yet you didn't scold xXCcsc918Xx for posting something that many others have. So you what you're saying is... you want me to pick apart every post in every thread? So... you're criticizing me... for not criticizing another forum member?? Is there anything else in the WoF that I missed that I should pay attention to? That and I didn't "blow up" about anything. You don't have to go to see that not much has changed. Point? Either way. I don't know who you are, nor do I care, but thanks for paying so much attention to me. That doesn't look weird at all... Good job proving nothing... about anything... You proved nothing. Did you have any other purpose of coming in here other than to perpetuate and argument that should have ended pages ago??
  15. Your blind assumptions are as worthless as your discussion topics. When you said shop at FootLocker, are you sure you didn't mean work? Maybe that is where the Victoria's Secret reference comes in? Is it time to stop with the cheap shots yet, or do you have a mom joke to add to make you feel clever?
  16. I'd still say Batman is a quality coaster. As far as classic coasters go, Screaming Eagle is also another good ride. I don't like our park either, but it could be worse: WoF, Indiana Beach, Magic Springs. I'd also say our park is better than KK in its current state, but give it five years and I think KK will be a more desirable park. A few years ago I would have said our park had an edge on Holiday World, but that is no longer true. Seeing as how Cedar Fair is upping their game, I'd be willing to bet we'll loose the edge on WoF soon, too.
  17. As for "Keyboard" warrior - ooook. I say what's on my mind in person and from behind the keyboard. I often offer an opposing opinion different from "Wow Aqua Twist is the best new attraction EVER!" I don't win any popularity contests for it, but I don't care. I'm cynical and not much different in person. For a living I confront the people who give you a reason to own a firearm and lock your doors at night. I don't get my rocks off by being an "Internet tough guy." There is no such thing. My entire point was that there has already been continuous, repeated, and worn out speculation in the past over these subjects. However, you seemed to have missed that point. Feel free to discuss more ideas that have already been talked to death, please. Let's go ahead and re speculate over subjects that have already been discussed 20 times over in the past few years: Hyper for 2016 RMC for 2015 Mr. Freeze - one side forward launch one side backwards Something to replace the Ninja in 2017 (Maybe a Eurofighter with lap bars only, a launch, and 90 degree lift!?!?) Refurbishment of the Mine Train with themeing to make it JUST like a Disney ride... The addition of a kiddie coaster You can also bring up great new ideas such as: Wouldn't it be awesome to build a roller coaster where the new paintball park is? Great??? Of course it would be f***ing great!! Likely??? Not anytime this year and probably not next. Although Justice League refurbishment bores the ever living crap out of me, at least there is some base to it. It's an actual relevant conversation, as opposed to talking about a coaster type that we may never get in an area that has already been developed with a newer (although YES... worthless) attraction. Could I see it happen in the future? Maybe... but it's pointless to think about until we see some survey marks or ground clearing. We've all THOUGHT about the placement of decent roller coasters all throughout the park, but who the hell cares? Your 2nd post on the forum was nearly as worthless as the kids who come in and say "Does anyone think this park could benefit from having a hyper?" or "I really think this park is going to get something BIIIIIIGGGG in the next couple of years!!!!" Pointless speculation has already been pointlessly over speculated, but let's go ahead and reinvent the wheel one more time, if you please. Who's up for a Eurofighter in place of worthless paintball? Everyone? Good. Let's move on.
  18. Your post was on page 411. There are posts before yours on page 411. Hence the last 411 pages of the thread. Or are we going to split hairs and say 410 1/2 pages? Or should I just put the number of posts before yours? Of course we've thought about the paintball area. It was discussed over and over again what that area COULD have been used for, but never will never be used for, well before the paintball course was introduced. Post after post has been dedicated to "I wonder if a hyper would fit there" or "That would be a perfect spot for a Gerstlauer." Do you have anymore great ideas for where we should get a new steel roller coaster, even though it will likely be another decade before that happens? You haven't mentioned the removal of the Ninja for a wing rider, yet. That's always a popular one. Do you want to ask us if we've ever considered RMC Iron Horse treatment for the Boss? My point was to (please - as asked) read up on the thread before posting, like everyone else did, so the same topics don't get repeatedly recycled. Or, we can keep going back and forth if you want, while you indulge in your name calling behind the security of your keyboard.
  19. Read the last 411 pages of disappointment if you want an answer on why we have no modern steel in our park. Then tell me if you think we're going to get modern steel anytime soon. So your 2nd post on the forums was coming in here and saying that SFSTL should get a hyper??? For your first post you should have stopped by the Cedar Point thread and suggested that Mean Streak should get Rocky Mountain Treatment? Or is that your next suggestion in this thread for the Boss? We haven't heard that one 1000 times, yet. Please read at least a few pages back before chiming in on your wisdom of how the park can be improved. Believe it or not, the word Hyper has been mentioned a couple times.
  20. ^ What an original idea. I think maybe the park will build an Intamin Hyper in that very spot next year.
  21. When MAMBA was built, 1998, B&M had yet to build a hyper/speed coaster. The first(s) in their portfolio (Ragin' Bull and Apollo's Chariot) were not constructed until the following season (1999) thus it makes no sense to expect Cedar Fair to use B&M for that project. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I should have checked my facts, but I assumed Mamba was a lot newer than it actually is. That being the case, it was a pretty solid addition for 98. I still disagree when referring to Patriot, but that's all subjective.
  22. ^ Agreed. He came off as a tool. Both times... They called the Disk-O coaster a coaster, so I'm sure they are trying to claim the title again. CP never claimed to be attempting to go after the coaster title. It seems like CP cares more about quality over quantity, as opposed to SFMM. Most parks count Disk-O-Coasters as roller coasters.
  23. Gotcha. Thanks for elaborating.
  24. ^ Selfish? It's called marketing. I have a strong feeling you are speaking from experience.
  25. Your wife actually asks to go to parks?! Nice! I'm jealous.
