  1. Six Flags Great Adventure! But I'll have to wait until August.
  2. Well, what I mean is that the wheels on some new coasters don't roll as freely as the ones form older coasters. It may take a few runs form them to roll more easily than they did in the beginning. You can sometimes notice that the on the very first test runs the trains don't go through the track as fast as they do after a few of them, even if the speed of the chain lift is the same. I remember seeing X-flight's first test run and thinking it looked really sow, almost like it would stall on the immelman. If you watch the other ones, that doesn't happen anymore.
  3. I've never got sick after riding anything so, basically, I just ride everything as much as I can.
  4. I'm pretty quiet actually. I never make a sound while riding coasters. I just raise my hands and enjoy the ride!
  5. ^That's right. And don't forget that most coasters, no matter how fast they run the lift hill, never run at its full speed on the first test runs as the wheels may take a while to overcome the initial drag. Not only that but it also looked like the train was empty which means it will be EVEN FASTER when it opens!
  6. Well, I've only been to the US once so here goes my colossal list: New York New Jersey and... that's it By the end of this summer it will have improved.
  7. Bon Jovi: Living on a prayer.
  8. Interesting place to put the LEDs. It'll probably look great when they're on the move (specially at night) Holy trains indeed! Can't wait to see the first tests.
  9. S.F.New England's Bizarro
  10. Gatekeeper! First of all, I'm a massive B&M fan and then, although I like forceful rides (and probably full throttle will be better in that area), I really enjoy long ones that flip you upside down a lot. I'm also looking forward to trying B&M's wingcoasters as the only wingrider I've ever ridden was furius baco. Oh, and I will be going to CP this year and, unfortunately, I've got no plans to go to LA anytime soon.
  11. That's what's so great about this ride.
  12. At least they're not repetitive like the heartline rolls on Colossus And I do like coasters that flip you upside down a lot.
  13. Queen's cool. Muse is my favorite (except for their last album ).
  14. ^Holy crap! That's a lot of countries. Here's mine: Portugal (well, it's quite obvious isn't it?) USA Spain France Italy Netherlands
  15. Well, it's March 2013 and I'm posting this so I guess the world didn't end in 2012.
  16. I remember being quite nervous when I rode space mountain mission 2 at Disneyland Paris (it was my first looping coaster) but, actually, during the ride itself I wasn't scared. However, a few years later, when I went to six flags great adventure and rode nitro it was s different story. It wasn't nervous at all before the ride actually began but as I'd never ridden any coaster with decent airtime and lap-bar restraints before, the first drop scared the crap out of me 'cause I really felt like I was going to fall off the seat. It only lasted for a few second, though, and by the end of the first hill after the drop I was already enjoying the ride. It's a shame that I only got to ride it once during that day (it was awfully crowded).
  17. The flat ride could be a huss giant frisbee. As to the coaster: I would have a floorless B&M with these elements: straight 90ยบ drop; immelman loop; loop; diving loop; zero-G-roll; cobra roll; overbanked high G turn; batwing; airtime hill; helix; interlocking corkscrews; airtime hill; Cutback (very rare); twisted airtime hill; helix and heartline roll. It would have no trims or MCBR, it would be a giga coaster and, therefore, the immelman would be the world's tallest inversion. It would also pull the most Gs on any coaster (think the record is 6.3) and, obviously, the track wouldn't be filled with sand. (Oh and the chain wouldn't slow down on the top of the lift hill like it does on some coasters). I think that's about it.
  18. Yeah, why not? If they can only have two trains running it would seem reasonable if they were larger 'cause, let's face it, 18 riders is not very impressive (some B&M hypers can carry the double).
  19. That B&M floorless came out of the blue. It's good to see that, after all, B&M are building more than 2 coasters for 2013 and I hope that the floorless design remains popular as lately they have been busier with their wingriders. In RCDB it says that it will open this month. That I didn't expect. And, apparently, the indoor coaster will be a premier rides.
  20. Oh, I see. Didn't know that. They do really look unnatural and rather uncomfortable at least from what I've heard.
  21. ^ There may be some confusion here. I guess you mean "batwing element", right? There are only two coasters in the world that feature butterflies and they're both Vekomas (ninja and goudurix). I believe those elements are quite likely to be confused.
  22. Ah, Ah! That's a good one. Like!!!
  23. Trims, MCBR, well, basically, all the types of brakes that aren't the final brake run and that kill the pacing of a ride. I'm a bit surprised why so many people chose cobra rolls as their least favorite element as I've never had any kind of problem with them. What I wouldn't be surprised would be the snap on B&M inverted corkscrews but, actually, I do find them quite fun and intense.
  24. That's right! I mean, you can't help thinking that the reason why the backwards launch exists is the fact that the ride is too short and they try to make it seem longer. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to full throttle and I think it will be a rather good ride, it's just that i find it a bit unnecessary to have this backwards launch when they could launch the train straight away instead of stopping it and sending riders backwards. I know this might sound a bit unnecessary but we wouldn't be coaster enthusiasts if we didn't look at all these details. Looks great though. I can't wait to see the loop construction.
